4GEE Action Cam - account access problem

Not sure if this is the best place to ask as it's more to do with the app you have to install on your phone to use the camera. But I am in the app, on the "Settings / Your Account " page, I press "Data Management"  it says I need to be paired to the camera to view. So I turn on the WiFi and pair up to the camera, go back to the page and it now says I need to be connected to the 3G/4G network to view. So I am caught in a trap. I cannot have both WiFi and 3G/4G network on at the same time so how am I meant to view my account?

Hi
Sorry about that a bit of confusion there!
Right from what I found you can't check your data allowance via the app. You can see the data usage alert texts in Settings > Your Account > Messages.
You can purchase more data via the app.
But to view remaining data you would need to log in to My Account. Click Here for the help & Support pages.
Hope this helps!
Thanks.

  • 4GEE Action Cam file splitting

Hi all,  I've just purchased one of the new 4GEE action cams and am using it out running or cycling. If i'm out for any length of time then the camera is splitting the video up into roughly 12 minute segments. Is there any way i can turn this off so that the entire video is recorded to one larger file as I have plenty of room on the memory card. EE said it was to do with protecting people's data allowances but I have my data turned off and I'm not streaming anyway. Thanks in advance

Hi   (and , ), I checked in with someone on our Action Cam team and found the information below. I hope it helps! Let me know.
The camera supports FAT32 which is basically how the camera more efficiently stores memory. We’ve designed the camera so it splits files every 2GB of data making it easier for customers to download each segment. The camera doesn’t stop recording but for example an 8GB card would have 4 split files making it easier to download and edit those files.
So - I'm afraid you can't switch it off, as it's not a setting that can be changed. Unfortunately not. It’s a software thing so not a setting that can be changed.
Will that work out ok for you in the end ? Your feedback using the Action Cam is really useful so if there's anything from your experience which I can pass back to the team - I'm all ears!

  • Corrupt Files on 4GEE Action Cam

Hi Friends I have this 4GEE Action which to fair is usually a fantastic bit of kit, except I keep running out of data from streams but thats another story. Recently Ive been usng it with a 64GB Samsung SD Card and have done since having it. For some reason all my recordings past a certain point are corrupted and wont playback on quicktime or VLC (I should point out im using a Macintosh) I have re-formatted the card and that seems OK, Reset the action cam and that seems OK as well. The camera does pick up the full 7hrs of recording time and the 16K+ of photographs so clearly the memory is readable on the card. Is anyone able to shed some light on this? I go on a diving holiday in 10 days so would love to work this out. Many thanks for any help you kind people push my way.

ive got the excact same problem

-_- need more information. DO you get an error when trying to access wi fi or app store? have you put your friends wi fi password in to the wifi settings?

  • Help...help...help! Uninstall/reinstall/account-access problems with my Suite

    To Adobe support staff:
I'm having great difficulty trying to find the help I need and would really like to talk to someone at Adobe for which I seem to be unable to do anywhere. I spent great money on my products and nothing here or anywhere will help. This really bugs me here that we are being forced to have to go through this damn forum as I can't get the direct help I need and this delays my progress.
In particular, I've been having trouble trying to uninstall my product as it keeps looking for files that don't exist anywhere and so refuses to uninstall. I had the problem in the first place because when I set up other computer accounts, my Adobe products refuse to operate under them (non-admin account) and recommended uninstalling and reinstalling, a drooling and burdensome process. But I am unable to uninstall all remnants for whatever reasons.
I tried using the adobe clear program too and the same thing occurs and so doesn't complete. I tried removing anything 'adobe' in all my registry files. I tries looking for the msi files that it demands in my installation package to no avail.
Please contact me, Scott Mayers at my account email I provided in my personal account. If there are more than one of me under my name, I'm the one from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is annoying that I even have to publish this much just to get the help I need. I'm disappointed with Adobe for not giving us appropriate and direct customer help phone numbers when we purchase this at great expense.
    Thank you.

I've been corresponding to someone who responded in email and they are only trying to convince me to upgrade to CS6 at a cost to me. I do NOT want to upgrade as I've already spent a large expense on the CS5.5 Master Suite and the Lightroom edition at the same time of purchase. Whoever is responding to me in email appears not to speak English clearly.
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate and the above apps. As I mentioned to the guy in email, I am having trouble operating my product in non-administration accounts where I prefer to function for security reasons. There, the Adobe products are giving me an "Error 6" and insisting that I uninstall and reinstall again. I assumed that maybe this was due to me setting up my other accounts after I installed the Adobe Suite. I also was moving files away from the C drive in order to secure the files separately.
I tried the uninstalls and most of it worked except for the Adobe Acrobat and other remnants. I managed to remove as much as registry markers of Adobe and then also used the download that Adobe suggested to completely clean all Adobe material. This failed as it keeps looking of msi files in odd locations that don't exist.
I only have three remnants left: Adobe Content Viewer, Adobe Community Help, and Adobe Story. The windows uninstaller will not work nor does the cleaner. These are the indicated problems:
Adobe Content Viewer unable to uninstall.
    Windows Installer:
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resourse that is unavailable.
Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'setup.msi' in the box belolw.
    Use source:
    C:\Users\(main admin account)\AppData\Local\Temp\flaAC337.tmp\
X The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it.
Adobe Community Help unable to unistall.
    C:\Users\(admin)\AppData\Local\Temp\fla7002.tmp\
Same as above but upon clicking okay instead of 'cancel':
!The path 'C\Users\(admin)\AppData\Local\Temp\fla7002.tmp\setup.msi' cannot be found.
Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'setup.msi'
in a folder from which you can install thie product Adobe Community Help.  [OK]

  • Icloud account access problem

so I've just moved from USA to Canada.  Before I moved, I changed my apple ID that was associated with my old ISP to a gmail address.  Now when I am trying to restore my iphone, I am getting prompted to accept terms to icloud that was associated with old address.  When I go to try to reset password, it is not listed as a valid address...but I am still getting prompted for it on my devices when they try to access the cloud.  I can't delete the account, because find my iphone is enabled...and without the access to the account I can't login to turn it off...  It all seems to be related to icloud access only...
I can access my account with the gmail info just fine.
    Hope that makes some sense!!???!??

Same problem here. Apple suppport guys haven´t been able to solve it. They told me to wait and check if it starts working again.
Someone knows how to get it orking again?

  • Account access problem

I woke up this morning hoping to download, like quite a few others on this board, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers new album. It seems that I have no account registered with iTunes. That's fine, I click on sign in next to account on the upper right hand of iTunes and then enter the e-mail address registered to iTunes and reset password.
I then receive an e-mail which provides me with a link asking me to enter a new password and confirm it. Done.
When I try to log in using that account and password it sends me back to where I was earlier saying that no Apple ID with this name has been used with iTunes.
Give Apple time to fix this problem or should I go and complain?
    Powerbook G4   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

I've gotten the e-mail with the password for ticketmaster but it seems I still can not get the CD. This is infuriating. I hope Apple really does something to make up for this blooper if it is, indeed, their fault and not mine.
As to the password, they won't be playing in Florida.

  • Action cam mount problems

Hi there, I ordered 2 x mounts (EEACTTIP ACTION CAM ADAPTER MOUNTS) from your web-sit, They arrived today. The problem is, they are the incorrect mounts, you are sending out the packaging mounts- the ones that hold the camera inside the packaging box when you receive it.I just spoke to your distributors (Kondor) and they confirmed someone else had phoned up with this issue earlier, and there product control guy had looked at the product and confirmed this issue.Last time i checked a few minutes ago, they were still available to buy- and Kondor confirmed to me that they do not have the correct product in stock. So there is going to be 100's of these coming back. This needs to be sorted. I purchased this camera on contract to go alongside my ee phone data plan, with the intention of taking it to mexico for diving in 3 weeks, i need these additional mounts. Are the correct mounts going to be available, or is this a huge manufacturing error? Kind regards, Jamie Wiles

    Hello bekti-bsd
The HP Action Cams all have a feature that can invert the picture orientation for using it as a dash cam.
HP does not have the specific manual available as you have noticed but the setting will be similar to the other models.
Look at this link for the ac200. It will give you an idea what to look for.
Scroll down the page about half way to the Settings Screen Display Information and look for the Up/Down arrows to set the orientation.
    http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04021994
You camera menu may not be exactly like this, but you get the idea.
    Hope it helps.

  • My iPAD cellular data plan.  I no longer know which old e-mail I originally used to set up my account.  Any info on how to recover a lost account access?  The only thing on line is a lost password function but it send info an e-mail no longer valid..

My iPAD cellular data plan was set up with an old e-mail account and I no longer have access to this e-mail.  The password is forgotten.  I am unable to access my cellular data plan to update my 3G.  Any help on account access when you no longer can remember the access information?

I called AT&T at 1-800-331-0500 and asked for Ipad support. They are going to send me a new SIM Card. This  will solve the problem. Paul

  • Fix many web access problems with IFS 9.0.1 on Solaris (and other OS's)...

When the installation is done according to the documentation,
web access does not work because the scripts that add entries to
the jserv.properties file add duplicate references to
    wrapper.env and wrapper.classpath. Look at the jserv.properties
file below and look at the remarked-out (#) lines of the
duplicate references. For example, look at the references to the
    wrapper.env=LD_LIBRARY_PATH
Oracle, please note this bug so the web access problems are
minimized when the product is intstalled.

About your home page; Manually set up Firefox with the window(s) and tab(s)
    the way you want them to be. Then;
'''''Firefox Options > General > Homepage'''''.
Press the button labeled ''''Use Current'''.'
    =====================================
Open a new window or tab. In the address bar, type '''''about:config'''''.
If a warning screen comes up, press the '''''Be Careful''''' button.
This is where Firefox finds information it needs to run.
At the top of the screen is a search bar. Enter '''''browser.newtab.url'''''
    and press enter. '''''browser.newtab.url'''''
tells Firefox what to show when a new tab is opened.
If you want, right click and select '''''Modify'''''. You can change the
setting to;<BR><BR>about:home (Firefox default home page),<BR>
about:newtab (shows the sites most visited),<BR>
    about:blank (a blank page),<BR>
or you can enter any web page you want.<BR><BR>
The same instructions are used for the new window setting, listed as
    '''''browser.startup.homepage'''''.

  • 10.5.8 Server, Lost All Account Access

Yesterday (6/2/10), all accounts accessing the server stop working (expired passwords supposedly - everyone). Just finished complete reinstall of server 10.5, setup new accounts and appropriate access privileges. All working nicely. Ran updates, including combo to 10.5.8. Ran one more group of updates including Java for 10.5 Update 7 - then ALL GONE! Only Local Admin access to the computer functions. All Server accounts are gone, wiped out, cannot log into server.
Anyone else experiencing this type of problem? Solution?
I'm suspecting Java Update 7 is culprit.

Have you had any progress on this issue? I just experienced the same thing and am getting ready to start the troubleshooting process.

  • Not enough access problem

Does anyone know how to fix the not enough access problem that came about after the upgrade?
