4s and BT headset: much lower max volume than on 4?

Hi.
I noticed on my new 4s phone that the volume level on the plantronics BT headset is much lower than I used to have on the 4.
This is generally not a big issue when beeing in a quiet area, but in a car very difficult to understand. Even on max volume, I hardly can't hear.
it wasn't that loud before that one has to implement some sound limitation, but at least it was easier.
Anyone else noticed that?

I have the same problem with my E65 and both of my Logitech Freedom headsets (versions 5 and 8). Although the volume problem is annoying, there is a more serious problem where after a while you hear the other party very loud and distorted, while the other party does not hear you at all anymore. Only way to solve this is to reboot (switch off and on) the phone. The headsets work perfectly on my 2 other Nokia phones, one 6021 and one other I don't remember the model number.
My only resolution is to buy a new headset, any recommendations for troublefree use?

Liquid spills, why your MacBook chassis is a one-way valve for spills
After a substantial spill many people will turn their notebook upside down and shake it, not only does this not work, but it spreads liquid havoc throughout your machine and makes things often as bad as possible.
The keyboard itself acts like a one way valve in the case of a substantial liquid spill. While liquid pours into the bottom chassis easy, it does not come out easily at all, and in the case of any spill, most of it will not come out by turning it upside down. Disconnect all power and contact Apple for diagnostics and repair.

In case of a spill, damage estimates are impossible,.....anything can be fixed, without question.......the question is cost.

Arena Headset - Goes to max volume on Windows 7 x64

I recently purchased an Arena USB headset for my new Core i5 rig. The install went smooth, however I noticed that while listening to iTunes or playing games the volume for the headset would got to max vol. on its own. Using the windows volume controls, or buttons on the headset control temporariily lower volume. As soon as you stop trying to lower the volume, it shoots back up to max.
I installed the new "beta" drivers off creative, but these sounded horrible.
My current drivers are
Driver Provider: Creative
Driver date: 7/20/2009
Driver version: 1.0.18.0
I installed the Arena set on my Windows 7 x32 laptop and it works great, no problems with volume control.
I've removed and reinstalled the drivers 3x already, and yes, they are the x64 versions. Please help. I'm thinking the x64 drivers do not function correctly.

Nobody out there has this problem? Tech support didn't help. I got the "install the updated drivers" advice. Yup, I've done that, several times. My only fix has been to leave it at max volume and turn down the volume in each of my games. Nice; I'm contemplating getting rid of these. It's a shame because they sound really good and are comfortable.
Oh, when I try to manually update the driver to the path where the x64 driver are installed, windows just says the best drivers are already installed.

I have creative 5. 5200 speakers, using them with Soundblaster Li've! 24 bit external. But 've a max volume problem. It is too low for this speakers. I've used them with internal creative 5. li've sound blaster, and the max volume was too much higher. Any idea?

T61 has a very low max volume

I'm running a T61 with Win XP SP3 and the max volume with all the sliders is very soft. Any way to improve this besides external speakers or using headphones?

Found another way around this problem. There are aftermarket software packages out there that allow you to boost the "gain" levels of your sound output. I got one as a snapin to Windows Media Player and now I can boost the volume levels to a more acceptable level. You trade some sound clarity for the increased volume but the quality on the stock speakers was never great anyways. I'll find the package and post a link to the freeware download page.

Lower speaker volume than usual

Recently i noticed my macbook's speakers have a lower volume than before. When i use my earphones, there doesn't seem to be any difference compared to the past. So i think it should be a problem with the speakers. Is there anyway i can test the speakers to see if they are indeed faulty?

Oh great!! Well if that is the case then thanks Apple for allowing the European Union to treat us even more like children and not let us think for ourselves that if the the volume was too loud we could just maybe turn it down??
Now I can't enjoy my ipod, it just doesn't sound the same, much flater sound especially on all Equalizer settings, only goes louder if EQ is flat or turned off.

Did you officially purchase the in an EU country? They require a lower max volume than the USA and other countries.

Nokia 603 - Very low call volume

My nokia 603 has very low call volume than ordinary level.
It seems to be known issue with 603. But i am unable to get any solution for the same.
Is there any patch update to be done for the same?

I've never been aware of a function like this in the past. You could create a personal ringtone that would last 30 seconds or less and set the volume on that ringtone to do that with an audio editor, such as Audacity.

Why is volume of Spotify so much lower than all other apps?

So I've just installed the Spotify app on my Sony z3 and the volume is so much lower than all the other audio out puts.. I have no issue listening to audio normally via the normal music player but with Spotify I have to put volume on max and muck about with equaliser... Yeah it also gives the illusion of crappy sound because you can't hear everything. People think it's muffled because it can't play as loud. I even analyzed the audio to see how it compared to other services by normalizing the audio. Everything sounded the same but at the regular volume it sounds muffled. I really wish they would raise the default volume.

Well, my volume control certainly does influence the start up chime and I cannot see why yours shouldn't. Use keyboard buttons F11 and F12 to adjust your sound level last thing at night and if your machine auto starts in the morning it will not wake the household.
True, if volume control is turned down to a lower level, you would have to adjust it for other sound output that you do want later, iTunes and videos on browsers etc, but it requires little effort.

I have a T60p Think Pad, The problem i am facing is .. even i set the max volume in my TP in volume control icon in systray and
media player as well , I am hearing very low sound when compared to other TP's such as R52 ..are there any settings to be done so that i get volume more ..any help is really appreciated.

Have you tried pushing the volume buttons near the top of the keyboard to adjust volume?
Also check your device manager to make sure there are no issues with your sound driver.

Bounce from Ultrabeat and Lower Audio Volume

Hi,
I have noticed that when I create an Ultrabeat pattern, drag it into the arrange window, and bounce to audio that my volume level is MUCH lower when IMPORT the bounced file back into an audio track......why?.....how do I solve?
My Ultrabeat pattern is pumping out good levels on the fader .......the audio file ...on import has almost no level .....when I overdrive the Ultrabeat pattern I get good audio levels but they are distorted...hmmmmm

I have Sennheiser MM400 headphones...and even at MAX volume, they are still pretty quiet. I've checked the volume limits, and there are none...is there a way to get more volume through them?
