4s won't backup because wifi keeps turning off.
I have an iPhone 4s. The wifi hasn't been working on it for a long time. I finally decided to get a new phone. Each time I try to back my phone up with icloud the wifi will temporarily turn itself off. This has happened every single time. How can I fix this so I can back it up?
If you are backing up automatically (rather than manually by tapping Back Up Now), make sure you are plugging the phone into your charger. If you don't, wifi will shut off shortly after you lock the screen to conserve battery power.

i know my access connection version is 5.21..
but how do i check the other stuff? where is the lenovo interface system tray? where is the hot key tray? how do i check the versions of all these drivers?
and if all is update - i just need to install the exe file of the new wifi driver? how should i do it? -
Every time I go to turn my wifi on to connect it just stays on for a minute without even trying to connect to anything and then turns off.

Had the exact same problem ! 2 days later I just shut the whole system down and restart / Boot back up problem was solved Wifi slider now Dark Blue as compared to a ghosted Blue before that keeped returning to The off position and all my listed Wifi connections came back ! not sure how the problem began -

Go to System Preferences
Click Network
Highlight AirPort and click Configure or Advanced depending on version of OSX...
Choose “By default, join: Preferred networks”
Select your access point and Remove your access point with the minus button.
Launch your keychain access in Utilities and delete your access point keychain entry.
Reboot
Go back to the “By default, join:” page and click the plus this time to add your access point. Enter the correct password, save, reboot.
Instead of joining it from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed. -

8gb memoryYou are running a pretty old version of the OS if your information is correct above and there have been quite a few improvements to the WiFi systems in recent releases.
You may want to try to reinstall the OS. If that does not work you may consider upgrading the OS. -
Can anyone help me keep wifi off on my S5? Since the last update my wifi keeps turning on without input from me. I have unlimited data and don't use the wifi much to extend the battery but this is killing it now.
Help is here to resolve this issue with your wifi connection 88DaveS. Lets try disabling your "Smart Network Switch". Select Settings> Wifi. The 'smart network switch' is in the advanced settings. Locate the Menu icon in the upper right hand corner > Tap Menu > Tap Advanced > Locate and ensure the check box is Unchecked next to Smart network switch. Let us know if this helps.

If the rebuild doesn't help try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Lion and Mt. Lion from the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

Cracked ipod touch screen and it won't let me in or turn off. Tried to back it up and put on new ipod touch 5 and now it's not working and doing the same thing. I tried to restore to orginal but it won't let me any suggestions?

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

My Ipod touch 5th generation, keeps turning off when it thinks too much the screen goes green, red and sometimes negatives colors which then turns off , this issue has been going on for at least two months i would say,I honestly dont know what to do .... Why don't I see the airplay icon in my settings? I have the ios7 installed now my netflix won't work as need to turn off mirroring..... And the airplay device is not installed.... Anyone help on this?.
Reboot your router. The icon only shows when connected to wifi and Apple TV or similar device. Same thing happened with my phone and the icon appeared in control center after router reboot.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY. -

Try forcing the phone into recovery mode and restore as a new device.

Doing this will help eliminate any possible software issue that could be causing this. Setting up a new device will bypass a backup with possible data corruption.
If the issue continues after this, you should contact Apple for service for the phone as it will very likely be a hardware issue. -
