5.0 Toolbar & menu are too hard to see. How do I get back to prior version or change them?
Menus and toolbar in version 5.0 have white or black on gray. I can't read them. How do I change them or how do I go back to the prior version of Thunderbird?
I think this is the trend, where you can't avoid updates. It's for your safety.

Check the General -> Restrictions settings and see if perhaps the iTunes app is turned off there. If not, the app may have been inadvertently moved to another home screen or dropped into a folder. Do a search for the app or try resetting the Home screen layout: Choose General > Reset, then tap Reset Home Screen Layout.

Hard drive crashed how do I get back my music
My hard drive crashed. I had some of my music backed up, but this was unexpected--the computer was new and I lost everthing! How do I get my purchases back?
You really should be doing regular backups so it is up to date.

I can use Explorer to get to to the webmail, but Firefox no longer works.
You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them. -

OK?I don't see how you can say it's "better in every way". Just look at the amount of complaints about crashes, hanging, etc. I've never had a problem with FF until this version, and now not only does it hang/freeze when I wake my MacBook up from sleep mode, but randomly it will just hang as I'm trying to load a page. It is NOT faster (I have BT Infinity so my speed is as good as you can get around here, and my MacBook Pro is less than a year old with all OS updates), and it is incredibly disturbing and time-wasting when I'm trying to do work from home and constantly having to force-quit FF every half hour or so. It sometimes takes 10 minutes to load a page, if it loads at all!
I say all this not to whine, but because I LOVE FF and want this to work... it's just not. And while I see lots of people complaining about the hanging issue, I don't see any responses except for "tell us the specifics of your issue". Which we have done. -

If you do not have a back, you can select first track on list in song view, from menu > edit > select all. Next ctrl+click and select download from pop up. You may wish to do this in small batches as it will take some time to download.

Hi Chris,
The only way that I know of to change the colour of the window headings, these,
is in the System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing > Display and change the White on Black settings, using grey scale in there to helps, but it also opens a hole lot of other issues as it reverses all colours throughout the system. You can switch it back and forth as shown on this setup screen.
Other than that, maybe changing the screen resolution so that all items are larger or zooming the screen when you require it by holding the Control button and scrolling the mouse or two finger scroll on the trackpad.
There may be, of course, a third party app that changes the colours by searching google.

I just stepped over from explorer to firefox and al my saved favorites from explorer are vanished. How can I get back these favorites? Besides that I can´t find a favorite menu in my firefoxbrowser wich I like to work with

Video playback for Amazon and Netflix are too dark to see. Running OSX 10.10.2
When playing these streaming videos, the pictures are too dark to see much of anything. YouTube and Facebook videos are nice and bright. I tried "never activate" the plugins, but that made no difference.

Everything on my screen, Mac Pro, shrunk! Gmail, bookmark pane, task bar menu, even the password sign in. I'm sure I did something with the fingers thing. How do I get back to default. The font is tiny, tiny. My operationg system is Mavericks.

Contol F3 makes my whole screen larager or smaller.
Command option 8 does nothing that I can see.
Command option + or - will zoom in or out on the page I am on but if I change windows it reverts.
But bookmarks pane, the task bar, the password sign in and even the post I am writing (actually every printed word), are a font so small I almsost need a magnifiying glass. This includes web pages too!
I am using Mavericks.
Trying to retrace my steps when this happened. Nothing unusual, I was using airplay to watch a You Tube segment on the tv. I don't think that is related.

Had you copied the songs over to your computer's iTunes library, do they show in the Music section on it ? You can copy purchases that you still have on your iPad over to your computer's iTunes library via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option -
I have an extensive aperture library on my computer's hard drive and I want to break it up into separate smaller libraries on external hard drives. How do I take projects from one library and add them to another one?

Frank gave you the exact answer to your question.
However, I would like to ask if you are indeed asking the right question. Do you really want different libraries? The implications are that you have to "switch" libraries to see what's in the others, and so that your searches don't work across all of your pictures? If so, then you asked the right question. If not, you may be more interested in relocating your masters to multiple hard drives so your library gets smaller, instead of breaking up the library.

So I have just had my potentially duff 1Tb hard drive replaced by apple and uploaded my data from time machine only to discover that pages is now speaking to me in a different language. The keyboard has been selected as UK during setup. Any idea how I can get back to qwerty?

What exactly are you referring to? Are the menus or templates for Pages in a different language? Does something strange appear on the screen when you type?
Could you perhaps use the Camera icon here to post a screenshot of what you are seeing?
To make sure you have the right keyboard, go to system preferences/language & text/input sources and make sure that only the box for US or British is checked (and that the box for French or German or anything else is not checked).
