5.1.1 Style cover problem. Spotify widget.

Hi. Since the latest upgrade I have a problem with the spotify lock screen widget when using style cover. The problem is that nothing happens when I touch the buttons on the widget. I can see that the widget react when I push the buttons by a small bright ring of light around the button. But nothing happens. Everything is working fine when I am not using the style cover. The original lock screen widget is working fine. I did a factory reset and install everthing again but I still have the same problem. 5.1.1 bug?

I think it's a compatibility issue from Spotify widget, but I can't confirm this for sure. Check Spotify's Play Store page to see if any other users reported the same problem.

Style Cover SCR24 and Music Player problem

Hello; I need some help. I just bought a Style Cover SCR24 that I am using with my Xperia Z3 Dual (D6633), everything seems to be working normally with exception of the Music Player that when in the window of the Style Cover curiously doesn´t show the image of the album playng and the name of the music playing. I know that at least with the normal Xperia Z3 this appear, so I ask why this situation. The problem is not in the phone solely because the Music Player in there works just fine, its just with the Style Cover that this happens.Will it be that the SCR24 with the Xperia Z3 Dual (and not Z3) causes this bug? Do you have means to replicate this situation and tell me if it is normal happening, or could there be any problem of software or hardware in my Z3 Dual or SCR24?I already installed the Style Cover several times but the situation mantains.Waiting your answer. The style cover music player widget does not work with my Sony Xperia Z3 - and that's the main reason I bought it. The controls are greyed out. It tells me: "to enable, open cover and start music" but starting music in walkman or any other app makes no difference.
Waiting for a fix.

Style cover with smart window style cover widget app

I was wondering if it was possible to change the weather metric from Fahrenheit to Celsius on the smart window style cover widget?

If your talking about AccuWeather widget then yes it is possible click on it so it expands then you will find a wrench and screw driver shaping as a X press it and you will find temperature formate as Celsius press that and pick Fahrenheit and after that it should say F instead of C or so

Style cover SCR26 no clock in smart window

When my smart cover is closed, I can't see the time. I see the small icons for battery etc. and the big + sign to add new widgets, but I have no clock.It worked when I got it, but after the lollipop update I have no clock in the smart window and I can't add a clock widget. I have tried to reinstall the app and updated it with what's new with no luck.Any ideas what I can do?

Clock widget might have been removed by accident, you can add it back by closing the case, tap on PLUS sign, open the case, choose "Style cover widget".

Style cover SCR26 gel pad loosens from cover

Hi,
I have the style cover for the Z3 compact.
I had to reattach the phone a few times to the gel pad and the phone sticks hard to it, no problem there.
Yesterday when I opened the cover the phone almost fell to the floor because the gel pad itself was no longer sticking to the cover.
The sticky glue on the back of the gel pad does no longer stick to the cover, so my phone is loose in the cover every time I open it.
What can I do to resolve this? Return the cover to the store or use a super glue to fix it myself? The cover is about 6 weeks old.

Just wet the gel pad with a few drops of water, wait it to dry a bit or dry it with a lint-free cloth and re-attach it. I don't suggest Super Glue as it may be impossible to remove it without damaging the back of headset.

CS4 paragraph styles indentation problem

CS4 paragraph styles indentation problem: indentation specifics abruptly APPEAR differently but read the same (in the paragraph style pallet) from page 5 to 6 and beyond. (There is no character style applied to any of the text, and no change to the page margins. The same Master page is applied to all.) On page 5 when I pull the text box down, the type is indented correctly, but when I flow it to page 6, it changes to a different indentation and looks wrong for the style.

Here it is with the text block on page 5 pulled down to reveal correct indentation formatting, but still off on page 6.

Style cover stopped working a week ago - 'unfortunately, style cover has stopped working'

Hi, I got my xperia z3 about a month ago and style cover justa few days after. It was working great at first but since last week it has stopped, it no longer minimses the screen when I shut the lid. The phone must regocnise style cover is there however as when my phone is in stand by and I pen the screen, it goes to the lock screen. However, when in a phone call and I close the lid, the smart cover creates a mini window but doesn't do this under any other circumstance. I am not in stamina mode, my antivirus is turned off, I have linked the cover to the phone (as it was working of course). And when I turn style cover off, and back on, the first time I try to use it I get the 'unfortunately, style cover has stopped working' message.

Do you have a taskiller? nfc on? any other antivirus or battery apps?

The other day, I got a notification saying that Style Cover was ready to update. I updated it but I'm just wondering what it is?

SCR-24 style cover

Hi,
I recently purchased the SCR-24 style cover and installed it on the phone, however I never realised it needed to be connected Via NFC and I've never been able to use the window functions at all. After doing some research on these forums I've recently tried connecting by switching on NFC and taking the cover off and putting back on again with NFC on and nothing seems to work. Can someone please help.

You need to touch the NFC tag on your phone with the tag on the cover before attaching it.

Style Cover - app didnt load

Hi there. I got a style cover and appently when you first use it is meant to load an app that sets the screen up for use with the style cover window. This hasnt happended and the only apps i can find all colour matching formats but not functionality for the cover. please help?

Scr24 style cover Z3

My style cover doesn't work to well I think. The touch doesn't work to well, I have installed a style cover theme and the nfc tag in the cover only opens play store, is it anything else i should install for it??

Style cover window questions...

Hi,
I want to buy a style cover window case for my Xperia Z3 (D6603, lollipop 5.0.2) And I have heard reports of losing function after lollipop updat. Is this true? And can I remove the case and switch back and forth cases as I like a different style everyday, how does the cover stick to the phone? Glue? Tape? Something else? Anything else I should know? Any help is appreciated.

Style Cover SCR26

The style cover that I have bought does not seem to work. I have gone through the set up and it says that NFC and Bluetooth is trurned on. It says tough devices to start, but when I touch the devices (screen mirroring) nothing happens. When I close the case nothing happens. So far I have a very expensive flip case?

I'm not sure what you mean. When you have activated NFC in your phone, you place the phone at the NFC icon at the cover. If you open the cover, you can see the NFC icon under the window for the cover.

Lollipop update and Style Cover Window SCR24

Hi. Yesterday, after updating my Z3 onto Android Lollipop, I cannot use my phone's Style Cover Window SCR24's window for answering calls, disabling alarms etc. Touch window just doesn't function anymore. If and when will Sony repair this? Do I have to wait for a firmware update or is there something hidden in the settings/apps I can enable/disable myself? Thanks in advance and best regards, Riho.

Hi. Smart cover window IS visible when closed. I can see weather info, camera icon etc. Everything is exactly the same as in KitKat, but when someone calls, I cannot answer/reject thru the window. Touch just doesn't function.Screenshots:
Touch is completely dead in smart cover window and absolutely no events work.I use a Pattern screen lock, but touch also doesn't function with Swipe or no screen lock.I only have myself and Guest listed under Users & profiles.With best regards.

Style Cover SCR26 not linking

Hi,
Just received the SCR26 Style Cover. I executed the follwoing actions:
Turned on NFC
Held phone to the thingy
New tag is registered with follwoing link (?):
"somc://com.sonymobile.coverapp?FV=1&CT=1&CC=-1&WW=336&WH=336&TM=155&VN=Sony_SRC26&DP=com.sonymobile.themes.cover.black"
And then nothing happens. Double tapping the link does not seem to do anything; holding the link it for a few seconds doesn't; closing the cover does not do anything. So what should I do next to get it working?

Go to your Seetings -> Apps -> All -> Chech that you have an app called "Style cover" -> Force stop, Clear data, and restart your phone. Now make sure you have a working internet connection and try pairing the cover again.
