5.1.1 update and now no wifi connection

Updated three phones, one ipod, and two ipads, after the 5.1.1 update I am unable to connect to my wifi. Keeps saying wrong password. Both laptops connect with the password so why isn't the apple products. All have been hard reset, restored to new and still no luck. Have reset network connections more times than I can count. Any ideas???

In your WiFi settings, choose your network and tap "Forget this network". Then, re-add it, using your password when it prompts you. That should do it. If not, turn off security on the router, and verify all clients can then attach to it. Once you've confirmed they can, re-add each client using your password.
Apple products do support 5 GHz, depending on what you're looking for. As chuan said, if possible, use WPA or better if all your devices support it. Why not use better security if it's available?

Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Try quitting the App Store:
Tap the home button to get to the home screen. Then double tap the home button, and hold your finger over the App Store icon. Tap the red when it appears. Tap the home button again to return to the home screen.
Try resetting:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.

Are you running Leopard on your Mac, Laurie?
If so, try instead updating to iTunes 10.6.3.25. (That supports earlier models of iPhones running iOS 6, even though it can't run the new iPhone 5s.)

Have you tried starting FF in safe mode and then disabling all add-ons and extensions?
Then restart the browser enabling each add-on one by one. I did this and found that Stumbleupon toolbar was the problem for me as my browser was freezing as soon as I started it and going into not responding but with this currently disabled the browser works fine. Just hope there is an update for Stumble soon.

Macbook EFI firmware update 2.7 update and now my wifi doesn't work!

I did the EFI 2.7 update and now when I open the laptop from sleep on any wifi network it does work, and says im connected in wireless yet on safari im "not connected to the internet" after switching from one wifi network and then back to the original and waiting 30 seconds it finally works, i shouldnt have to fiddle and screw around with wifi on this computer when before the update it worked fine. I expect a fix from apple dang fast or if some one can tell me how to uninstall it, because it did nothing but ruin my computer experience. Very upset with apple right now.

I had the same problem, but was able to solve it by resetting the SMC control..
1) Power off the machine
2) HOLD OPTION + CONTROL + SHIFT + PRESS POWER BUTTON
3) Then release,
4) THEN POWER ON normally
This worked for me..

Installed iOS7 update and now wifi and Bluetooth not working

My daughters 4s has never skipped a beat - perfectly reliable. Just updated iOS7 with update and now both wifi and Bluetooth not working. Wifi is greyed out and when you go into bluetooth the busy twirly symbol is constantly going round. Can someone please help me as I'm pulling my hair out! My other Daughters iphone 4s is fins BUT she has not downloaded latest update - and she won't until this is resolved. If needs be I will take to store and DEMAND for it to be sorted out - either by repair or replacement as it is wholly a seemingly software issue and nothing wrong with the phone.
Gutted really as I am a huge Apple fan and customer with ipods, phones, iMac & iPads all around. If this is not resolved I fear an Apple drought may begin!

it is really unbelivable that plenty 4s devices suffered the wifi troubleshooting just after upgrading to ios7, and finally.... i should burn wifi and bluthoot, and another hardware problems should cause % battery value is disappeared....

Why would you do that when your phone is updating?
Your phone is in recovery mode If you can't update or restore your iOS device

Looks like you restored your backup file to her phone. If you didn't back up your wife's phone first, then the data is gone, sorry.
