5.1 mix broken in CC 2014.2 (V8.1)?

Has anybody experienced the same with the most recent version of Premiere (V8.1)?
The audio hardware only shows L/R but I certainly can send something out to front L/R and center. The same applies for Windows WDM setup. Only two channels show up but it can play something via 5.1.
However, every 5.1 mix sends everything just to the center now (doesn't matter if played from the master or the sequence itself). The waveforms in my master track (containing 5.1 sequences) just are flat lines (while the output comes out of the center).
The stereo sequence on the right hand side plays just fine (both in the master and as a sequence itself). It seems to be just an issue with the 5.1 sequence.
The mixer of the master track is as in the previous version of Premiere just a mess (I got used to it) but now I cannot even hear the 5.1 mix any longer. Still the center shows up in the left cannel meter.
I *could* be also my soundblaster Z but I've now spent half a day installing / deinstalling drivers and it hasn't changed anything.

The ASUS D2G is out again because it won't run reliably (loads of audio dropouts and sometimes complete freeze of the timeline). The Soundblaster Z is back in again. After experimenting a while there seems to be these bugs:
- not all channles are listed in "Audio hardware" but it's still 5.1 when using the ASIO driver (bug somehwere probably in Premiere but might be Soundblaster's problem)
- there is def a bug in Premiere: with the sound "puck" at center it doesn't matter if the "center %"-knob is at 0% or 100% to center. It's always sent to the center speaker. Workaround: duplicate the track and send send one to the left ch and one to the right ch.
- A 5.1 master (see screenshot) containing 5.1 sequences might have a broken track mixer. Fix: create a new 5.1 master sequence and copy/paste the sequences into the new one. That fixes missing sliders / NAN at levels.
- The 5.1 master has just flat lines as waveforms on the timeline but the sound output is fine.
- The level meter shows a signal on the left channel when sending a signal to the center (center knob at 100%). However the output is correct.

When I do the right click on clip dynamic link to audition, this is broken.
Does anyone know a fix for this?

I am having the same problem; both Premiere and Audition are CC 2014 versions. The clip is output as a.wav file to an Adobe Audition Interchange folder, but isn't opening Audition. Doing it outside the dynamic link all works of course but not as it did with CS6. I am calling the video clips from an external drive; I am wondering if I need to have all the working files within the same folder on the same drive? I shouldn't have to, of course, but maybe this is a bug that has crept into this version.

Scripted pattern fill broken in last 2014 update?

Is there something wrong with my last october 2014 update? The scripted scripted pattern fill no longer works as it should...
Win 7 64 Pro.

1. It has less items than in earlier version eg no trees
2. It fills the subject with the "standard" fills not the chosen scripted fill. For instance if I choose bricks I get the bubbles with more or less faint outlines of what could be vaguely recognised as bricks.

How to save an Adobe InDesign CC 2014 document with AppleScript

Code that works in CS4 and CC is broken in CC 2014. Anyone have a work around for this?

Error exporting Premiere CS6 sequence to edit in Audition CS6

Hi there!
I've been trying to export a sequence from Premiere CS6 to edit in Audition CS6 through "edit>edit in Adobe Audition>sequence". However, I keep receiving the following error message:
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
[../../Src/Sequence/TrackItem.cpp-171]
When I hit continue the rendering doesn't move forward and I have to cancel the process.
Does anyone has a clue what could be wrong???

Cannot launch vivado simulator 2015.1: behav/compile.bat' script "Please check that the file has the correct 'read/write/execute' permissions"

I'm trying to run a verilog simulation using the vivado simulator 2015.1 on Windows 7.
I get the following error when I attempt to launch simulation:
ERROR: [USF-XSim-62] 'compile' step failed with error(s) while executing 'D:/projects/axi/axi_test_system/axi_test_system.sim/sim_1/behav/compile.bat' script. Please check that the file has the correct 'read/write/execute' permissions and the Tcl console output for any other possible errors or warnings.
The tcl console repeats the same message, "Please check that the file has the correct 'read/write/execute' permissions"
I cannot find any problem with the permissions. I believe that windows will always execute a .bat file.   Within the same project, I can run elaboration, synthesis and implementation without problems.
Any idea why the simulation compile script won't run?

Thanks very much for your detailed reply. These were the right questions based upon what I told you.
However, I took the code home last night and ran it on my webpack 2014.2 release.   It still failed, but I got completely different error messages.   These messages correctly pointed me to an undeclared signal in my testbench. Once fixed, the compile worked and the simulator launched.
This morning, I fixed the signal name in my 2015.1 setup, and it also compiled and launched correctly.
So, the problem wasn't actually related to file permissions. It seems like the 2015.1 error message may be broken compared to 2014.2.
I was running the Vivado GUI, clicking on "Simulate > Run Behavioral Simulation"

I was trying to send the premiere audio to edit in Audition CS6. When I right click on premiere audio, I could not select "Edit Clip in Adobe Audition" option to send my audio to Audition. Please, Anyone can help me to solve this problem.

Software Monitoring HELP

I use a 1.83 GHz G5 iMac to run Logic Express. My mixing board is firewire and supports software monitoring, it's a MultiMix16 Firewire. My problem is with software monitoring.
Randomly, a few days ago, I began working on something and realized I wasn't hearing any audio from the program. Most normally, I'd be plugged into my headphone out or even main mix out, and I'd hear what I've recorded via the program. (All the tracks, etc.) Now, for whatever reason, I can still record with the board but don't hear any audio out except the live noise. Confusing, but I need help. I know I've got software monitoring enabled.
Is my mixer broken? Is it simply a setting issue in Logic express? HELP!

Your problem is exactly my problem. I tried both Windows Xp and 7. I can see live video, but the utility only record for a few second and freeze. There is no tech support in my country - cambodia, so I'm in a more serious situation. I also need help. May be I should tried from a fresh windows installation, but what is it good for. It takes lot of time to reinstall everything. Your comments do suggest some software conflict. I think I will try it on my laptop rather than my desktop, which I do not have lot of software installed on my laptop.

Adobe Muse Welcome Screen Blank

Problem: Muse Welcome screen is broken on Muse 2014 Build. Have tried running the program with admin perms, changing the compatibility to Windows XP and reinstalling the app clean however nothing has changed. This seems to be a major problem with Adobe Muse 2014.

Import audio to iMovie via GarageBand

In the 2012 version of iMovie for iOS it was possible to import audio from GarageBand via the Open In menu. This option seems to be broken in the 2014 version. Nothing happens when I get sent from Garageband to iMovie, before I could select which movie project to open the GarageBand song or audio in.
Is this a known bug?

Errorlog filling with changed language setting and changed database context messages

On one of my servers, the ERRORLOG is filling with messages for "Changed language setting to..." and "Changed database context..." for every single connection. They are generated for any kind of connection--such as Management Studio.
How did this get turned on? How do I suppress the messages in the errorlog? This is the only server that's having the problem.

Singer/Songwriter genre

Excuse me but if they don't write the song they are NOT a songwriter. Even if they write other songs, if they didn't write this one, the song should NOT be filed under Singer/Songwriter.
I use iTunes's genres to help me filter the new releases to find the music I want. I want to find GENUINE singer-songwriters, not cover-artists. In the past few weeks I have seen several covers, including many versions of Ed Sheeran's "Sing", and several versions of a song called "Am I Wrong". It's a shame you don't include songwriter info with your songs, then we could know who really wrote them.

X1 Carbon 2014 Key Broken

Hey Guys! I have a Thnkpad X1 Carbon - 2014. I was working on my laptop a while back; and pressed the Esc key just to see it pop out. I tried fixing it bak, but noticed that one of the hinges on the right hand side clamp is broken.
The Machine is just 6 months old and I am under onsite warranty. The machine works fine otherwise.
I called up support guys and they told me that since I did not have accidental damage protection, I need to carry my laptop to an authorised service centre and that I would not be covered under warranty. I tried explaining that it popped out in the regular course of use and that there was no accident or damage inflicted on the machine, but they seemed to ingore and simply repeated the accidental damage protection thing.
We may so much for the quality of machines and the quality of after sales service and buy these expensive machine. This is totally unexpected of Lenovo and so disappointing. I am sure my next machine is going to be something which costs 1/2 as much for a much better configuration. Its pointless paying so much and then getting such substandard service and steroetype answers to your issues.
Any suggestions? Should I just go and buy a new keyboard to save me the hassle of contacting the support guys again?

Hopefully, someone from the Adobe Tech Community may shed some light on this MAJOR issue, as it precludes users from accessing Online Help and Support!

Pfondaneche, when you press F1, are you just in the main Photoshop window?
When I press F1 I see it go through a quick redirection and within a small fraction of a second it ends up here:

The specific link you posted does not work for me either, so I'm assuming there's an Adobe server problem somewhere, or maybe a problem with that particular link.
I've noticed Adobe has failed to update a number of its pages for the new Photoshop CC 2014.1 release. For example, where is a new page that describes where Photoshop CC 2014.1 keeps its preference files?

AE CC 2014 error 33 § 7! Project file is broken. (iMac)

Hello there,
I have the following problem:
I did a film with lots of text animation in After Effects CC 2014 (the newest version).
For different versions of that film in different languages I took my origin german project file and saved it as a different project with a different name.
I did my modifications for like 30 min and then I started with the next project in the next language. I was doing that the hole day. In the end of my workprocess I wanted to export all of my films.
So now when I open my projects, it says that the file is broken: Error 33 § 7.
Even the Auto-Save-Files are broken. I can't open any of these projects except the german file. Everything I did, is lost and I have to do it again.
I've allready reinstalled the suite but it's always the same. Is there a way I can still open them? What is the source for that error?
Here are some technical details:
iMac 27" 2009
OSX 10.9.5
3,06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
8 GB RAM 1067 MHz
ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB

Nobody can tell you anything without knowing the specifics. For starters, verify the integrity of your storage drive! Other than that this could be anything from font errors to specific issues using special characters in the text to more generic stuff like the cache getting tainted....
