5.1 Surround Not Working in PPAPI Chrome

i can tell you why I use the other flash then the one built in to chrome. The one that is built in to chrome ONLY plays youtube and other things on left and right speaker. NO other speakers even though i set stereo to come out of all speakers in 5.1 setup. in the NPAPI flash it sends sound to all speakers like it should. the built in HATES surround and stereo forced to surround :-(

I have a creative X-FI audiocard pci-e version with logitech Z506 surround set. I have set creative soundblaster sorftware set to 5.1 with X-FI CMSS-3D enabled so stereo sound is put out to all speakers. Yes it works every else in windows. in firefox in the same youtube stereo is converted out to all speakers but in chrome only to front left and right speakers when I use the built in Flash. If I go in and change it in chrome://plugins it works but now with the 64 bit it craches and you are closing that down later this yearh. I really hope you guys can fix so it can put stereo out to all speakers like it does from youtube in firefox when i have XFI CMSS-3D enabled.

  • Adobe Muse site not working in Google Chrome

Hi Guys, my adobe muse website www.focaldesigns.ie is not working in Google Chrome, i was advised to publish it again which I tried twice with no joy. Any help on how i can get the site back working in Chrome and on an iPad would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a mil, Claire

Hi Gaurav, thank you for taking the time to check this out for me. I appreciate it.
I've figured out If you open it in Chrome on a larger that 15" screen the site will open yet for some reason when I open it in Chrome it recognizes it as tablet and http://focaldesigns.ie/tablet/index.html appears in the tab bar -
I've tried re publishing the site in Muse and updated Chrome updates yet it is still not opening on a 15inch mac in Google Chrome, it is opening in other internet browsers perfectly. Any ideas?
Look forward to hearing form you.
    Thanks Again.

  • Animation does not work in Google Chrome

I was using Chrome as my defualt for testing my Edge projects. At some point, I changed the way divs were stacked and animated the position of one of the divs and the animation never worked thereafter. That said, It works fine in Firefox and Safari. Anyone have any insights as to what could be the problem?
Is there anything I can provide that will give better clarity to this issue?
Here is a link to the project:

    Hi Colin,
    Thank you for your reply.
Because of the certificate chrome is not trusting. I have imported the certificate from CX module and added the same certificate in google chrome browser, then it is working fine.

  • Help needed - Captivate 7 Audio not working in Safari/Chrome in html5

I think I am going slightly mad. For the life of me I can not get the audio to work in either Chrome or Safari (both versions are up to date) on an ipad and android tablet.
I have created a 1 slide project which just consists of a blank slide plus an audio mp3 file I have imported to the slide.  I have turned off all the button click sounds and not scaled the html.
I then publish to html5, uplaod it to my LMS and try and view it.  Works fine in IE on a desktop. But when I try and view it in Chrome and Safari there's no audio. In Chrome it seems to default to mute, so I unmute it but still nothing,  In Safari the mute button is not even there, even through it is enabled in the skin.
Anyone have any ideas as it's driving me mad?  Unfortunate thing is I downloaded Articulate storyline and after 10 mins I had uploaded a html 5 zip file and it working great on the ipad, with audio.

    Hi
Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with audio in Captivate's HTML5 output.
What LMS are you using? There are certain LMS that are known to have problem serving HTML5 content. Also, the content server inside the LMS can choose to send different responses based on the client being a desktop device or a mobile device.
What is the IOS version in the iPad? IOS6 is preferrable.
Can you please try the following?
    1. Instead of hosting the output in an LMS, try hosting the content in a local web server running on your machine. Mongoose is a quick and free option to try out (https://mongoose.googlecode.com/files/mongoose-tiny-4.1.exe) and then try accessing the same from iPad
    2. If that works, then we can start suspecting the LMS that you are using. If it still does not work, you can connect the iPad to a Mac machine's USB port. Launch Safari on the Mac machine. Make sure that the option to "Show Developer Menu" is turned on in Safari's preferences. From the develop menu, select the menu specific to the iPad device and webpage. You may have to open and close the develop menu in case your iPad is not listed in the menu. Once you select the iPad+page menu, a web-inspector window is opened. Open the console messages if not already open. Refresh the webpage in the iPad. Look at the console output messages in the web-inspector. Any errors or warnings encountered will be printed there. For example, network error messages might hint that the http request for the mp3 file was rejected by the server for some reason.
    3. If there are no messages in the console, audio does not play when published output is hosted in local webserver, then please share the published output. We can investigate why it does not work.
    Cheers
    Siva

  • CRVS2010 Beta - Printing does not work in Google Chrome

I 've run into an issue with printing crystal reports using Google Chrome. I've tested this on 4 different computers with the same result. When a user clicks print the printer dialog does not appear and the report will not print.
The version of Google Chrome tested is 6.0.472.63

ActiveX print works on IE. But I had to do a bunch of ActiveX and security configurations in IE (Using Server 2008) - allow ActiveX download, etc., etc.
PDF print mode does not work on my computer either. However I have the same build on this box as the public download. The latest internal build does print and export to pdf with no issues. So, I suspect this was a bug, but it is now resolved and should be OK at RTM.

  • Big mystery - simple animation now not work safari and chrome

A simple edge animation - basically a slide show with a start and stop button - which definitely worked some weeks ago with Chrome now does not work - nor with Safari.
    http://peachesincrime.com/swf/HardlyStrictlyBluegrass2012/HardlyStrictlyBluegrass2012.html
First thought is that both of those browsers have changed their scripting behavior and "so sorry Edge users"
But having noted that there is no fundamental difference between that and all the other animations on http://peachesincrime.com/underthehood.html I reduced the stage size from 1388 x 933 to 800x600 and it seems now to run. I have not yet ascertained what the top limit is.
Customer wants to maintain resolution or even increase it in the future to show images in full glory on retina screen resolutions.
Is this a problem with Edge and is there any way round this?
    thanks

I have updated the animation with images which match the stage size precisely. Initial testing suggests that it works now with chrome but so far on one machine tested, safari seems to run the animation but at at 1/20 the speed of the other browers.
for anyone interested in trying to figure what is causing all this I have moved the original faulty files referred to above to another folder http://peachesincrime.com/swf/HardlyStrictlyBluegrass2012-2/HardlyStrictlyBluegrass2012.ht ml

  • Bigpond Movie Plug-in not working on computer/ Chrome browser

Hello, I have just joined Bigpond Movies and installed a T-Box...so far all good. Rented my first movie last night. However, I was forced to leave the movie early, while leaving the movie running for rest of family. I wanted to catch up on the parts I missed last night by watching on my computer...of course !! The problem(s):1) No movie appeared in my rental tab of Bigpond Movies when I logged in via computer. However, movie was recorded as being rented in the billing tab and I was still within my 48 hours to watch and catch up.Is this normal? Has anyone else had this problem 2) Frustrated, I wanted to rent another movie>I was informed that to rent and watch I needed to download a Bigpond Movie Plug-in. I am using Chrome.I clicked download and the .exe program called widevine media optimizer was run. When I clicked Run, it failed to install 3 times.....I looked in crowdsupport and someone said download plug in directly from widevine website. I did and it installed successfully BUT I still get the Bigpond message to install the Bigpond Movie Plug-in. I restarted browser, I restarted computer and it still does not work. Does anyone have any suggestions from Telstra / Crowdsupport? Thanks

Jeff, Thank you for your reply. However, I still have the same problem. Widevine plugin does not seem to be recognised by Chrome nor Bigpond Movies.  It loaded as mentioned when I went to the widevine website and chose the correct plugin ie for Chrome. The program is in my MS control panel so I know it loaded correctly.  However, I still get the Bigpond Movie dialogue box to download the plugin ?? And I am not using a different browser. Today, I have attempted to do the same on my laptop and I have exactly the same symptoms ie first it fails to load when I am prompted by Bigpond Movie dialogue box. I go to the widevine website and download the plugin and it installs correctly. However, when I attempt to rent a movie I get the same Bigpond Movie dialogue box wanting me to download the plugin. So for now I am still stuck on both computers and not able to rent a movie I begin to suspect another plugin called silverlight from MS which was installed a few days ago when I attemtped to watch movies on computer from Netflix. Once downloaded, I was able to watch Netflix. Research under way.  It seems that this is not a unique problem but the answers are not clear. Best regards

  • Submit not working on Google Chrome OS

My forms (built with XI Pro) will not submit on Google Chrome OS.  Is are a list of other browser/operating systems that are going to give me a problem and are there any fixes.
    Thanks

I don't think you can reasonably expect Adobe to be the least interested in non-Adobe products. The job of any software company is to shift their own products, and that includes the free Reader. Indeed, the need to use Reader is considered a positive, desirable, feature I imagine, at least by marketing. Lack of platform support is another issue, but again, not one they will be very interested in. They hastened to drop support for Windows Vista, Unix and Linux, so a minority tablet is hardly going to interest them.
Consider Microsoft's Word format. Some apps and devices read Word files, and do a bad job of it. Does this diminish Microsoft Word? Should they mention it? I think not.
But, all that said, from the point of view of people intending to use PDFs for forms (rather than content delivery for display and print), the game has changed utterly and ever more rapidly in the last 2 years. One used to be able to say "Adobe Reader needed" and know it was more or less right, that there were a few rivals, but nothing widespread, and easy enough to tell people to use Reader. But what has happened is an explosion of non-Adobe PDF rivals, now so widespread that people just expect to use PDFs - complete victory for content delivery. But these rivals often interest themselves little in forms, leaving the user confused.
Consider the choices now. In browsers, Chrome and FireFox. In systems, Mac OS (Preview) and Windows 8 (Microsoft Reader). On tablets (iOS, Android and others) a built in PDF reader. Worse, in many cases, EVEN IF the user follows instructions to get Adobe Reader the existing app continues to win, by design. For instance on iOS you have to first open a PDF in the Apple app, and only then can you choose to open it in Adobe Reader - why would the user bother unless they are very motivated.
This has changed the position of PDF forms utterly, and for the worse. Still a good choice in closed systems (where someone can dictate hardware and software), but an increasingly questionable choice in the broader environment. To anyone considering PDF forms, I have to ask them - what is wrong with web forms? Often they have just decided (based on marketing and other perceptions) that PDF forms will be "easier". A key reason is that it seems like emailing the forms is going to be good, but this has never been more than a toy for testing. (After all, HTML can email forms too, but nobody does). I'm sure nobody dealing in medical stuff would consider emailing for a second, but it is certainly what 90% believe they can build a business solution on. So, as in all cases, it comes down to an experienced programmer producing a server solution.
