5.2 update does not send audio from video played via Apple TV to AirPlay-enabled speakers and devices or AirPort Express.

I just updated my Apple TV to release 5.2, which is supposed to give Apple TV the ability to "Send stereo audio from movies, TV shows, and other videos on Apple TV to AirPlay-enabled speakers and devices (including AirPort Express and other Apple TVs)." Problem is, this does not seem to be the case.
I have two AirPlay enabled devices:
1) Bose SoundLink Air
2) AirPort Express
In the Apple TV menu, I selected Settings, AirPlay, Bose SoundLink Air. I then played a video; the audio from the video played from my projector's speakers - not from the Bose speaker. I then went back to Apple TV's Settings/AirPlay and selected "Airport Express" (which connected via an aux cable to a speaker)...audio continued to play over my projector's speaker. I can, by the way, play audio on both the Bose and the speaker connected to the Airport Express if I select either of them from the AirPlay menu.
Am I doing something wrong, or is the 5.2 update not working as described?

No. But, are your speakers only connected to the AE or are they also connected to an amplifier?
You would need to use a Toslink cable to go from the Apple TV to the speakers/amp.

4.1 Bug - UN-Checking Movie does not stop it from being played!

A new 4.1 bug has been found. Previous to the software update if you unchecked a movie in the iTunes movie library, it didn't show up on ATV. Now it shows up as slightly "greyed out" and it can still be selected and PLAYED.
This causes sort of a parental control issue.
Hey Apple, How can you specify a movie so that it does not ever appear in the ATV Movie Menu, but remains in Itunes?

This is still an issue even after the latest (4.1.1) update. The Apple TV 2 developers are sleeping at the wheel or simply just don’t care.
Or perhaps they have limited resources. I'm sure Apple gets hundreds of bug reports and feature requests every day and those requests have to be prioritized based on the seriousness of the issue and how many users are affected by it.

Why won't my Macbook Pro Retina not hook up to Air Play Via Apple TV

So I want to hook up my laptop to the TV. Now Everything is up to date and my model is 2013 computer and the latest addition of the Apple TV Product. I have the top icon on my screen and click on my name, enter my password, but then it says it cannot connect. Now my internet is wireless at a campus, but other kids got it hooked up easy over wireless. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I went into settings trying to get rid of any blocks and home sharing is on, so I am stumped. Please Help!

Anyway no this problem is happening over multiple wifi net works, home and the two at the office and I tried one at my cell provider yesterday as well.

Audition does not recognize audio from Lifecam Cinema

I just connected my new cam but when I go into Audition's audio set up I cannot get it to work as the default input device. It is listed in the control panel as an input device but even when I move it to the top and check it the default input device designation is greyed out. Any ideas?

Are you running Vista? You might need to enable the device's audio input in the Sound Properties tool in Vista. (You can get there by right-clicking on the speaker icon in the Vista system tray, and selecting Properties.) Once enabled at the system level, Audition should be able to access it as an input.
That would be my first guess as to the problem, since Audition sees the device okay, but doesn't recognize any input channels. If that's not the case or if it still fails to work, please reply and we can continue to troubleshoot.

Is Exchange 2013 server added in the firewall rule to send communication over port 25?
Do you have use Front end proxy checkbox checked on the Send connector to internet that was created on 2013 (if created)?
If use front end proxy checkbox is checked, then you need to add permissions for your CAS server's IP in the Firewall for outbound port 25 rule. As it appears that the mail is originating from CAS to the firewall. If that checkbox is not checked, we need
to add the Mailbox server's IP on the outbound rule for port 25.

Sharepoint does not resolve users from federated AD directory

Our sharepoint farm resides in a domain called abc.com and we just federated with another domain def.com.
The issue is that 9 out of 10 times sharepoint does not resolve users from def.com when adding them using the normal GUI and people picker. Users from def.com domain will have to click on the url and request access before they can be added to the sharepoint.
Please can someone let me know what needs to be done so that sharepoint can resolve users from def.com domain using the people picker.

Do you have a two-way trust enabled? In that, case, it isn't required to use peoplepicker-searchadforests. If you do have a two way trust in place and SharePoint has port access to the remote domain controllers, does the remote domain NetBIOS and FQDN match
(e.g. EXAMPLE and EXAMPLE.com)?
As far as the credentials, you put in the remote domain's credentials, e.g. "forest:abc.com;forest:def.com,username,password" where the username is the sAMAccountName of a user in the remote domain.

Mail 10.8.3 not sending mail from intended account

Since upgrading from 10.8.2 to 10.8.3, my wife is having a new problem where Mail is not sending mail from the intended account.
She has 2 mail acocunts, and normally sends most e-mail from one of them. That mail account is set as the default to send messages from.
Now when she composes messages, it sends them from the other account, even if she has made certain that the pull-down choice of "send message as..." is set to the correct/desired mail account.
The only way she was able to stop this was to deactivate the other e-mail account in Mail's preferences.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Please click on the Mail > Prefrence > Account.
then click on the first account on the left side & Uncheck the option 'Use onlythis server'
repeat the step for the second account aswell.
this should fix your issue.
