Cannot build DVD menu because of Total menu size exceeds limit
Encore won't build my project when i compile it but when i do the check project it shows no error. It starts building and when half of it is done, the error appears and stops the compiling. I have tried reducing the size of all my videos and putting them in MPEG-2 DVD format but it didn't change anything. Since the check feature doesn't see the errors i'm thinking it must be some glitch and i would like to know how to get passed it.
Anyone knows how i can fix this ?It's not Encore, but the DVD-spec. that is standing in the way. The complete Menuing of the DVD may not span a .VOB, which is ~ 1GB in size. The only course of action is to find ways to trim your Menus and their navigation to below that 1GB limit - the max size of the first .VOB in the Project.
This is for the Menus and all of their Assets, and not the rest of your Project's MPEG-2 files. Those can span several .VOB's.
Please tell us more about your Menus, their number, any Motion/Audio, etc. There might be some suggested methods for trimming those in the details. The more details, the easier it will be for someone to give suggestions that will only lightly impact your Project, and let you get to Burning.
Good luck, and we'll be looking for those details on everything regarding your Menus.

We have been using weblogic to serve the jnlp for a while now (there is a servlet that generates jnlp and sends to client) without any problems. Yesterday the following error occurred for the first time and the server stopped working. Does anyone have a clue as to in which situation can the header size exceed this limit? After restarting the server, it started working properly again.
weblogic.socket.MaxMessageSizeExceededException: [Incoming HTTP request headers of size 4129 bytes exceeds the configured maximum of 4096 bytes]
at weblogic.socket.MuxableSocketHTTP.incrementBufferOffset(MuxableSocketHTTP.java:111)
at weblogic.socket.JavaSocketMuxer.processSockets(JavaSocketMuxer.java:245)
Thanks. My first reaction was that if you are using version protocol, and if you had many versions of some resources in the cache, maybe the request from java web start kept growing with each version.
http://xxx.com/yyy/zzz.jar version="1.9"¤t_version="1.1"¤t_version="1.2"¤t_version="1.3"...
but in that case can't see how restarting the server would help.

Hello ,
i hope i become an answer to this problem:
we use C600 Machines , and every time a msg size is exceeded
the customer becomes a Notification that your msg size is exceeded.
BUT i cant see any entry in Ironport Log files
ONLY this:
New SMTP ICID xxxxxxxx
ICID xxxxxxxx RELAY SG CUSTOMER match IP .....
ICID xxxxxxxx close
is there any possibility in this case , that i see msg's in Logfiles ?
THX in advance
buzzI believe both of these happen on the IronPorts, it depends more on the sending MTA than the recieving IronPort.
It all depends on if the sending MTA honors the EHLO SIZE limit feature and does not attempt a message larger than the advertize max. In this case you have a simple ICID xxx close, because the sending MTA did not hit the size limit it simply closes the connection and generated a NDR to the sender saying the message size was beyond what the recieving MTA would accept before it even attempted to send the message.
Second case is when the sending MTA does not use the EHLO SIZE limit feature and sends the message forcing the IronPort to hard reject the message once it hit the max size limit, hence the ICID xxx Receiving Failed: Message size exceeds limit. Same NDR gets generated, but after the wasted bandwidth. :(

I can no longer access Bejeweled Blitz through facebook. I get the message, "your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit". I can access Bejeweled through FB using my husband's log in so to me that suggests the problem is with my log in. Help please.
Contact FB or use another browser.

Upgraded to Firefox 5.0.1 yesterday. No, after logging on to firefox, which takes me to my comcast page and when I try to get
my e-mail I get this message "your browser sent a request this server could not understand. Size of request header field exceeds server limit" Then it says something about "cookies" I also tried to connect to other sites and get similar messages. Just to let you know I am not a guru, and 80 years old, but I did not have this problem with the previous version. Question, why are the headers repeated? Could that be the problem???This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites (e.g. comcast) that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies" -
Cookie - Bad Request - Size of a request header field exceeds server limit -
We are on cq5.5. We see this error intermittently. What is the best way to fix this? Cookie size seems to be adding to the issue.

File daycare for fp 2324 where in you can configure & allow you to increase the request header size and avoid the bad request error OR for a package that improves client side persistence & does not use cookies.

Purchasing Ability to Exceed Message/Attachment Size Limit
Is it possible to purchase the ability to exceed the message/attachment size limit on iCloud? I keep running into it when I need to send out PDF image files.
I'm afraid not.

Hallo
As I see, I have common problem among the Sun Messaging Server administrators. I have whole system distributed on several virtual solaris machines and some days ago emerged message size problem. I noticed it in relation with incoming mail. When I create new user, he or she can't get larger mail then 300K. Sender get will known message:
This message is larger than the current system limit or the recipient's mailbox is full. Create a shorter message body or remove attachments and try sending it again.
<server.domain.com #5.3.4 smtp;552 5.3.4 a message size of 302 kilobytes exceeds the size limit of 300 kilobytes computed for this transaction>
Interesting thin is, that this problem arised with no correlation with other actions. I noticed this problem with new users before, but i could successful manage it with different service packs. Now this method with new users, this method doesn't work! Old users normally recieve messages bigger then 300k, as before.
I tried to set default setting blocklimit 2000 in imta.cnf, but I didn't succeed.
I know, that size limit can be set on different places, but is there a simple way, to set sending and recieving message size unlimited?
Messaging server version is:
Sun Java(tm) System Messaging Server 7u2-7.02 64bit (built Apr 16 2009)*
libimta.so 7u2-7.02 64bit (built 03:03:02, Apr 16 2009)*
Using /opt/sun/comms/messaging64/config/imta.cnf (compiled)*
SunOS mailstore 5.10 Generic_138888-01 sun4v sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise-T5120*
Regards
MatejFor the sake of correctness, the attribute name in LDAP is mailMsgMaxBlocks.
I also stumbled upon this - the values like 300 blocks or 7000 blocks are set in (sample) service packages but are not advertised in Delegated Admin web-interface. When packages are assigned, these values are copied into each user's LDAP entry as well, and can not be seen or changed in web-interface.
And then mail users get "weird" errors like:
550 5.2.3 user limit of 7000 kilobytes on message size exceeded: [email protected]
or
550 5.2.3 user limit of 300 kilobytes on message size exceeded: [email protected]
resulting in
<[email protected]>... User unknown
or
552 5.3.4 a message size of 7003 kilobytes exceeds the size limit of 7000 kilobytes computed for this transaction
or
552 5.3.4 a message size of 302 kilobytes exceeds the size limit of 300 kilobytes computed for this transaction
resulting in
Service unavailable
I guess there are other similar error messages, but these two are most common.
I hope other people googling up the problem would get to this post too ;)
One solution is to replace the predefined service packages with several of your own, i.e. ldapadd entries like these (fix the dc=domain,dc=com part to suit your deployment, and both cn parts if you rename them), and restart the DA webcontainer:

If your deployment uses other SMTP components, like milters to check for viruses and spam, in/out relays separate from Sun Messaging, other mailbox servers, etc. make sure to use a common size limit.
For sendmail relays sendmail.mc (m4) config source file it could mean lines like these:
define(`SMTP_MAILER_MAX', `20480000')dnl
define(`confMAX_MESSAGE_SIZE', `20480000')dnl

Incoming message size exceeds the configured maximum size for protocol t3
Hi All,
I've encountered an error as follow:
weblogic.socket.MaxMessageSizeExceededException: Incoming message of size 50004000 bytes exceeds the configured maximum of 50000000 bytes of protocol t3.
But the request message is only 3MB, why it is enlarged to over 50M?
There is a For Each loop section in main flow, is it because for one loop, there will be a copy of request message?
How to enlarge message size for protocol t3?
Go to server/protocol and change 'Maximum Message Size' for AdminServer, OSB Servers and SOA servers?
Thanks and Regards,
BruceHi,
1) After setting -Dweblogic.MaxMessageSize to 25000000

2) After setting -Dweblogic.MaxMessageSize to 50000000
<BEA-000403> <IOException occurred on socket: Socket[addr=ac-sync-webserver2/172.24.128.9,port=9040,localport=59925]
weblogic.socket.MaxMessageSizeExceededException: Incoming message of size: '50000400' bytes exceeds the configured maximum of: '50000000' bytes for protocol:
't3'.
And even after setting various values for -Dweblogic.MaxMessageSize , issue weblogic.socket.MaxMessageSizeExceededException was observed.
To overcome the issue set Manual Service Migration Only as after several experiments and replicating the issue it was found out that in case of no available pinned services, must set the migration policies of the migratable targets on "Manual Service Migration Only".
And once it is corrected; it was noticed that weblogic.socket.MaxMessageSizeExceededException issue also resolved.
WebLogic Server can fail over most services transparently, but it's unable to do the same when dealing with pinned services.
Pinned Services : JMS and JTA are considered as pinned services. They're hosted on individual members of a cluster and not on all server instances.
You can have high availability only if the cluster can ensure that these pinned services are always running somewhere in the cluster.
When a WebLogic Server instance hosting these critical pinned services fails, WebLogic Server can't support their continuous availability and uses migration instead of failover to ensure that they are always available.

exec sdo_net.spatial_partition('ITALIA_SPAZIO', 'ITA_SPAZIO_P_TABLE', 5000, 'LOAD_DIR', 'sdlod_part.log', 'w', 1);
exec sdo_net.spatial_partition('ITALIA_SPAZIO', 'ITA_SPAZIO_P_TABLE', 60000, 'LOAD_DIR', 'sdlod_part.log', 'w', 2);

exec sdo_net.generate_partition_blobs('ITALIA_SPAZIO', 2, 'ITA_SPAZIO_P_BLOBS_TABLE', true, true, 'LOAD_DIR', 'sdlod_part_blob.log', 'w', false, true);
Then I try with a single level network but I got the same error.
Please can samebody help me?I find the solution to this problem.
In the LODConfig.xml file I have:
<readPartitionFromBlob>true</readPartitionFromBlob>
<partitionBlobTranslator>oracle.spatial.network.lod.PartitionBlobTranslator11g</partitionBlobTranslator>
but when I change it to
<readPartitionFromBlob>true</readPartitionFromBlob>
<partitionBlobTranslator>oracle.spatial.network.lod.PartitionBlobTranslator11gR2</partitionBlobTranslator>
The application starts without the obove mentioned error. -
OBI 11g Error : exceeds an entry's the maximum size soft limit 256
Hi All,
I am getting a Warning in EM as below:
Adding property Desc with value "+report description+". exceeds an entry's the maximum size soft limit 256. There are 333 bytes in this property for item /shared/folder/_portal/dashboardname
It happens only when, if we provide a long description text (>256 bytes) for a report in the 'Description' box while saving the report.
Do you have any ideas why it is happening and what can be done to remove this warning.
An parameter needs to be changed..??
Obi version 11.1.1.5.0
box : UnixWe tried that...
But most of the dashboards/reports have been migrated from 10g and the reports are being built by Users not Dev team, adding their own description to report.
I need to know ... if there is any parameter which can fix that... -
The full error is: There was an error opening this document. The file size exceeds the limit allowed and cannot be saved.
I didn't think Reader had a size limit? The file is only a couple of hundred MB.
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this error?
-Richard.Is that an online document, or a local one?

Routeserver-java.lang.OutOfMemoryError:Requested array size exceeds VM limi
Well,
When I started to try running routeserver, I was using "false" in <param-name>long_ids</param-name> (web.xml). When I tried to use "true", an OutOfMemoryError error was occuring. Now I know that "false" is wrong. So, I walked a bit more...
The error now is:

DanielWell,
I am using Router from 11g. The web.xml from 10g does not have logs_id parameter and servlet mapping.... May I add logs_id parameter in web.xml?
Here we have contract with oracle. But I could NOT find any thing about patchs for routeserver... I am downloading "configuration manager" to update my metalink. Could you tell me tip about where are routeserver patchs?
Tks a lot,
Daniel
