I updated to 5.4 without any problem anyone. Running windows 7 home premium 64 bit Lightroom 5.4 64 bit

Thanks Hal but I have solved the problem.
I initially downloaded the update using Firefox and changing to another browser solved the problem.
It appears that the downloaded file "Lightroom_5_LS11_win_5_5.exe" is a self extracting zip file and for reasons that I do not understand windows interpreted the Firefox download as an standard executable file and threw a hissing fit.
Version 5.5 now running.

I am using Windows 7 and trying to download iTunes, but when I try to open the iTunes set up it gives an error message saying that it is not a "valid win32 application". It does the same for downloading quicktime. I have no idea what this means or what to do about it.

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

I am creating the Cubes with couple of dimensions. My backend is Oracle. I can able to deploy the cube in my local machine which is running 32 Bit Windoes 7 OS. But when I try to deploy the cube in another server which is running Windows 2003 R2 64 bit OS,
returns "OLE DB error: OLE DB or ODBC error: %1 is not a valid Win32 application" this error. The driver whic I am using to connect the Oracel DB is "Native OLE DB\Oracle Provider for OLE DB". I have also installed the Oracle 10g 32 bit client in my machine.
Any solution for this issue?

What's the specific version of your SQL Server? Please try to install the latest Service Pack on 64bit box to see if this help.

If you have security software (antivirus, firewall etc.) you can try to temporarily disable it for a few minutes, visit a safe site (e.g. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird), download and check. Please also see [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firewalls#Firewall_pitfalls this].
If it works you can then try deleting all existing instances of Firefox and its related processes/files in all the different configuration modules/areas of the security software like process monitoring, sub/spawned process control, virtualization, HIPS etc., in addition to the security software's main configuration panel. I have StarOffice 8 update 11 on a PC running Windows XP. Every time I try to open any StarOffice file from my file manager, I get the error " <filename> is not a valid Win32 application." But I can open the file fine when I do it from within StarOffice, or straight from my email. I cannot figure out how to fix this so that I can launch a StarOffice file from my file manager. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!

You can look for / identify missing or corrupted Operating System files by running the System File Checker Utility.
Type sfc /scannow in the Run window, and press Enter.

I'm having some serious problems with installing iTunes on my laptop. I have searched and searched the internet and can not find any solution to my problem. I am receiving the error "itunes is not a valid win32 application' after the program finishes downloading. Sometimes however it will just stop in the middle of the download. I use a SONY VAIO VGN-NW25GF which was only purchased last year. It uses windows 7. I had trouble downloading itunes to begin with though eventually it worked, however since the new 10.1 update has been available ive been attempting to update it almost every time i use itunes. Each and every time it fails and i've had enough as i need to update my iphone software. I’ve since uninstalled both itunes and quicktime hoping it will reinstall properly. But nothing, the same problem is occurring and now i have no itunes program!
I've tried all the solutions online about deleting browing history/temp folder and any itunessetup.exe/quicktimesetup.exe files and nothing works. I've also tried downloading using a different browser and still nothing. I’ve done a virus scan, disk cleanup and disk defragment and NOTHIGN is working. When trying to open documents, getting error as File is not a valid Win32 application

Hi,
I am trying to open a MPP by clicking on the name of the file. But I am getting the error as "path\filename.mpp is not a valid Wind32 application".
I am able to save the document and open it in MPP, but clicking on the document name is giving this error "File is not a valid Win32 application".
I have tried to repair "Microsoft Project". But still the same issue. I am using Office 2010. SharePoint site is SP 2010.
How to fix this?

I uninstalled Project 2007 and rebooted my laptop and reinstalled Project 2007. No Difference at all. Same thing happened. I just couldn't stop thinking about how 2007 Microsoft Office Component kept showing up in default programs. This has bugged me for days.
I went browsing in my program files. I typed in Microsoft Office Project. The only thing I found was WINPROJ. I decided to check it out. I checked it's properties, size, location, etc.. What did I have to lose at this point? I clicked on it and it went into
my default programs as Microsoft Office Project 2007. This doesn't make any sense to me. But, don't try to fix anything else if it isn't broken, right? It's working and I am so relieved. I mean, YAAAAY!!! Another mystery solved...

Please help if you can, because I am new to computers. I have downloaded itunes (setup), which is only 11 meg, but it should of been 56 meg. When I click on it now, it say's run, then itunes setup exe is not a valid win 32 application.
