5 iTunes Accounts Limit on iPod
After creating a 6th iTunes account within our family I've discovered that iTunes store content from only 5 accounts can be synced to a single iPod (we all have our seperate accounts on a single computer and share downloaded content). In order to get back to 5 accounts, is it possible to merge 2 iTunes Store accounts into 1, so that we can stay within the 5 account limit without losing any content which has already been downloaded? Thanks.
No you can't merge songs from different iTunes accounts.

Next, I've gotten this "limit" message on my daughters new iPod. We let her create her own account now that she is older. She bought some videos all at the same time on the same night. All of them loaded except one. When I tried to load it manually I got the same message. It is her account, it is a newly purchased video and it isn't loaded anywhere except in our iTunes Library. We can watch it in iTunes no problem but she can't load it on her iPod (3rd generation nano).

An account means an iTunes Store account which is an online service. Do you mean that, or do you mean a library on a computer?
iOS devices can only be synced to one iTunes library at a time. You can sync that iPod to your account but it will wipe everything currently on it.

If you use manual syncing, you can sync items from more than one iTunes library to your iPod. (You can sync iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad with only one iTunes library.) I could post another 2 pages of stuff trying to cover every possible scenario. It would help if you let us know exactly what you want to do. Are you trying to sync just a few songs (like giving them to a friend which is something iTunes is deliberately set up not to do)? -
My Company has recently issued company ipads. I currently havea iMac for personal use in which I have an iTunes account. Is there a way to down load all the music I have on my iMac itunes account to my iPod as well? Also will I be notified on email when I have a response to my questions? Thanks for your response!

hello, i already have an itunes account on my ipod and now im trying to download it on my computer after i did, i was trying to listen/download to a song and it said that i must authorize mmy computer, i have windows 8 computer and i think it is different. please help me because i have looked this question up before and i couldnt do it.
If you are asking how to authorise your iTunes account on that computer, then you do so via the Store drop-down menu at the top of iTunes (pressing Alt-S should get the Store menu to appear) - this screenshot is from a Mac, but it should be fairly similar on windows 8 :

I can sign in fine into itunes on my pc. They are both connected to the same wifi network at home.Hard to say without knowing what "error code pops up".

Are you wanting to delete it all or just certain tracks and content?
If it's the latter...
How you delete content from your iPod depends on how it is set up to receive content from your iTunes library whether that be via automatic syncing or manual management.
For automatic syncing, you must reconfigure your settings so that the album/tracks/content you wish to remove is no longer configured to sync to your iPod. For example, if the Sync only checked songs and videos option is enabled from under the iPod's Summary tab, make sure all the tracks for this album do NOT have a tick mark next to them in your iPod. Then resync your iPod with iTunes.
If that isn't the case, you'll want to look at the iPod's Music configuration tab. You can access this tab by selecting your iPod under Devices. This should bring you to theSummary tab over to the right. Look for the Music tab along the top and select it. Here you can configure how and what music syncs to your device. If you make any changes to this tab, be sure to hit the Apply button in the lower right hand corner to sync the updated changes to your device.
Otherwise, if you manually manage your iPod's contents, you must manually remove content from it. You can do this by plugging your iPod in and clicking the small black triangle next to your iPod from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes. This will open up a submenu of content that is indented underneath the name of your device, so go ahead and click on Music (or whatever content you are wanting to remove). Locate the track or tracks/content you wish to delete. Highlight them and hit the Delete key or choose Edit -> Delete.

Itunes account different on ipod?
So I was given an ipod touch. My friend bought a bunch of apps (paid and free) and the apple store person put the apps in the ipod for her. Now I'm trying to update the apps but I can't because somebody else's itunes account is signed in to the ipod touch. I created an itunes account and tried syncing the ipod but it didn't work. I didn't do 'sync applications' because I have no applications in my itunes library (my friend bought all the apps) Is there any way I can reset the itunes account on the ipod touch and make those purchased apps belong to my account? I can't ask my friend to ask the apple store person because I've gone back to my home country.. help?
The only way to get the purchased apps to "belong to my account," is to buy them. Obviously, there will be no charge for the free ones.

I have one itunes account.
1 iphone and 1 ipod
Im scared to sync my ipod to my itunes as ive already synced my iphone to it and i dont want to loose all info on my ipod.
i want ALL the songs to be put in both my iphone and ipod.. (as i recently changed computers not all my songs are on the one computer)

connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
To begin with, I would like to try to explain Apple's confusing nomenclature in regard to iCloud.
Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud too.
You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photostream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.
So yes, you can use a separate iCloud account on each iPod and a single iTunes account on both of them.
