5 Medical collections removed w/ credit repair company UPDATE

So I just joined {Mod cut} on May 12, 2015 and they have been helping me get some derogatory items off my report. I checked credit karma earlier and it shows that 5 items with the same collection agency have been removed from my transunion and equifax. These items are from 2011. My question is- are these removals legit? Why is credit karma reporting the deletes, but not myfico?? UPDATE:Fast forward to June 15th, less than one month of membership, below are my removals: Transunion: 7 collection accounts removed; 5 inquiries removed (3 from this month and the others are under a year) Equifax: 5 collection accounts removedExperian: 5 collection accounts removed Have not seen any major score increases, but i am optimistic

. I agree with gdale6. I tried using a credit repair company, and all they do is dispute valid debts that are usually re-sold to a different collection agency....and it re-surfaces on the report under a new collection company. Some items I was lucky to have permanently removed, but other items just re-appeared....it is like a coin toss and my scores constantly flucuated because of it.
I learned the hard way....I'm glad I paid the majority of them off, and many were happy to delete the item also. I would call at the end of the month when I know that they are trying to meet a quota. I would negotiate my lowest that I would be willing to pay, and we would go from there. It feels much better knowing that I don't have to worry if the debt will re-surface.

Help with removing/deleting medical collection!

Hello!! I am new to this forum and I am so glad that I found it. The wealth of information shared on this site is remarkable. Thank You All!!! I am looking for guidance with removing/deleting a medical collection from my CR. I researched the HIPPA process and guidelines (which I know cannot be discussed on this site) but I have not heard back from the creator. My question is has anyone had success with removing a medical collection without using the HIPPA process? If so, can you please share your strategy with me? The CA is Sav-it Enterprises in NJ and the amount owed is $300 from 2011 and I am willing to pay in full, today, in order to get it deleted. I sent them a pay for delete letter and they sent me the statement from the doctor's office and updated the account with the CRA. However, I did notice that the date of first delinquency is incorrect, if that even matters. I don’t know what I should do now or how I should move forward with getting it deleted. Any information you can share with me will be extremely helpful. This is the only remaining collection account that I have and I need it removed in order to increase my scores to qualify for a mortgage. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I do have proof that they date is incorrect - its off by 1 year. Also, the billing statement they sent me shows the date as 2011 but they are reporting it as 2012. I also have explanation of benefits from my insurance provider which confirms that date as 2011. Okay. I will call them today to offer full payment and then send a GW letter shortly after paying. I really hope it works because I really need to get this removed.

Remove a credit card from Azure billing (not cancel account)

I have a PAYG subscription and have added a second credit card for payment. I would now like to remove the first credit card but there is no option to do this. How can I remove a credit credit card?
Note: Unlike similar questions here I do not wish to cancel or delete my subscription/services.

Thank you for your email.
The card cannot be removed until it is associated as a default payment method to the MSDN Visual Studio Premium Subscription ID:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. So first you need to add another company credit card to the Azure Account and Subscription by following the steps below:
Steps to add a new credit card
Login in to https://account.windowsazure.com
using the account owner Live ID.
Click on “Account” tab.
Now click on the “Subscriptions” tab.
Select the subscription that you want to edit.
Click on ‘Change Payment Method’
Click on '+' sign next to Credit Card to add a new card.
Enter the Credit Card Number, Name on Card, Expiration Date and CVV number
Click on Next to complete the process.      
Once the new card is added then you need to remove your card from the Azure Account
Login to commerce.microsoft.com
using your account administrator credentials.
Select Payment Options.
Select the credit card which you want to remove and click on
remove.

If the option to select "None" isn't appearing when you attempt to edit your payment information, then there is likely a billing issue with your last iTunes Store purchase(iTunes didn't receive payment from your credit card company for that order). Before you can remove your credit card, you have to pay for the unpaid order. You can call your credit card company and troubleshoot the billing issue with them, or try another card, or if you live in a country that supports iTunes Gift Cards, you can redeem one of those to pay for the order. Once you have done that, you should be able to remove your credit card info as outlined in http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1918

I am having the same problem. When I to remove a stored credit card from the Skype app I get an error indicating I am not connected to the internet even tho I am. When I try to do it from the website I get an error saying that Skype is not available on my device, even tho I am on the internet with my PC.
Why the hell wont they fix this problem? I dont want Skype storing my CC info anymore, but they seem determined to do so. No response from the company either after complaints of this for over a week. What kind of Mickey mouse operation are they running over there.
If this doesnt get fixed or I dont get a response by tomorrow I am gonna call Skype out on the tech blogs for comprimising my private payment information

Best way to handle medical collections?

Hello all, My husband and I are new to the "rebuilding your credit" world. We're coming back from a foreclosure and actively trying to rebuild. I have 4 active collections for 3 creditors listed on my EQ/TU report - totally $399. I can pay them in full right now but I don't want to call the creditors to pay them if its not going to be removed from my reports properly. Some of these are old - 2011. I also have 3 collections "removed" from my TU/EQ report since March - will paying these affect what is listed on my reports?
What is the best way to handle these accounts to ensure they are removed from my reports completely?

Contact each creditor and politely request a Pay for Deletion - agreement they will delete from your reports in exchange for full payment. Get this in writing. If that doesn't work (try a few times), pay it, then try the goodwill route -- write letters requesting early deletion of the entries from your reports. Even though negative items will fall off your report in 7 years (so the 2011 collection will fall off in 2018), you will still have to report that you have unpaid debt on future mortgage applications, etc. And on a manual review, paid collections look better than unpaid ones. I would not advise not paying them at all.

After removing my payment info, why can't I remove the credit card type

How can I completely remove all of my payment information? I already removed all of my info but can't seem to remove the credit card type (Visa, MasterCard, etc.). After removing the info I am able to, I click Done and then in red letters the words, "There's a billing problem with a previous purchase. Please update your payment method." pop out. I don't know what to do. Can someone help me please?

That message implies that iTunes wasn't able to collect the payment for your last purchase i.e. that you owe iTunes money - until that is paid off you won't get the 'none' option, or be able to download anything from the store (including redownloading and app updates). If the card that you had on you account isn't been accepted by iTunes then do you have a different card that you can put on, or are iTunes gift cards available in your country, so that you can pay what iTunes thinks that you owe ?

Medical Collection Question...

Hello allI have a question to do with medical collection: I ask the billing office of where all the medical bills stem from for charity care. I was asked to send them a letter and explain my situation to them I did and they forgave my debt. The question is The hospital Approval letter says: "Your request for uncompinsated services has been approved 100%. This is a one time benefit. Our assistance program does not cover other providers such as physicans, Anestesiology or Radiology, you may want to discuss this assitance approval with your other providers.". On the bottom of the letter it says blah blah about if you need to appeal there decision, then it says This application for assistance remains on records for 6 months, if you have additional care needs please contact financial counciling for assistance. NO WHERE on this approval does it say from the hospital billing office anything about a 2 yr time frame. When I called the collection agency they even said there isnt dates for deletions of bills and this was in review in the colleciton agency office. They did get sent from the hospital 4 bills which were deleted off report the next week. There are 5 remaining. One of the 4 falls within the 2 yrs that is assumed the only date on this letter is on the top of when they sent it to me June 25, 2015. I called the colleciton agency and told them there was a bill they missed that is on my CR, its dated Sep 2013. They then said they dont see that in there system, I called the hospital and told them of one of the bills, they dont see it either. So I called back the CA and she told me to dispute it with the credit report agencys, I have dont that on the 18th of this month. Of course I opened pandoras box by disputing which the colleciton told me to do, they sent me a bill with 5 collections I owe for the hospital bills. So Because they didnt put a "we will forgive 2 yrs of debt" on the letter or is it automatic with medical collections. All 3 have the disputes in so far havent heard anything on that. (All-smalls is only slightly less annoying, as it's difficult to read. Alan Cox can get away with it, but you can't.)
More generally, if you write like a semi-literate b o o b you will very likely be ignored. So don't use instant-messaging shortcuts. Spelling "you" as "u" makes you look like a semi-literate b o o b to save two entire keystrokes.

All downloads from iTunes are tied to the account that downloaded it, you can't re-download content via a different account. You checked the spam folder on yourr old account as well as the Inbox, and depending upon how long ago you did it, have you retried getting it reset : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password' ?

Depending on how you created your account, "None" may or may not be an option. I believe it has something to do with whether the account was made through an App Store request or the regular iTunes Store. For example, my account allows no card but my father's doesn't allow there to be no card.
To change the card, go to your account settings and change the information to your new card, and hit save.
