5 year old erased my games :(
So, my bad. My 5 year old was playing with my 4G Itouch and has deleted some of my games. I didn't notice right away, so it probably happened a few syncs ago. The app still shows up in my itunes library, but there is no option that I can find to put it back on my ipod. I have an HP PC running windows 7. Is there a way to do this? Thanks for any info...
U can either redownload them (free of charge, it will say "you've already bought this, are you sure you want to download this again?") or when your ipod is connected to itunes you can drag the app to the ipod from ur library! Hope this helps!

Your six year old likely purchased in-app purchases. Did you not disable in app purchases?

You can set up your device to require a password for purchase from the app store either immediately or after 15 minutes of being previously used. (Settings > General > Restrictions > Allowed Content > Require Password)
More often than not this stops unwanted purchases by others, but does not stop In-App purchases, to disable In-App purchases, go to Settings > General > Restrictions > Allowed Content > In-App Purchases > Off. -
Using old iPod Video games on new iPod Classic?

I bought several games for my old iPod Video (don't know what generation it was but it was about two years old). These games include Mini Golf and Zuma. My old iPod broke, so I recently purchased an iPod Classic. When I connected it to sync to my computer, these two games and iQuiz did not show up in the games tab of the iPod sync list. I have read things about older iPod games not working on newer models, but these games are still available from the iTunes store and are said to be compatible with the Classic. So my questions are:
1. Why do my older iPod games not work with my new iPod, though the same games are still available to be bought in iTunes and are said to be compatible?
2. Is there something I could do to make them appear in the sync list?
3. If I were to buy these games again from the iTunes store, would they work on my new iPod? Is there some kind of update that happened to them that render the old versions useless on my new iPod?

The earlier releases of the games were not designed to be forward compatible to a newer iPod that hadn't been designed at the time they were written. The new versions currently available in the store are explicty designed to work on both the 5th & 6th gen. iPods and 3rd & 4th gen. nanos. They won't work on the iPod Touch or iPhone should you ever get one.

Yes, the iPod got updated making it incompatible will the older versions of the games.

When my 6 year old daughter plays the free games that I have downloaded for her IPAD and IPOD, I am now getting upgrade charges on these free games to my AMEX Card. Why is this happening and how do I get my AMEX card off of the IPAD and IPOD?
She is making in app purchases. Probably not knowing what that means to your monthly credit card bill. Use the Settings app to enable restrictions and turn on restrictions for iTunes, App Store and in app purchases, mabe some others too. The restrictions will be set with a passcode to prevent your daughter from changing them.

I have an 8 year old eMac G3. It will not start up. I need to erase it before putting it in recycling. Apple refuses to open the case and warns me that I will be shocked if I even try. They say no way to erase hard drive. They say use a hammer. Any ideas?

I have so many charges that just came in this morning, I have tried multiple times to get in touch w/ Apple by chat, online and phone with absolutely NO LUCK. I purchased a stupid game for my 5 year old, but somehow I have $300 in charges this morning.. Who can I get in touch with? I thought that you needed additional authorization to charge anything else? If I cannot get help, I will cancel all of our iTunes and everyone can buy a gift certificate with $10 on it for all future use.

You can turn off in-app purchases on your iPad via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and depending upon what version of iOS that you have on it you may have a Require Password option on the Restrictions screen that you can set to 'Immediately' (there is a default 15 minutes during which it doesn't need to be re-entered). -

Do you have access to another Mac to see if the disk can be read by it? If it can't then you're pretty sure it's the disk. If it can then there may be issues with your optical drive which might be cleared up by using a cleaning disk on it, one that uses dry brushes (no liquid).
If you have access to another Mac and it can read the iWork disk make a disk image of it so you can move the disk image to your iMac and install from the disk image.

I just noticed all my calendars over a year old have been erased. They used to be there. How do I get them back?
Not sure if this will help, but if you are syncing your calendar with iCloud try going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...scroll down to the Calendars section and tap Sync, then select All Events.
