50.2F.00 fuser error

I have a LaserJet M4555 MFP with a fuser error code of 50.2F.00.  The screen says to turn it off, then back on and if the issue persists, to call a tech.  Well, I have tried turning it off and back on.  I tried booting it without the network cable.  I even replaced the fuser.  And I still have the error. Any ideas on how to fix it without throwing parts at it?

This is a low or no temp error. If the fuser has indeed been replaced with a known working fuser and still have the same error, then the next step to to check all the connections for the fuser as indicated below:
W = 2: Reconnect the connectors (J53, J54 and J82) on the DC controller PCA.
3. Replace the fuser.
4. W = 2: Reconnect the connector (J62) on the low-voltage power supply PCA.
5. If the error persists, replace the low-voltage power supply.

  • Fuser Error

I have a CP1518ni, that has only been used lightly for two months. It was brand new in October and was not used after December 2009. There is now a "fuser error" that won't reset after following all the tips in the support site. So far. we have tried the power off, then off again for 30 mins. Tried plugging directly into the wall. Tried a different room, and still the same error. the troubleshooting tree says contact support, so here I am.

50.1 error message indicates a fuser under-temperature error. The fuser did not reach the correct operating temperature during the warm up process causing a 50.1 error. This could indicate a problem with the power source or it could be paper stuck in the fuser if the 50.1 error follows a paper jam.

    Hi,
I work in a firm, we have around 60 or 70 4350s. I've got one priner which returned a 50.2 Fuser Error, so I replaced the fuser. A few days later and the error is back.
I have taken a fuser out of another printer and placed it in for now, but I'm half expecting this one to go wrong in a couple days now.
Is there anything which could be casuing the printer to damage the fusers?
    Thanks,

    Hi jb2012d,
The product has experienced an error with the fuser unit. If you are using a surge protector, remove it. Plug the product directly into the wall socket. Turn the product power on. If you still receive the message follow the steps below.
    1. Turn the product power off, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn the product power on and wait for it to initialize. If you still have the messages continue with next step.
    2. Turn off the product, wait at least 25 minutes, and then turn on the product.
    3. If the message persists, contact HP support.

  • 50.7 fuser error

I receive the 50.7 fuser error message. We have followed the guidelines found in the blog. Plug directly into wall, unplug and wait 30 minutes, even waited 24 hours, etc.
When plugged back in error message disappears and we can print a few times and then error message reappears.it seems to print fine until the error message appears.
What can be done to fix this permanently?

    Hi @Swahealy ,
I see that you keep getting a fuser error. It will print a few times and then the error comes back again. I would be happy to help you.
This error message refers to the printer having experienced an internal hardware error.
This is probably the document you have already tried to resolve this issue. A 'Fuser Error' Displays on the Computer, and the Printer Does Not Print.
The only other information I could find for this fuser error, is after getting the error, to turn the printer turned Off for 3 mins and then turn it back ON to see if the printer will resume printing.
If the issue persists, unfortunately the printer will need to be serviced.
If you need further assistance, please let me know the following information.
What is the full name and product number of your printer? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)

  • Problem With HPLaserJetP1102w: Fuser Error

I recently bought the HP LaserJet P1102w and in the beginning it worked perfectly. I printed something last Wednesday but when I got home yesterday, my printer didn't work and i get a hardware error. It claims to be a fuserfault. Is there anything I can do? I tried removing the toner and placing it back. I tried to unplug everything and plug things back in, i tried reinstalling the printer. Nothing seems to work. I have no idea what went wrong. Nothing I do seems to help. The printer is brand new and I only printed three times with it. Please tell me there is a solution

    Hello Lilly777,
The fuser will fix your toner to the media (paper), this is done with some heat. It might be a power related issue, in case there is not 'enough' power to reach a specific temperature.
Please check this document: "The Printer Will Not Turn On or Respond" - Solution two and four. Just to be sure everything is fine with the power supply.
Another option would be Restoring the Factory Default Settings.
    Hope this help.

  • Hp 8100 fuser error 50 service

If you change a fuser in the 8100 and the problem comes right back, still getting 50 service error. I found that the problem is the low voltage power supply, it is connected to the fuser and if just changing the furser doesn't work, this is the problem, the book will tell you dc controller, but it is definately the low voltage power supply, seems to be a common problem with 8100's. I've had this repair happen in the field on countless occasions.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    Hi lazrprnt,
When you get a 50 error on the 8100 it could be any of the three parts causing the problem. Note that the fuser is the first part that most commonly will cause the 50 error, and then the DC controller. The low voltage power supply usually is the last possible problem. Do you still have an issue with the printer having the 50 error message or have you gotten it taken care of?

  • Fuse kernel module located in wrong [version]

    Hello:
I recently installed extra/fuse 2.7.4-3 as part of a project to get my Acer Aspire One to mount my cellphone using obexfs.  However, rather than installing the module under
    /lib/modules/2.6.30-one-dev/
    it was placed under
    /lib/modules/2.6.30-ARCH/kernel/fs/fuse/fuse.ko
and consequently when I try to load it via rc.conf, I get (from dmesg)
    [ 0.844550] fuse init (API version 7.11)
    [ 316.870681] fuse: version magic '2.6.30-ARCH SMP preempt mod_unload 686 ' should be '2.6.30-one-dev SMP preempt mod_unload CORE2 '
    [ 825.370581] fuse: version magic '2.6.30-ARCH SMP preempt mod_unload 686 ' should be '2.6.30-one-dev SMP preempt mod_unload CORE2 '
    [ 1550.966153] fuse: version magic '2.6.30-ARCH SMP preempt mod_unload 686 ' should be '2.6.30-one-dev SMP preempt mod_unload CORE2 '
    or via modprobe I get:
FATAL: Could not open '/lib/modules/2.6.30-one-dev/kernel/fs/fuse/fuse.ko': No such file or directory
I tried reinstalling - even using yaourt -b (from source), but that didn't seem to help.  I looked at the PKGBUILD but didn't know what, if anything, I needed to alter.
I also tried copying the /fuse directory over to the -dev kernel, but I get:
FATAL: Error inserting fuse (/lib/modules/2.6.30-one-dev/kernel/fs/fuse/fuse.ko): Invalid module format
Finally, I ran depmod but that didn't seem to help either.
I was not able to find this problem listed elsewhere.  By the way, I can manipulate files) on my phone using my ACER (as root), but am bothered by the fuse errors.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Rob

Thanks Scimmia. Any Samsung controversy now seems irrelevant? Their code is GPL. Thanks for the history.
The patent issue is orthogonal. The old FAT patent expires in 2013 and was already beaten down. I don't know about exFAT but see TechRights.
Given Microsoft's cross-patent agreements with Apple, Samsung, and the whole tech universe, it's likely wrong to say you need a Microsoft device. You need a device from any vendor with a license. Like motherboard manufacturers....cell phone manufacturers....etc. etc. etc. etc.
Be that as it may or not, I think you're right that any patent implications would affect the FUSE suite as much as the kernel one? Therefore my original argument stands, I would say. Arch should give official support to the kernel module (since it already does the FUSE version which is inferior quality by definition).
    Thanks

    as suspected, i can't boot.
it looks like the udev hook isn't working, because when crypt is run it can't find /dev/sda8, and on the console there's no sd* in /dev/. udev was listed three times, as an early hook, normal hook, and clean up hook.
starting to think i'm going to need a recovery cd, but at a year old, will it even work?
na forget that, i'm chrooted in from fedora, debian wouldn't let me for some reason. edit: i think it was mounted noexec...
    I've done:
    pacman -Syu --ignore glibc
    and that went fine
    then tried
    pacman -Su
and found i needed to delete those old kernel headers
then tried again and i get
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
    glibc: /lib exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
    but when i do this
    [root@nb lib]# find /lib -exec pacman -Qo -- {} +|grep -v glibc
error: cannot determine ownership of directory '/lib'
    [root@nb lib]#
it looks like everything unrelated to glibc is already gone, just the folder /lib itself is causing problems.
also i did a pacman -S linux, like i shouldn't have to begin with, but this time it was able to properly make a mkinitcpio image.
here's the other command the news page suggested to help fix the problem
    [root@nb lib]# grep '^lib/' /var/lib/pacman/local/*/files
