-50 error when trying to get Album Artwork onto iPod
Has anyone had the issue of getting an "unknown error" -50 when trying to sync Album Artwork? I have searched for a similar problem and have found nothing. The art work used to work on my old machine. I have recent change computers, but I moved all my music over to the new machine without any issues. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

I have been trying to get album artwork (Advanced Tab -> Get Album Art) and then once it asks me if I'm sure I want to get it, iTunes 'encounters a problem and needs to close'. Anyone know whats going on or how to fix this?
Or another way to fix my library with the album art its missing?Well I don't know what to say about you first problem. However I may be able to help with getting album artwork. When itunes cant find it I usually go to cduniverse.com and search for the album i'm looking for. When you find it just simply copy and paste. Hope that helps.

Ipod cannot be updated (-50 error) when trying to upload album art
For some reason, when I check the "Display album artwork on your ipod" box, I'll end up with an -50 error, even though the album art is already in iTunes and I can upload songs/photos/videos just fine. Latest version of iTunes and iPod FW.
I've tried unchecking/rechecking the box, ejecting the ipod, restarting the ipod, itunes, Windows, to no avail. Hoping it's just an annoying problem with a simple solution.disconnect your ipod without ejecting it using itunes. just unplug it, and all the artwork should be there

I created a calculated column "Expiration Date" in SharePoint 2010 with formula, =IF([Contingent Hire]=TRUE,(Created+90),(IF([Contingent Hire]=FALSE," ")))
This works in the SharePoint list but when I go to edit the Edit Form in Designer. I get the error specified in the title of this post. I'm trying to make it so the Expiration Date is blank when another column, "Contingent Hire" (a YES/No
column) is FALSE.
The Edit Form is essentially a DataViewWebpart. If I remove the " ", like so, "(IF([Contingent Hire]=FALSE,))" from the calc column, the error goes away; however, the Expiration Date field does not
remain blank like I want it to.
Does anyone have any suggestions? (Below is the error generated when I open Designer and then try to open the Edit form for the corresponding list containing the calc column)

Could you provide a screenshot about this issue?
As Dimitri suggested, you can install the update for your SharePoint Designer and check again.
And you can also check if you can display "NA" instead of " " in your calculated column per the following post.

Everything works fine when I'm using localhost. The support guy for intermedia told me that he "reviewed your SQL File and it does not appear to have a problem" So I don't know where to go from here...ok, I went back and made a new database but changed the character set / collation... aside from that change, everything is the same, but I get an error saying that the datasource could not be found when I can see all the tables in intermedia's phpmyadmin page... would changing the character set / collation cause this error?

The problem could be because of a wrong JDBC url or user id or password. Check whether the entries are the correct one.

How to get album artwork on iPod video?
I have a 30 GB iPod video and some songs on there don't have album artwork so I add it after the song has already been on my iPod for like a week. I could always get my album artwork on my iPod and then right before apple came out with iTunes 7 it stopped showing the artwork for my new songs. Also, when I plug in my iPod it shows that the song has album artwork but it doesn't show up when I'm listening to it. Whats going on?
30 GB iPod Windows XPI was searching for exactly the same issue in the forum.
I've tried mutiple ways of copying the artwork into the iPod, all to no avail.
Just like yours, the artwork shows up in iTunes, but not on the iPod screen,and only for a few select albums, mainly stuff I've put in recently (although some new artwork does show).
I checked to see if there was an issue with the artwork format, but they're all .jpg images, so there shouldn't be any issues there.
Let's hope someone else might have a solution for us.

Receiving 'Unknown Error (-609)' when trying to download album artwork.
Hey all. The subject line says it all. When importing tracks from CD or other sources into iTunes, I get Unknown Error (-609) every time. My connection works, and I've only had this problem since updating to the latest version. The last time I had this issue, I updated and everything was fine but I can't update to a later version now.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this issue?And before it gets suggested, I know full well I can use my internet browser to get artwork and copy/paste it that way. But as I'm in the middle of a stack of roughly 40 discs that I'm uploading, I have no desire to search out all of those album covers if it can be avoided.

"Missing version string for product" error when trying to get updates on Lion Server
I am not getting the latest updates from Apple on my 10.7.4 server. When I attempt to do so the log has a bunch of errors stating "Missing version string for product". I've tried deleting and recreating the swupd files but I am still having the same issue. Is there any fixes to this problem I am missing? Thanks in advance!

'general error' when trying to get clip from browser to viewer
I'm trying to put together a short instructional video (a kind of 'quick intro' on what a particular website is all about).
Some clips in the video consist of screen captures (made with iShowU) while others are 'live' from a firewire camcorder.
There's no problem with the camcorder clips. All going according to plan there.
However, *when I try to get the screen grab clips from the browser to the viewer (to mark in/out points, etc), I get a 'general error' message followed in quick succession by an 'out of memory' message*. (I have 8GB ram so I'm sure memory's not the issue.)
I can drag the screen grab clips from the browser directly to a sequence in the timeline, but not to the viewer.
Neither quitting FCP nor logging out (and back in again) fixes the problem. (BTW, I'm working with a PAL setup on the camera and am capturing in PAL dimensions in iShowU, if this has any relevance here.)
I'm tearing my hair out... Maybe it's something very simple that I'm doing wrong? *Any ideas on how I might get the screen grab clips from the browser to the viewer?*

HughSounds like iShowU may be writing a less-than-valid QuickTime file.
If you can successfully drag one of these items into the timeline, I'd drag it in and then File->Export->QuickTime Movie... checking the Make Movie Self-Contained box. If this works and you have a lot of clips you might try dragging them all into a timeline and then saving them as one big movie. Sounds like they're not that long so such an approach shouldn't get you into FCP performance problems.
Another approach would be to open each movie in QuickTime and do a Save As... with the "Save as self-contained movie" option.
Either way these will probably write a MOV file that FCP will be happy with.

Anyone else having trouble with the App store today? Trying to take in updates but get a "cannot be completed due to unknown error" huh? I've double/triple checked passwords etc, and they're free updates so I don't get it. Deleted apps and tried to re download, but no go..... Thoughts?

IMac shuts down at the end of safe reboot?
My 27 IMac failed to get past start up grey screen. I shut down, pulled all external Devices and restarted in safe mode. The start bar gets to 99% done in safe mode start up and Then the Mac shuts down. Any suggestions?
