Why am I getting emails from Apple support discussions on all topics. I just had over 1300 emails. Also on my iPhone.

Move emails from apple mail to windows outlook

Hello Everyone,
I have recently bought a windows laptop as majority companions in my office have windows only. I also have mac book pro having apple mail as my e-mail client. I work in a small company in which e-mail is the life blood of our company. So now what I need to do is move all my emails from apple mail to outlook that is present in windows laptop. I haven't found any answers or discussions regarding this topic on this forum site. Can any one please help me get over with this problem or atleast guide me or direct me to the forum where solution for this query is posted.

If both system are using the IMAP mail provider all you have to do is setup the connection to the mail server and all the emails and folders will be copied down to the windows computer. That is what IMAP is for. The mail stays on the server, and can be store on the local computer also, and when you connect to the server with another device, computer, phone or pad, all the mail with folders gets copied to the other device.
But I think some of your mail was gotten using POP so it is not longer on the server.
Or you have emails in local folder only and they would be on the server. But you can create folder on the server in one mail program, or on the mail web interface and then copy those emails into those folder on the server byt copying them in one of the email programs. Then when you logon with the other device all of them will be downloaded to the other device.

I wont to fix my old id account my email is and when you whant to reset the password i dont recieve any email from apple id and when you answer question about your birth date it says not file is found.

Apple will not ask you to click a link in an email. They may tell you to log in to your account to reset your password. Go to https://appleid.apple.com and log in if you ever want to change any information in your profile (or your password). And do not click the link I just posted; instead enter it into a browser.
You can verify the devices assigned to your account by going to https://icloud.com/find (again, don't click it), where you can see a list of devices registered to your Apple ID.
As a general rule, you should never click a link in an email or forum post without verifying it first. You can see where it goes without clicking it in most email programs and browsers by hovering your mouse pointer over it. On an iPhone you can check where it goes by holding your finger on the link (rather than just tapping it).

I received an email informing of a purchase made on my account and telling me to change my password if did not purchase the item, which I had not. I have received valid emails from Apple in the past asking letting me know a purchase had been made and asking if I had made the purchase, but the item listed has alway been a purchase that I had made. Since I had received similar emails in the past, I didn't think anything of it. Because I had not purchased the item listed, I immediately clicked on the link in order to change my password, which has been suggested in authentic emails i had received from Apple in the past. The site I was redirected to was exactly the same as the Apple site where you go to change your password. I entered my userID and password and it stated a verification email would be sent, if it was not sent click "resend email." When I did not receive an email, after about 10 seconds I went to the Apple site and followed the SAME EXACT step on pages that were IDENTICAL to the FRAUDULENT website I apparently had just been at. When I clicked "Send verification email," I DID receive an email within seconds, which had a special link that brought me to a page where I could change my password, which I did. I later compared a legitimate email to the FRAUDULENT email and I DID FIND A DIFFERENCE, BUT IT WAS ALMOST UNNOTICEABLE unless you were really, really looking. I doubt it would be noticed by anyone if not comparing it closely to a real email. THE DIFFERENCE WAS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE AUTHENTIC EMAIL, THERE WERE THREE LINKS THAT COULD BE SELECTED - My Apple ID/Support/Privacy Policy. ON THE FRAUDULENT EMAIL THESE LINKS WERE NOT PRESENT!!! Just today I received an email from Apple stating my password had been changed today. I did not change my password today. When I changed after getting the fake email, I did not think about my SECURITY QUESTIONS!!! If you forget your Apple password, you are able to answer the security questions in place of your ID and you get a confirmation email. Even though I changed my password within a one minute when I did not get a confirmation email with a link to change my password right away and I went dierctly to Apple's site, apparently it was enough time to take all the information on my account - INCLUDING MY DEBIT CARD NUMBER, WHICH HAD BEEN REQUIRED WHEN I INITIALLY SET UP THE ACCOUNT!!! Today I received a call from VISA FRAUD PROTECTION asking about strange activity on my account and stating they were concerned and wanted to ensure I had used the account. I HAD NOT, AND ALL THE MONEY IN MY BANK ACCOUNT HAD BEEN STOLEN!!!!! I am writing this in hopes that many people will see it and NOT FALL VICTIM TO THIS SCAM. Please pay close attention to any emails you supposedly receive from Apple - If the links "MY APPLE ID/SUPPORT/PRIVACY POLICY," PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME IT IS AN AUTHENTIC EMAIL FROM APPLE. I suggest you immediately forward the email to apple, which I didn't do because this happened days ago. Nothing was taken from my money that was already on the Apple account, and nothing had been taken from my checking account. No need for alarm. There are several folks a day posting like threads. Most folks know these phishing attempts for what they are and merely delete with prejudice.
To the bottom line... if you wish - and I am sure Apple will take notice - you should FORWARD the email to [email protected] and delete.

hi over the past month have received maybe 5 scam emails from apple.
I opened one the other day cause I thought well maybe it is from apple.
went through the steps and it was amazed at how well they did at copying apple website. you could even go to the apple shop page from their page!
what set me off that it was fake was that I tried to open the other apple pages along the top and it wouldn't let me. so I opened my own apple page and logged in. and realised that they don't ask for your bank details in your Apple ID account.
anyways so now what has happened is I got an email today " from myself" with this same scam email. it is as if they have hacked my email account and sending me these emails. I want to report this to apple but am unable to find any contact details apart from call back options. does any one have any advice on this.

I've had that same exact issue, I received the first e-mail claiming to be from Apple last night (though over the past week I've received two other scam e-mails from different addresses claiming that my bank transactions have been aborted). It said it was from my own address, and I checked it closely to make sure it wasn't a spoof account but found it was indeed my own e-mail address. Five minutes ago I changed my password, and I have just now received a second e-mail exactly the same, still coming from my own account. My best guess at an explanation is that it may have been sent before I changed my password and there was just a delay in the message sending, resulting in it coming through after changing my password.
I've now forwarded the e-mail on as an attachment to the [email protected] address, however this still doesn't help me with regards to stopping these e-mails. It concerns me that even though I changed my password they still possibly have access to my account. I tried checking my account activity but as opening the mail app on my iPhone is considered as a log in and I check it almost twice an hour, it's impossible to tell which could possible be an intruder logging in.

I tried making a new Apple ID for my official iPhone device and found that my official email ID is already taken (although I don't remember taking the same). I have trying to reset my password since last 3 days but I'm not getting any email from Appl

Hi everybody, I already apologize if this isn't the right community for my problem.This whole thing is very confusing so I really hope someone can help me
I used Gmail as my official email account and it was also the Email address for my Apple-ID (for many, many years..)
Strangely, a few months ago, I got an Email from Apple saying that my Apple-ID was being used for Imessage and Facetime on other devices (in Turkey?). I googled it and found out that it might be a fishing mail so I quickly changed my password and also the Email-adress for my Apple.ID – which means that the Gmail-account was not longer in use for Apple anymore.
But here's the problem : I still get Emails from Apple (in Turkish) from time to time to my Gmail- account. They don't seem to be fishing Emails, though. Another odd thing about that is, that the mails I receive at Gmail don't seem to be addressed to my CORRECT email-address.
While my adress looks like „[email protected]“ the Itunes mails I receive are addressed to '[email protected]“ . I hope you know what I mean. There is no point between the names in my real address.
What could this be and how can I solve this problem ? It's really freaking me out.

HT5312 I keep getting an email from Apple telling me that my Apple Id has been successfully reset when I did not reset them. Started early June 2013 and in a month i have had to reset it three times. Apple support was not helpful. Any suggestions?

I keep getting an email from Apple telling me that my Apple Id has been successfully reset. I did not reset it. Since early June 2013 to now i have had to reset it 3 times. It is not an easy one to remember either. Initally I thought it was some pfishing expedition but no purchases have been confirmed by my visa. My kids use my Apple Id to download APs and I am informed when this happens. Nothing strange happening on the financial site at all. Just frustrating as we have to keep updating the ID to use messenger, I cloud etc on all of the devices. I called Apple Support and the girl initally said she knew nothing about this but then spoke to someone else and they are aware of this ongoing problem and are working on it. Any suggestions? Are others having the same problems?

If the system didn't ship with Mountain Lion originally and you didn't purchase Mountain Lion yourself, then you will need to purchase. A purchase by the system's original owner cannot be transferred to you.
Unless you have another system on which you have purchased Mountain Lion, you will need to first install Mac OS X 10.6.8 on the iMac, for which you'll need either the original installation disks, if the iMac came with 10.6, or a retail copy of 10.6. Install 10.6 and upgrade to at least 10.6.6, and then you can buy Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store, presuming of course that the imac can support Mountain Lion. See:

I did make this purchase recently... any idea why i'd be getting this email? Has my account been hacked into? or would Apple legitimately send an email like this?

If it was a scam it would be trying to get information from you, and the sending email address would not end in apple.com.
iforgot.apple.com is a legitimate site for you to change your email. The message has probably been triggered as a security measure to make sure that it is indeed you that has purchased this and not some unauthorised person. As you did make the purchase you can ignore the whole thing.
