I am getting the error while opening the report in the portal.
Error Details:
500 Internal Server - Flat Mode is not Supported!
Can any one please adive me how to go through..

Is this plain query published as iView or do you have a web template as well?
Also check out the cache settings in RSRT.

EBS password - 500 Internal Server Error - FNDCPASS was not able to decrypt

Hello Guys,
I am running ebs 12.1.3 on OEL6. We have been testing for about three months and sudenly there was a prompt at login to chage the sysadmin's password. After that change our system fell apart. We get "500 Internal Server Error" at any attempt to login with URL.
I proceeded to attemtp changing the passwords following MOS doc - "Removing Credentials from a HDADMINd EBS Production Database [ID 419475.1]" but ended up with
"FNDCPASS was not able to decrypt password for user 'APPS' during applsys password change.
FNDCPASS was not able to decrypt password for user 'APPLSYS' during applsys password change"
when I executed
FNDCPASS apps/xxxxxxxxx 0 Y system/xxxxxxxxx ALLORACLE xxxxxxxxx .
I have been reading forums for three days without a possible solution. Has anyone resolved this issue?

I am still having "500 Internal Server Error" after following all the Notes you mentioned:
1) Removing Credentials from a Cloned EBS Production Database [ID 419475.1] - I followed this without errors
2) FNDCPASS Troubleshooting Guide For Login and Changing Applications Passwords [ID 1306938.1] - helped to accurately change the password of SYSADMIN.
As per note 419475.1, I executed autocfg.sh without errors on the apps and db tiers successfully:

EA2700 500 Internal Server error + SmartWifi is not working

got this "excellent" router yesterday and wasted best part of the day trying to get it to work. configures fine, internet and all setting are working as expected, browsing, wifi, routing etc. however it will not connect via a webpage, and yes i have tried all browsers, cleared cache, tried different pc's, stood on my head, waved a magic wand, all give the same error 500 internal server error.
ok, lets try the linksys wifi utility, it says i must connect a compatable router, hahaha. i have tried running this "superb" utility while on the same LAN, while directly connected, on WiFi, all say the same error. I created a wifiaccount, but it just says i must associate a router with the account.
Happy days, someone please tell me what i am doing wrong before i throw this router at high speed through the window.

Had you tried to power cycle your devices?
1. Turn off or power down the Cable or DSL Modem, Linksys Router and the Computer. Wait for 3 minutes.
2. After that power up the Cable or DSL Modem first, wait for the modem to stabilize.
3. If the Cable or DSL modem is already stable, turn the Linksys Router ON, and then last the computer.
Do you have the latest firmware installed on your router? This is one of the probable cause of your concern. What is the IP address of the computer when wired directly to your modem? If ever the computer wired to your router is getting an IP address same with the default IP address range of the router then change it to 10.10.10.1, just to make sure.

Oracle doc says Custom Portlet Mode are not supported

Is it true that WebCenter does not support JSR 286 custom portlet modes unless they are predefined Oracle-PDK portlet modes?

WebCenter does not support custom portlet modes. I've tested and answered this.
Oracle WebCenter supports a fixed set of custom portlet modes defined by oracle. This is bad.
Custom portlet modes are a JSR 286 standard. How is it possible that WebCenter does not implement it.
Therefore, it you have a custom portlet mode such as "viewBooksMode", then you must change every mention of it in your project to "about" or "preview" or "help" or "print".

External display and "clam shell" closed lid mode = "Input Not Supported"

I have an Acer AL2016W 20" monitor hooked up to my again Powerbook due to it having a cracked screen. It is working just fine right now, in 1680x1050, when the screen is open. Citing this article,

I should be able to close it and have it working as well. When I do close it then wake it, I just get a "Input Not Supported" message on the monitor. Any help?

That's rather puzzling as the display should not work if the lid is closed. If you have an external drive you're able to install a clean copy of Mac OS X to and boot from you can see if the issue persist there. If it does then it's most likely a hardware issue and you should contact AppleCare. If it doesn't then it has something to do with either your software installation else some utility you've installed.

500 Internal Sever Error...rejected by he HTTP filter

Hi All,
I'm new to OBIEE 11g (so bear with me) and running into an issue with action links and looking for help. I have an action link on a dashboard which navigates to BI content, specifically a Pivot Table Analysis. When I select this link I'm getting the error:
+"This page cannot be displayed" - "Error Code: 500 Internal Server Error. The request was rejected by the HTTP filter. Contact the server administrator. (12217)"+
However when I remote desktop onto the server where OBIEE is installed and open OBIEE Analytics via IE and navigate to the dashboard and hit the link there are no issues. The report opens. Also when I have OBIEE open via the server and then open it seperately on my PC it works fine! Then the second I come out of the server and try again I get the error above.
Can anyone help me out with this? Appreciate all comments and suggestions!!

Iam working with OBIEE 11g. Yes I have tried multiple browsers with different versions.
When I said that "I had OBIEE open the server" I meant that I had OBIEE Analytics open via a web browser while I was on the server where OBIEE is installed - where the Admin Console and Enterprise Manager are installed.
Apologies if I'm being unclear - still learning the ropes at the moment.

1) I think your intension may be of checking whether a year is leap year or not.
2) For this you need to check only on Year

OracleDataAdapter with IN or IN-OUT parameters is not supported

We are getting this message when we are trying to preview the data when creating an OracleDataAdapter with a SQL statement that has a parameter.
What does this mean and is there a work-around for it as I'd really like to create a typed dataset from an SQL Statement.
(If it means what I think it means, then I'm beginning to doubt the usefulness of using the Oracle Data Provider over MS version.)

Mini Display- HDMI to a Samsung TV (mode not supported)

I have a weird problem connecting my 2010 Macbook Pro to a 2010 Samsung LCD TV using a minidisplay-hdmi adaptor. This used to work, and now it doesn't. The TV reports that the mode is not supported. I have tried every single resolution with no success, I have checked with alternate adaptors, alternate HDMI leads and alternate HDMI ports on the TV. All of this troubleshooting was unsuccessful.
From what I can see on the web there appear to be long running problems connecting to Samsung TVs, does anyone have a solution?

"Mode not supported" Mac mini connected to LCD TV via HDMI

Hello, new mac min owner here (2.5) (September 2011). I followed the instructions in the "hello" booklet, including attaching peripherals, such as mouse and keyboard. I also connected a Samsung LCD TV via HMDI cable - as I propose to use this as my monitor. I then switchedn on the macmini, as directed in pages 11-16 of the macmini 'hello' handbook. Unfortunately I cannot even progress to the setup assistant as my TV just tells me that the "mode is not supported" through the HDMI cable. I assume that some output settings need to be changed in the macmini to accommodate the LCD TV output range.
My question is, how do I change these settings if the only screen I have is the screen that the macmini will not output to? Isn't this a massive oversight by Apple, given that a major selling point is the macmini's versatility?

What you are seeing, where you can't see the edges of the image, is known as "overscan".
This is something TVs have done forever to avoid seeing weird stuff at the edges of the transmitted frames.
The display control in System Preferences lets you turn overscan on or off (it is a checkable item in the "Options" panel). You might need to have this checked to display video, but you sure don't want it checked to use the TV as a computer display.
Although I have overscan OFF on my older Mac Mini, I've had the problem where sometimes after a restart the display is in overscan mode. To fix this, I can "guess" where the apple menu is off the top left of the screen, get to system preferences, check overscan to be on and then uncheck it to turn it back off. If you can't guess where the apple menu is successfully, you might try accessing the Mini from another Mac by using screen sharing. The shared screen looks correct even if overscan is on.

Apple TV mode not supported

Apple TV connected thru HDMI, checked pluged in scurely. When I turn on the apple TV the Samsung says that the "Mode is NOT Supported", what does this mean? and how do I get the apple tv supported? so I can use it.

You may wish to try the following:
Press and hold the menu and the up button simultaneously on the remote for six seconds, the Apple TV should then begin to cycle through the various resolutions available to it at 20 second intervals.. If you see a picture appear up on your screen, use the remote to scroll down to the OK option and select it.

CS-MANAGER: Catalyst 6500 in VSS mode not supported????

We have recently moved from CSM 3.2 to CSM 3.3.1 Service Pack 3.
We are now trying to add a Cisco Catalyst 6513 configured in VSS mode using 12.2(33)SXI5 software. When we try to add th device from network, it starts Discovering the configurations, and when it reaches the 15%, we got the message "Discovery Failed - Invalid Device: Catalyst in VSS mode is not Supported"
I´ve attached to this post the screenshot showing the error
Any idea of what can i do to manage this device on CSM??

VSS is not supported even in the latest CSM release 4.1 AFAIK
