500 Pre-Order Bonus Points Missing

I have several games I've pre-ordered and picked up this year but I can't seem to find the bonus points and I can't look back more than 90 days. The most recent is COD: MW but there have been others. I have GCU and have followed the rules. Can somebody look into this?

Like enuf mentioned, it typically takes 15-20 days from the time of shipment or pickup for pre-order bonus certificates to post. We also recently changed how My Best Buy account details appear on BestBuy.com in order to streamline user experience for the Thanksgiving shopping season, as Derek-BBY explained here. Hello,
I'm a Best Buy Elite and GCU member. I pre-ordered Far Cry 4 on November 11th and picked up the game in store on November 18th but the 500 points that im supposed to receive for pre-ordering the game isn't listed on the transaction and there's no points pending.
I would like to know if anyone can help me solve this issue and if so, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It can take 15-20 days for the $10 cert to post and it may or may not so as pending. Based off your Nov 18th time line if your points are there by Dec 8-9 then bump this thread for assistance.

Missing pre-order bonus points

I picked up pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 5 and Far Cry 4 on 11/18, but the 500 bonus points per game do not show as pending on my purchase history.From browsing this forum, it looks like the reason is that the initial $5 deposits were not properly applied to the final sale. Can this be corrected?

Thanks too for being a My Best Buy member. As enuf mentioned, points can take up to 20 days to post to your account, and as long as you have both the pre-order and the purchase associated to your membership then the points should appear within that time frame.

NBA 2k15 $10(500 point) pre-order bonus

I pre-ordered NBA 2K15 for the playstation 4 and my transaction has showed up on mypoints and it doesn't show that I recieved my 500 point pre-order bonus for the game. When I pre-ordered destiny the 500 points were there in my pending transactions after I had picked my game and this time for NBA 2K15 it is not there. How do I get my 500 point bonus? The Get $10 promotion is certainly a great incentive for pre-ordering with Best Buy and your concerns are understandable if you’re not seeing the points yet. However, you should have nothing to worry about here!
What enuf has said is absolutely correct. I can take up to 15-20 days before you’ll see the points from the Get $10 promotion. Within that timeframe, you may not see the points as pending. Again, you should be just fine! If for any reason 20 days elapses and you’re still not seeing the points, feel free to send me a private message via the link in my signature.

No "Victory can be Pre-Order Bonus" not showing up?

I've pre-order quite a few games from your $10 in Rewards Points promo. I'm just writing to say that two games I pre-ordered and picked up have the base points applied but when I look at the details there is no mention of the 500 bonus points. The games are Halo Master Chief Collection (ordered on 8/12/2014) and Assassin's Creed Unity (05/05/2014). These were both placed on BestBuy.com. If you could give me some clarification on this issue, I'd appreciate it.

I wouldn't worry just yet! It can take 15-20 days from the time of pickup or shipment for pre-order bonus certificates to post. The associated points may also never appear as pending, and instead simply be listed on BestBuy.com on/around the date you placed your order. Midldle Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Pre-order Bonuses?

Hello!
I recently got off the phone with a Best Buy representative and wanted to confirm what was said is true. I was late on jumping on the order ship for Shadow of Mordor. I was planning on pre-ordering, but was waiting for confirmation on which is the "better" version (PS4 vs Xbox One, resolutiongate continues!). As a result, I didn't "pre-order" and ordered it today.
The phone representative said that any order before the 3rd of October still qualifies for the pre-order bonuses (despite the game coming out on September 30th). Is this true? I'd like to confirm that I'll be receiving the $10 rewards certificate and pre-order bonus code before picking up the game.
I'd confirm it myself, but it appears the My Reward Zone site has changed and you can no longer see pending points.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Like Kinsella5 mentioned, pre-order bonuses are typically only available to customers who reserve an eligible item prior to its release date and subsequently purchase it. I'm not personally aware of such an extension being offered, so I'd have to say the rep you spoke with was mistaken.

Pre-Order Bonus - Same Title on Different Platform

If a qualifying title is preordered on two separate consoles, does the pre-order bonus apply to both since they are differnt skus or just once?
For example, if I preorder Wolfenstein on PS4 and Xbox One, will I receive $20 in bonus points or $40? Thanks in advance.

Good question! Pre-order bonuses are limited to one per account per gaming title. This means you would only be eligible to receive $20 in reward certificates regardless of the number of copies of Wolfenstein: The New Order you reserve -- even if those copies are on different consoles.

Nba kevin Durant pre order bonus

When there is a preorder bonus I usually get the code on the receipt when I purchase the item, and I did not receive the Kevin Durant's preorder bonus why is this?

Pre order bonus $10 bonus

Hi, I recently pre ordered the game Evolve for PS4 on 2/9/15 which officially release on 2/10/15. I put $5 down instore and my gcu applied and fully paid it off the next day at the store pickup. They didn't ask for my email to get the pre order bonus emailed to me nor was the bonus printed on the receipt. The GCU was applied correctly but they had to grab the game for me since it was not ready for pickup probably because I only deposited $5. So when I paid a total of $45 ($5 already deposited) I noticed that there's no code on the receipt and no pre order bonus listed on my purchase history (2/10/15) I see 0 points pending but it'll probably show up after a few days. Last time I pre ordered, they did a "trade up offer" and asked me my email address and I was able to get the bonus code on the receipt and the $10 cert after a few days. I'd like to know if I can actually return to the store and have them do that "trade up offer" if this purchase didn't count as a pre order. If you can confirm for me that this counts as a pre order and I should be receiving my code and $10 cert soon, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance

The points from your game as well as the $10 bonus certificate for pre-ordering should appear in your My Best Buy point history in 15-20 business days, as they would with any other purchase. Destiny Limited Edition Pre-Order Bonus $10 Issue

I pre-ordered Destiny 2 months ago online for in-store pickup. Went to the midnight release and was told that they didn't have my game (Destiny XB1 LE). I went home, called bestbuy.com and asked what was going on. She said it showed in store, and to pick it up in the morning. Go back in the morning of release day and am told that they were shipped 360 LEs by mistake and that no other store anywhere had a limited edition. I go back at the end of the week and ask what is going to be done - they initially say nothing. The manager then gets on the phone and starts calling stores - lots of stores - and finds a copy and has it shipped in. When I go to buy it, they cancel my pre-order and ring it up under a new transaction (i.e. no $10 in points). Could I still get my $10 in points?

Bungie recently revealed that when you pre order Destiny you receive access to the vanguard armory. When I went to check the Destiny page at Best buy.com, there was no mention of it. Will people who will or have pre ordered Destiny receive this content.

Kmart is now offering 20$ pre order bonuses on many upcoming releases, including Destiny, Watchdogs and several others. Plus with there offer you can get one for each system and collect the bonus for each of them. Is Best Buy going to start offering the same deals to compete with them?
