500 Server License Expired

Hi all
I have 10.4.6 Client on my iMac G5 and am getting this error when trying to access it's local pages stored in /Library/WebServer.
Any suggestions? Most recent updates are iWeb 1.1.1 and Quicktime 7.1.1
Troubleshooting includes apachectl restart (shows not started), apachectl stop (no pid not running) and apachectl graceful (not running, started) but all requests to the pages yield 500 server error.

My knowledge of headers is limited.
I do have an installation of phpmyadmin installed, but this should not be impacting other sites should it? Nor should I be getting errors from apachectl that the httpd is not running correct?

I have SAP Application server installed. When I open the SAP Management Console, it shows me the server 'jcontrol.exe' with the status 'stopped, license check failed' message.
What this message indicates? How the license check is failed?

First of all, it seems you are working with the NetWeaver 2004 or 7.0 (2004s) release, so I'll move your question to the NetWeaver AS Java forum, this one is especially for the Java EE 5 compatible versions of NetWeaver.
I suppose you have downloaded and installed a trial version from SDN. These trial versions are provided exclusively for evaluative purposes and have a temporary license installed. After the trial period expires, the server will stop after 30 minutes, that's what the message says. You can request a new license key <a href="https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/minisap/minisap.htm">here</a>.

Need buy server licenses for ~500 pers.

We want to buy ExportPDF (server licenses for ~500 pers. or equivalent method more cheaper) with a better value for long-term use.

So far as I know, there is only individual per-user accounts for ExportPDF and no discount. It will always run on Adobe's servers. Perhaps what you really need is Adobe's server product LiveCycle PDF Generator which (despite its name) does include some server based conversion of PDF to other formats (check editions carefully). At this volume of use, running your own service may be more cost effective, but it will require expertise to integrate it onto your own servers.

The grace period for the Remote Desktop Session Host server has expired

<p>I'm running Windows Server 2012, we only have 1 server and it's a DC. I'm trying to RD to the server from my Windows 7 laptop. It was working fine on Friday but when I came in on Monday I got message saying that 'The remote session was disconnnected
because there are no Remote Desktop License Servers available to provide a license'
So after a bit of digging I found out my 'grace period' had expired, so ordered a new license which I got today, installed this all ok but still i cannot connect via RD I get the same message....went into the RD License Diagnoser and it said the problem
was as follows
'The grace period for the Remote Desktop Session Host server has expired, but the RD Session Host server has not been configured with any license servers. Connections to the RD Session Host server will be denied unless a license server is configured for
the RD Session Host server.'
Suggested Resolution as follows
Configure a license server for the Remote Desktop Session Host server. If you have an existing license server, specify that license server for the RD Session Host Server. Otherwise, install RD Licensing on a computer on your network and Configure RD Session
Host Server to use it.'
I cannot figure out how to do this as I cannot find the RD Session Host Server tool.
Can any of you lovely people help me please

Best option would be to assign the license server by using AD GPO. Youl will need to configure the following:
Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Licensing
and define the settings for:
Use the specified Remote Desktop License Server
Set the Remote Desktop Licensing mode
Then assign the policy tho your server.

Evaluation license expiring early

I have setup two instances of the Server 2012 Eval for the purposes of testing the failover clustering system with a legacy Oracle database control system. Because of several mishaps, I was required to reload the OS on each machine at least three times
(DirectAccess/RAS refused to be configured, other annoyances).
The problem is the eval license is failing after 30 days. The server displays a "license expired" indication, and then the machine shuts down unexpectedly or stops RPC communications - which tend to stop the test.
I have tried full MS updates and "registering" the trial to no avail.
The trial has been underway for 45 days or so and the OS reloads stopped after the first two weeks. The first machine dropped off last week (forcing an OS reload), and now the 2nd is having the same issues.
Any suggestions other than recreating the machines and moving really fast?

My build 9431 2012 R2 Datacenter Evaluation install has also expired early.
Is this activation process still out of commission? The emails and website indicate that the preview should last 180 days, but it has only been just over 90 for this install. Any tips for getting rid of the Demi-hourly restarts?

SQL Server License from SAP to use the Business Intelligence Stack

SQL Server license is a very complicated issue. If the tool is given to you in the package, it should be ok to use it. There is no update for the info provided in the blog although it is over 3 years.

According to your description, you fail to execute the function with timeout error after migration to SQL Server 2012. Based on my research, the issue could be due to the long running tasks or uncommitted transactions.
To troubleshoot the issue, besides Olaf's suggestion to check the connection to SQL Server 2012 instance and the stored procedure using SQL Server Management Studio(SSMS) manually, you could also follow the methods below.
1. Execute that procedure manually using SSMS and check if it takes a very long time to execute and return. For example, there could be millions of rows being updated. If it takes a long time, you can adjust the CommandTimeout accordingly.
2. Execute the following statement in SSMS to check if there are any uncommitted transactions: dbcc opentran ('yourDatabaseName'). If there are any uncommitted transactions, please change the stored procedure accordingly to commit the transactions.

I started to run the Weblogic Server on my machine yesterday and I suddenly got
this error:
"License Expired, Please Contact BEA Systems Inc"
This is the message I got on the Visual Age Console:
"Invalid BEA WLS Integration Kit License. Please cantact BEA"
I was able to run Weblogic Server until the past 2 weeks. I tried to re-install
the whole Visual Age 3.5
and as well as the Integration Kit I download from the Weblogic website and I
still get the same
problem. Can somebody help me with this. I haven't upgraded to 3.5.3 yet.

The Kit available from the BEA website is an evaluation version. You need to
contact BEA Sales for a permanent license.

Applying patch for WLS 10 license expiration does not help

I recently upgraded my BEA installation from 9.2 to 10.0. I applied the 2VJT patch to my installation of WLS10 to get around the licensing problem. But the patch does not seem to help and i still get the license expired error.
To verify that the patch has been applied, i checked using the bsu scripts and shown below is the output.
Any clues on what is missing?

Further debugging the issue, shows that the PATCH_CLASSPATH being picked up is wrong and points to the 9.2 version instead of the wls10.0. Not sure how to fix this since the rest of the JARs are from the wls10 version as is seen here (fyi bea-wl9.2 is BEA_HOME)

Veritas VxVM demo license expired

Anyone knows or tested what will happen when VxVM license demo expired? And what happen if the server was rebooted with rootdisk under vxvm control.

There is a few options.
Dun reboot.
try set system clock backwards to before license expired may "fool the license" but not sure how it will affact your data.
Last old trick: use hid2(if you can still find it) the vm license if I'm not wrong should be tied system hostid, if you have another box with valid permanent vm license, you can first try to change the system hostid to the system hostid which is using the permanent vm license and use the vm license
example of the old way we did it was:
System A uses 84b0231b (uses perm vm license)
System B uses 84b0231c ( uses temp vm license)
on system B edit your /etc/rc1.d S10* files
add the following entry at the last line
hid2 84b0231b (so that every reboot it will mask itself)
reboot system then try to apply the perm vm license from system A, shud work.

WLS 5.1 SP12 Evaluation Copy - License Expiration error

Hi,
I have installed the evaluation copy of Weblogic Server 5.1 SP12 today (July 09th)
on my WinNT system. When I run startWebLogic.cmd to start the server, it gives me
licnese expiration error. The expiration date in the license file is 08-July-2002.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

                     Can you please tell me about DI Server License Cost, By Default DI Server License Valid for 15 days. It is not possible after every 15 days. register DI Server with new License.
                     Any body please provide me the License cost of DI Server, for longer validity.

Jcontrol license expired

Hi ALL
I am stuck up in situation.
In mmc jcontrol process in red color it has stopped because license expired.when i tried logging in with restarting the process again since we can login for 30 min till process again shows license expiry message but i am unable to login with sap* also in visual admin to apply the license.
we can use offline configurator to apply license by using license option in it and manually editing a entry. Does anybody know How to apply license with offlineconfigurator ?

Hi Saurabh,
I have successfully resolved this problem in EP6 SP2.
Try this as soon as you start the Java stack. You can log in either as Administrator or SAP* <b>within 30 minutes</b>. Keep the license file handy.
- Select Visual Administrator Server 0 - Services Licensing Adapter.
- Save the license key file you received from SAP on your host.
- In Licensing Adapter in the Visual Administrator, select "Install license from file".
- Select the license file you received from SAP and choose "Open" to continue.
- You receive a message that your license was installed successfully.
Restart the J2EE Engine.

FM Server License and Call Home

We currently are getting a message everyday for the call home that the Fabric Manager is grace period is going to expire in XX number of days. Is there any way to turn this alert off? This is annoying as we like the call home feature, but hate the NAG of the FM Server license.

A way to stop the Fabric Manager license nag message is to remove the license alert group from each call home destination profile.
To do this from the CLI, do these commands:

Exchange Downgrade Rights Server license and CALs

We currently are in the process of Migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 and then on to 2013. Mailboxes are being migrated on a weekly basis to the new Exchange 2010 server, Our Exchange 2010 server is just using an Eval license as our goal is
to stand up a new Exchange 2013 server and just continue the move from exchange 2010 to 2013. If we purchase an Exchange 2013 server license (guessing it will be volume license) will we have a license key that we can use with our Exchange 2010 Eval server,
im concerned we will not get everything migrated to 2013 prior to our eval license expiring. Also, how would we handle our CALS for this situation?

Agree with Steve’s suggestion, you won’t get the license key used by Exchange 2010 if you buy the Exchange 2013 license.
