5002 - Error In itunes Store - Try Again Later?

New to iTunes, Windows7 - Logging in to iTunes Store - I get 5002 error.  Should I just do what's suggested and "Try again later" ?  My Apple ID is good on the website and I was able to change my password, rebooted my computer and even obtained this support forum id. I just keep getting the 5002 error when logging in to the iTunes store.  Help !

  • HT1819 error in iTunes #11111, try again later. Never works.  What's up?

Produced a podcast in garageband, post it in iWeb, but when i submit it to iTunes, I keep getting a message of an error in iTunes #11111, try again later. Never works.  What's up?

In the iTunes application on your computer (not the apple.com account page), update your payment information, including the credit card security code.  Once done, the red warning stating the payment info must be verified will disappear and you'll be able to rent on the Apple TV.

Did it last the whole day or just recently? Sometimes it can be a temporary problem with iTunes, but if it's been for the day, then it may probably be another problem.

  • Getting an error message with Itunes store. try again later. What's up?

Getting an error message- Try again later for Itunes. What gives?

It sounds a lot like your phone was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it before you updated.
    Was it?

  • Cannot sign into iTunes, please try again later!  HELP!

I can't sign in to my iTunes account on my MacBookPro despite being able to on my iphone 5 and other mac devices.  The same pop up keeps appearing: Cannot connect to the iTunes store, try again later.  I've updated the itunes software, restarted the computer, shut it down, turned it back on...and still the same pop up!  I've gone back on my phone to try and download a song on itunes and it works perfectly.  No issues.  Has anyone encountered this before? I shall be gratefull for any advice.
    Thanks in advance,
    Lynn

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Assuming this is not the first time you have used your Apple TV
You might try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
    Also try restarting the router.
If the problem persists, try a restore, you may want to try the previous procedures several times before doing this.
If restoring from the Apple TV doesn't help, try restoring from iTunes using a USB cable.
If this is a new Apple TV, in addition to trying the above, it may also be that your network router is not allowing access to the timeserver, check that your router allows access over port 123.

Hi Jen.  My daughter just compleated her nursing program and is now working as a full time nurse.  Focus and study hard and soon you will be there too.  Now to the problem at hand.  I have the same problem.  I gave up on it and satisfied myself with my iPod without the upgrade.  Reason being I've read so many posts of people having problems after the upgrade.  But I'm sure other factors are involved.  Nevertheless here is the fix most say works to solve the problem:  What ever virus protection you have installed on your computer, disable it.  Then try to install the update. After that enable the protection. I had Kaspersky, and it does it's job well. The thinking is, the virus protection is blocking the upgrade.  Hope this works.   Charlie

After I upgraded to Mavericks I was also having this message when I tried to update. There was a previous post about this problem which offered this simple solution which worked for me:

Got it! Thanx.  What I did was go to my account, check that they had my new ID and Password which they did, then hit reset button. All fixed.

  • Error During Purchase: Please try again later

We have created an app that has free content and are now trying our first in-app purchase. We've updated the app with the in-app purchase and have gotten Apple's approval and it is now available for download on the App store. The problem we are having is that some users are able to download the in-app purchase folio with no problems, while others are getting this error: "Error During Purchase: Please try again later." We are not seeing any differences between the iPad's/app versions being used. The latest versions of iOS and of the app are producing these inconsistent errors. For the ones having errors, we have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but still getting the same error message. Any advice on what could be going on?

    Bob,
    answering your questions:
    - Did you use the same Product ID when creating the in-app purchase and publishing the folio?
Yes, I'm using the same Product ID. So, after publishing the folio, it appears at my in-app test.
    - Are the retail folios set as public?
If I publish a free issue, I can test the download. The problem is when I set it as retail. The issue and the price appears, but when I try to make the purchase, after I confirm my purchase with an Apple test user, with the [Environment: Sandbox], it says: "ERROR DURING PURCHASE - Please try again later"
    - Are your in-app purchases cleared for sale?
I think so. When I published, I've set as Public, Retail and the same Product ID I used at iTunnes Connect. So, when I'm testing at my in-app, the folio appears. Is there any other place I have to go?
    Regards,
    Filipe.

  • Ringback Tones: System error occurred. Please try again later. code: 4033

I am consistently getting this message when attempting to manage my Ringback tones with the VZW Media Manager, it partially comes up then that error appears.
"System error occurred. Please try again later.
    code: 4033"
Any ideas? I've sent this to Verizon but received no response.
Another thing, the Media Store is extremely slow most of the time and unresponsive, are they planning on resolving this issue?

Ok, this is even more weird, some serious system issue apparently.
I am unable to login to the Media Store now, it tells me it is unavailable.
Then when attempting to click the "Manage" link on the Media Store homepage under "Ringback Tones", it redirects me to a Yahoo! Page that says "Page Not found".
    Anyone else having these issues?
