504 PROXY TIME OUT. The connection time out

using our ITS link. what would be the possible solutions to reduce this kind of error.

If only a particular user is facing this problem, check with the user on what she/he is doing.
if everyone is facing, have a look at ITS timeout parameters.

Hi judy. I feel your frustration and anger. I had placed an order with B&N and got billed twice. I called them and i let the rep know i had just checked my acct and saw i've been billed twice. The rep checked and sure enough their records showed i was billed twice.
Then the rep apologized, which is always cool for a corp to do, and i was told that the money would be credited back to my card within 3 to 5 business days. And sure enough that's what happened.

Sub Problem:
When using the advanced edit cursor, right click Is used to select a hyperlink-properties the first time the dialog box pops up it does not have “focus” (not sure that is the right term, but the box is grayed out and will not respond to the keyboard.). It must be mouse clicked to get focus. The second time a link is right clicked to properties the popup responds to the key board and will move to the action tab with ctrl-tab
It’s not clear to me where the acrobat program is at that point.
Is that a known action or problem with acrobat pro 9.4.4?
Is there a key or keys from the keyboard that can force focus to the box?
The problem is each file I open I have to manually find a link and right click it to get the box then click in the box to get “focus”. After the first one the box pops up with focus.

Main Problem:
I have been working on converting a set of pdf files with 1000’s of hyperlinks like www.site.com\folder1\file1.pdf#page=10
To jump to a local copy of the files with a relative type link
../folder1/file1.pdf and then go to the proper page.
I have found that it can be done manually by changing the hyperlink to a javascript
var otherDoc = app.openDoc('../folder1/file1.pdf', this);otherDoc.pageNum = 10 - 1;
and setting each destination file with a disclose()=true;

I have resorted to the following plan using acrobat javascript, an external keyboard macro recorder and excel in combination to get around the problem
Four folder level acrobat javascripts with “buttons”
One to get all the link quads in an array, in the pdf and report the total number
The second creates a form field in the far corner of the first page and moves there.
The third jumps to each link found by creating a form field just to the left of the link and zooms in so it can be selected by a “mouse click” from the keyboard macro recorder
The forth deletes the form field
The keyboard macro recorder runs javascript 2 and then 3 then clicks on the link just to the right of the middle of the screen and uses keys to get to the advanced editing to get to edit the hyperlink .
The hyperlink is then copied to excel where it is converted using string functions to the needed javascript text to be copied back.
To the acrobat file into a java script (after deleting the hyperlink)
Rinse/lather/repeat
I have been able to convert about 150 links an hour.
Better then hand typing, but not like having java access to the links.

I didn't intend to say you must close the X box after each
apply. It's OK to apply one change and go to another item before
closing the dialogue. It's the OK button that messes up sometimes.
Even when you hit the Apply button for a very large selection
of topics, the OK button sometimes will undo the apply, not
necessarily for all selected topics. Even when you've made just one
batch change.
I think it's because OK tries to re-set all settings (that's
why it takes forever), but does not correctly pick up the mass
changes previously applied. Or maybe it takes forever because it
can't find the new info and defaults to the existing settings.
A pain in the butt when you're trying to apply a stylesheet
to a very large number of topics. Please don't ask me to define "a
large number."
Maybe it's a space limit in RH, similar to the space limit
for the number of characters in a batch of file names you want to
import. Or maybe the OK button doesn't look in the right places.

Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

Some months ago, I enabled the feature to read out the current time every full hour. Since yesterday, my mac reads it out twice, completely interleaved.
What can I do to fix it, so it reads out the time each hour only once?

I've run into the issue and it seems to be related to an app not fully supporting the iOS you're on, the reboot doesn't usually solve it.
I've solved it in the following manner(s):
1) Backup the device to iCloud, then erase the iPad (Content and Network Settings).
2) Setup the iPad and choose to restore from iTunes/iCloud Backup (wherever you backed it up)
3) Perform any software updates
I have not tried simply performing the software updates (which may fix it, but if it doesn't you won't be able to perform the above steps).

No, sounds like when you dropped it an cracked the screen it may have also damaged the logic board or the repair person damaged a cable.

After disabling and starting in safe mode, the connection time is still extremely slow.

My cache empties on closing the browser and I delete history every day. Still most times, the connection time is horrible, sometimes up to 80 seconds. I run Malwarebytes and Super Anti Spyware every night. Kaspersky anti-virus runs constantly so it's up to the minute protection. This only started about 7 weeks ago and I've tried all the suggestions I could find on the web, without results.

We have big troubles with our ConnectionPool. We have adapted most parts from the Book "Professional Java Server Programming" (Wrox Press).
However, the connections are invalid (I/O Exceptions like "End of TNS Data Channel" or "Broken Pipe") after a while.
The average up-time of our pool is approximately 24 hours.
Now we want to drop renew the connections after a certain amount of time (let�s say 1 hour). To do this, we would need to determine the time when the connection has been established. How can this be done?
I have looked into the DatabaseMetaData class, but did not find anything (at the first glance).
PLEASE help me / us, the problem is really severe!

PLEASE help me / us, the problem is really severe!Where did you get the pool from? Is it your code? If so then are you sending a keep alive query - which would keep the connection active?
If it isn't your code then are you explicitly returning the connections to the pool?
Commercial pools don't typically drop connections. Some do which can be discovered by examining the configuration options for the pool that you have.
If it is your code and you just want to add this, then you add a time value to each connection node. Each time a node is returned you set the time. You have a thread that runs and checks the time value, dropping any that are older than the value you want.

So i locked myself out the ipod and i followed the steps to restore. it was restoring,,in the last eight minutes my ipod went back on and it said ipod disabled..but there was still restoring and then it said the connectioned timed out i need help

Is there anyway to increase the connection time when using Remote Connections in Photoshop CC

I am using the Adobe Tutorial Player and have a connection estiblished between my iPad and Photoshop CC. The connect drops frequently. Is there a way to incerase the connection time lenght. It would be helpful in working through the tutorial to not loose the connection. I am using Photoshop CC, Windows 8.1 and iOS 7.0.4
