5230: How to put in an URL before connecting to in...

I just updated my 5230 to V 50.0.001.
In this version the browser always starts to connect to the startpage when I connect to the internet.
I did not find a way, to enter an URL first and then tell the browser to connect to this site without going to the startpage first.
I tried to delete the startpage in the setup, but without an entry in this dialogbox, I can't select the OK button.
In V 40.0.001 it was possible to enter an URL and starting the browser after this.
Any idea how to do this in V 50.0.001?

I am sorry, but this is not the way it works. Maybe you described the way how to do it in the old browser version - or I did not search in the right menu.
On the first page, I press the white button, then "Internet" --> "web".
Now the browser starts to connect to the site defined as "Homepage"
I cancel this action and I see a white browser page
Now I press at the arrow on the down right of this page to enter page with the browser options.
Here I select Settings-->General--> Homepage.
Now, I have two options (three, if a site in the Browser is loaded):
* Default (selects OVI.COM as homepage)
* User defined
(* Use current page (If loaded, see above))
I select "user defined" and can enter an URL. If not written manually, the prefix "http://" is added automatically.
I don't understand what you mean with "set Homepage as Bookmarks." in your description.
In my desperation I entered the word "Bookmarks" it was converted to http://bookmarks.
Where is the mistake I made.
Momentary I thinh, the mistake was to update the software of my 5230 :-(

And the item P10_MOTNH is not properly valued with that URL.
In short, how to build the URL properly, and what is the separator I can use to separate the values ?

The apex url is as follows

but you must retain the colons.
So
f?p=:&APP_ID.:&APP_PAGE_ID.:&APP_SESSION.::::P1_ITEM1,P1_ITEM2:A,B
(I think I've counted the colons correctly...?)
Would populate P1_ITEM1 with A and P1_ITEM2 with B

If you use file reference with an AIR app you have access to the file path, with a browser based app security prevents you from having access to the file path you can access the name of the file only.
this is an example of grab a list of files(images) using filereferencelist and filereference and displaying the image in a list, its a similar process for just getting a list of file names

When you say create a command line, what exactly are you referring to? I assume you have a logical schema mapped to the ebs instance you want to run the fnd_global function in (the same one you will have reverse engineered the models from etc), just set that as the schema on the step parameters and ODI will connect through for you as a SQL session.
Technology set to Oracle ?
What does the error actually say in the operator log?

Well the only way I know how to put ANYTHING on there is ZOON and ZOON DOES NOT HAVE AN OPTION IN IT FOR EBOOKS THAT I CAN SEE.
How is "IN THE STANDARD WAY" supposed to be of any use or help to me whatsoever when STANDARD WAY FOR EBOOKS IS NOT EVIDENT TO ME???

How to visit a pasted url in address field?

This may seem a naïve question:
Some background: I have never used Safari before. I have just installed *Safari 5.01* for Windows on my *Windows 7 PC*, and when I *+copy and paste+* an url for a particular existing web page into Safari's address field (which url loads successfully in Firefox, Opera, and IE ), I find I have no *go to* or load arrow, or other means, such as pressing enter or return, to make the browser load the pasted address. When I press Ctrl+L nothing happens, whether from the drop down menu at File: *Open Location...* or as a double keyboard command.
And so I resorted to importing a bookmark for the address from IE, and then Safari loaded it successfully.
Can I not just copy and paste addresses into Safari's address field and have a *+simple next step+* to load the page as I can with IE, Firefox, and Opera ?
I tried typing part of the address in manually for Safari's autocomplete to find it, but it wouldn't find the address, which is very new, but does exist, and as I have said, loads in the other three browsers with a simple paste and enter. This *+copy and paste+* method happens to be a very convenient means of loading some sites, with only one option being available, that is the exact address, rather than possibly several options that are offered up as one types part of the address, which have to be looked at and chosen from.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

*I confirm a similar bug exists on Safari 5.0.2 for Windows, running on a 32bit Windows XP SP3.*
Description
1. You copy an URL, not matter how you copy it (copy the URL text, or from another browser address bar, or from a webpage using the contextual menu "Copy Link", and etc)
2. When you try to paste in the Safari address:
===(i) if you use keyboard shortcut Control-V to paste in the URL, and press ENTER - everything is normal, meaning you will leave your previous webpage and go to the new page with that URL you pasted in using Control-V
===(ii) if you right click on the Safari address bar, invoke the contextual menu that popups from there, and choose "Paste" from the menu,and then hit ENTER after you paste in the new URL:
*======(A) the new URL you pasted in will disappear.*
*======(B) the old URL before your paste, will re-appear in the address bar.*
*======(C) the cumulative effect this operation will be the same that you reload the previous page.*
This is the symptoms on 32bit Windows.
*It seems in the current build of Safari for Win, "Paste" command from a menu denotes something different from its shortcut "CTRL-V".*
This is a very weird thing.
Just for the record, Safari 5.0.2 on Mac OSX 10.6.4 doesn't share the bug.
*By the way, I have also surveyed the exactly version and build numbers for both the Safari versions:*

Just for completeness, what version of VB.NET are you using?

I like to use multiple desktops and move back and forth between then using gestures. At the moment I have 5 open: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Photoshop CS 6 and a desktop. I use "gestures" to navigate between them:

and I use Mission Control (F3) to move the various desktops around in the order I want them.

So say I'm searching for a photo to open in CS 6, I find it on the open desktop then hit select "open" in CS 6 and go to that folder in the select pane.
Even right now I'm typing this in Safari and "gesturing" back to Chrome where I did the search about multi touch and mission control. I drag copy the URL there and gestured back here to paste the URL into this text.
If you did a lot of photo searches, I set professional clients of mine in Chicago up with dual monitors (In this case you'd have an external monitor on extended desktop.). So all you need to do is just glance over at the second monitor slide your cursor over there open stuff up find your photo and go back to Photoshop and open it up.

How to put my podcasts into playlist folders? Can't drag'em.
I've subscribed to a number of podcasts & they appear in my iTunes window under the Podcasts section.
There i have
2 problems:
1st: I can't rearrange or group them so can listen consecutively to different topics.
I must listen to one, then come to the keyboard and select the next to start playing. Now, I know that I can get them to play consecutively once I've placed them into Playlist folders,
but that brings me to my second problem:
2) I can't drag and drop them into separate iTunes FOLDERS (by topics).
(Though I have been able to drag&drop separate items from my 'Music' section into iTunes playlist folders.)
But can't drag from Podcasts section into Playlists,
as everytime I try they just refuse to go in and scurry back to their starting position under Podcasts.
Zupwidiss? This can't be.
I would be grateful for your solution.
And also grateful if I could have easily found the solution explained
before I had to resort to bothering this forum with this question.

Playlists and Playlist Folders:
One can only drag things from the Master list into PLAYLISTS.
And can only drag Playlists into Playlist Folders.
I'm an older man, and easily confused by these things.

If you’re using a Windows PC, you can eject iPod shuffle by clicking the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the Windows system tray and selecting your iPod shuffle.

Hello! Love some help on this seemingly simple problem....
I am new to BlackBerry from iphone and am very happy except I have to wait for the 30 second time out before I put into my pocket... because I can't figure out how to put it to sleep or at least activate the lock screen instantly.
On or off the settings/lockscreen option doesn't seem to do anything. I have not a password lock activated and prefer not too if possible.
I am on the latest os fyi.
Can anyone help??

You can put your Q10 to sleep simply by pressing (and not holding) the power button up top. A quick press will put it to sleep.

I'm in the same position, but from Firefox 0.8 ''(yes, before 1.0)'' up until the last year or so I was running '''one''' toolbar when I had one "tab" open. I didn't go with a "hide single tab" add-on when Firefox started showing a single tab because I always had 2 tabs open anyways so it wasn't a big deal for me.

I am using Developer/2000 (Forms Designer) under windows 98.
Please tell me how to put the SQL-statement value (as a default value) into the field before enter-query mode. Noted that I have tried the following ways but still some problems:-
1) Place the SQL-statement into PRE_QUERY trigger in the form/block level.
There is a message box which ask 'Do you want to save the changes?'.
2) Place the SQL-statement before execute enter_query. There is still a
message box which ask 'Do you want to save the changes?'.
Any hints? Thanks. Urgent.
