5230 Nuron - Saving pics sent in txt msgs

I can't seem to save pictures sent in text messages but I could before today. I open the message, Select the image to open it, In the open image I press Options -> Save... and it just goes back to the message and doesn't save the image. I tried pressing Options -> Objects -> Options ->Save in the message and it just takes me back to the Inbox and doesn't save the image. It worked before. As I recall, it would ask me if I wanted to save it to the phone or the memory card. I would select the memory card and it would save it and tell me its been saved to the gallery. It's not doing that now. I checked the memory and I still have a 1gb of space on the card and 41.5 mb on the phone so room to save it isn't an issue. Any ideas?

Do you have an option to view image, and from there option to save ?

is there some trick to saving a picture to my gallery that I receive in a txt? a menu screen flashes very quickly when I select the picture (to zoom) from the txt message, but doesn't stay...so i cannot save the picture to my gallery. nothing in the manual on how to do this, either....help!

In the conversation list, long press the picture you want, this will bring up an options menu, then choose save.

Can't sent International Txt msg. My new iphone 4s does everything perfectly except sms to any international number.

Can't send text messages to international numbers, even numbers I can easily make a voice call.

Is it all international texts? Or only to a specific person or country? My experience has been that international texting, even on a properly provisioned account, can be hit or miss. It seems to be somewhat dependent on the particular carrier at the other end. Some work. Some don't.

Or remove you from his, it's moot because You and He are the same account, either get him his own (they are free) or live with this cozy but privacy compromised method.

Select the phone number or email that the device uses to send messages.

Using Windows: Send to -- Mail recipient, msg is sent OK, but not saved in Sent folder, with err msg about it. Sending from within Thunderbird: msg saved OK.

When using Windows 8.1 context menu: Send to --> Mail recipient, message is sent OK, but not saved in Sent folder, with error massage: There was an error saving the message to Sent. Retry? (selecting Retry doesn't help).
Similar issue happens when I open a ".eml" file and Reply of Forward it.
When composing a new message from within Thunderbird, all is OK, including saving in the Sent folder.

Compacting all folders of the account.
Uninstall Thunderbird and install the latest version (31.6.0).

Can no longer see today's txt msg but next can

In the last few days I noticed that I can't see txt msg history of today. In late in the evening I can't see txt msg sent and received in the morning. The next day I can see the previous day's activities. Did Verizon change their policy or is this some type of setting that I can control?

Interesting...I just logged on to see if my daughter (who texts a LOT) had more recent or more delayed info than me, or my husband, and we don't text a lot but I did exchange a few with my Mom this morning.
The texts from this morning were there, my daughter had texts from an hour ago...and I had one at 4:22 this afternoon, and it's not even 2:00 here....so I'm not only getting up to the minute (hour) information, I'm getting future text information?? I wonder if that has to do with where the text originated? It was a forward from my email account....hmmm....

Saving pictures sent in text message to centro album...

Can somebody help me? I'm fairly green to the whole computer & smartphone world... Let me apologize beforehand.
I'm looking for some assistance saving pictures sent to me as a text message to my centro album. I do not have email access on my phone so I'm looking for a way to hot sync them to my PC as I'm able to do with the pictures I take myself.

I have verizon but i was having the same problem but i just kept messing around. to save picture txt on a palm centro into the palm album, you click on the image icon that appears next to the txt, and then you press the button that is next to the alt key. and that will give you a list of things to do, including save picture and you can select which album you want to save it to

How to get photos from txt msgs into gallery, and to my home pc

I have no problem getting photos from Gallery into my home PC (Windows 7) using the USB cord. I cannot figure out how to save a photo which has been sent to me via txt msg. tried the bottom left menu, and nothing there to help.

Try doing a long press directly over photo, see if it brings up a menu of options to do to the attachment/photo. One should be "Save to storage" or something like that.

Sending txt msg with pictures attached.

I am having trouble sending pics via txt msg. I can send regular txt but when I add a pic it gets returned as undeliverable.

Is your cellular data turned on? Does it happen with all contacts or just a few? Can you send yourself a picture text from your phone?

I can't txt msg on my n70

I bought a new N70 in the chicago nokia store over the weekend to use with my provider, T-Mobile.
I'm able to use everything on the phone, except txt msg.
i can send pic msgs and receive pic and txt msgs.
i can make and receive phone calls.
i can access the web, although my phone isn't supported on tmobiles t-zones.
when i try to send a txt msg, an error msg pops up saying unable to send msg. does anyone have any ideas why i can't?

Sounds like you need to get and set the SMS service centre options.
If you have the option, set to send SMS via MMS (as you know that's working).

how can you cancel a txt msg before its sent out....(while in the "sending" process?

Make sure you've typed your message correctly before you press send.
Seriously though, I don't think there's a way. It's been discussed before, I believe.

TXT Msg Inbox dilemma

My N95 8GB Standard SMS/TXT Inbox seems to show the the senders name in Last Name, First Name order.
Can this be changed to having it show the senders name in First Name, Last Name order?
I have noticed that my other inboxes - email etc - show the senders or callers name in First Name, Last Name order. To date I have not been able to find anywhere that will tell me how & where this can be done let alone acheived.

I already have that setting done.
It seems that it only affects the TXT Msg Inbox.
My S60 Animated Messages are appearing in First Name Last Name order in both my sent and received boxes this is NOT the case with standard TXT/SMS Messages that I send or receive. Theses still show as Last Name First Name order which is frustrating and still can not find a setting that changes the order in this area.
I have checked every setting right through the phone and still nothing seems to change the way that the Sender or Received From fields display in the Standard TEXT Message Areas of the N95 8GB.

Phones won't receive txt msgs

Have two phones in the household and right now all I get on both for txt msgs is an icon. I click on download and get message that says cannot download now try again later. I get this crap every day. Why? Most msgs are 1kb and another 30kb.
And why does my service almost dissapppear almost everyday after 9:00PM?

I am having issues recieving text messages on my Thunderbolt as well. I have went to a Verizon store and spoke with a representative who after discussion and contacting the company's customer service sent me a replacement phone. I will randomly not receive text messages. Some I do get and others I don't, I am also not receiving phone calls at random as well. It will ring on the other person's end and they will receive my voicemail but won't ring on my end nor will it show that I have a missed call. This is becoming increasingly frustrating and becoming a pain to try and do day to day business. I had someone, fellow Verizon customer, try for 2 weeks to send me a texts and not once did it ever come through on my end. I would really like some answers as to what is causing this and what can be done to fix this. The frustration is getting to the point that I am thinking of cancelling my contract, which I don't want to do.
