  • Sound Notifications for Missed Calls and Text Messages

Aside from the very small green light in the upper right corner (Bionic) - is there a way to get audio notifications for missed calls and texts?  I'm missing a lot of calls and texts because I'm not checking the screen constantly.  Thanks!

I am not sure about the Bionic phone specifically but I am pretty sure there should be notification sounds.
My phone, the Droid 2 global has ringtons, and notification sounds separately.
Have you tried looking in the sound settings?

  • CUCM sending e-mails for missed calls..

We are waiting for a solution to get missed calls to exchange/outlook - like other vendors ( Siemens or MS-OCS with the ESTOS GW ) who can deliver such urgent needed features. Or is there a solution from Cisco already in place ?

    Hi Patrick,
    thanks for your response.
We have already OCS with RCC in place. But its like with CUPC. We get only information for missed calls on Computers when the client is running. This is true for MOC and for CUPC. The problem is for users who are on tour and want to look into a computer system for missed calls. This can be Outlook or another system which they can access from remote. This could be the also the webinterface of the Ciscop IP Phone. But there is no authentication nor Call history implemented.

  • LED For Missed calls

Hi, my LED is not blinking for missed calls since a couple of days. Before it was working well. It used to blink for any missed call for 15 mins. And for the rest LED is working well.
    Help me..

    Try this -
When you device is POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery. This make a reboot to your device which resolves minor issues with the BlackBerry device.

  • Alerts for FaceTime calls

I used to receive alerts, or I believe I did, for FaceTime calls on my iPhone but no longer. What happened? How do I restore them?

First off thanks for responding so quickly.
No the mute is not engaged (that was one of the first things I checked out.)
So yes my phone is ringing, but as I've now missed several FT calls I don't think I was receiving any notification for them.

  • Phone does not alert on missed call

Phone will only alert one time on missed call. How do you set?

You're welcome. That multiple alert setting is only for Messages. You might want to take a look at the User Guide in your spare time. http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1565/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf

  • CCMS Alert for missing filesystem

    Hi Experts,
We are facign an issue in transports as /usr/sap/trans mount went missing after last server reboot and did not get mounted.
For this we will have to schedule another maintenance to remount this.    To avoid such scenario in future; we need to set up ccms alert so that we receive alert if any filesystem is missing. We are already getting ccms alerts for filesystem size, CPU usage etc using hostagent and saposcol.
Please help if its possible to have alert if any filesystem is not mounted. If yes; please help is proceeding in that direction
    Thanks

  • How to disable "slide to call" feature for missed calls from lock screen on ios7

I realized that when the iphone (running iOS7) is locked, the“Slide to Call” allows anyone to make an outgoing call to the missed calls from a locked phone (with passcode).
it is nice feature for people who don't care about locking their phone.but I believe there should be an option to disable the “slide to call” or at least require password before allowing the outgoing call to go through.
This is a serious security issue.it should be user configurable.
Hope Apple will take it seriously and release a update for the same.

You can provide feedback to Apple here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

  • Option to disable the "slide to call" feature for missed calls from lock screen

I realized that when the iphone (running iOS5) is locked, the“Slide to Call” allows anyone to make an outgoing call to the missed calls from a locked phone (with passcode). This may allow malicious and unwanted calls to be made from a locked phone by anyone having access to the phone and defeats the purpose of having the phone locked by a passcode.
Don't get me wrong, it is nice feature for people who don't care about locking their phone, but I believe there should be an option to disable the “slide to call” or at least require password before allowing the outgoing call to go through.
At this point the only option that I see is to disable the phone related notifications from lock screen, which prevents all phone related notifications to be displayed on lock screen (missed or voicemail). This is not a desired solution.....
This is the first time in the history of iOSes, that a user can make outgoing calls from a locked phone with a passcode. Even the voice commands (for dialling a number) have option to be disabled on locked screen.
I was wondering if anybody else feels the same way about this? or have a solution?

I share the same feeling with you about this issue.
Actually I was very surprised when I discovered that!
In addition to this, when you actually slide a missed call, it calls the person and when you end the call, the notification of the missed call is still present! So that person can be called again and again and again.
This is a serious issue that Apple has overlooked!
    Please secure the iOS 5.
    Thanks.

  • How to edit number times Reminded for missed calls/test ios 5.0.1?

Hi, I have the iphone4 on i.o.s 5.0.1 (jailbroken with sn0wbreeze) and everytime i get a missed call/text, I am reminded within 1 minute or so. How do I change the number of times I am reminded/or the interval in which I am reminded ?
I've searched but only see people talking about MissReminder for the i.o.s 4 firmware. I remember I was able to do so in the i.o.s 4.3.5 (what I bought my phone with) before, but cannot finding anything in settings to do so this time. Am I just missing something ? or does it have to do with how I jailbroke it ?

On an unjailbroken iPhone you adjust the missed reminder for texts in Settings>Notifications>Messages.

  • How do I get rid of the number next to the "phone" icon for missed calls on iPhone 4?

I realize that this number is telling me the number of missed calls and/or voicemails.   However, the number remains on the main screen after I have looked at the missed call (opened "phone" and then "missed").  I can only figure out how to get it to go away when I call the number of the missed call from the missed call menu, which I don't always want to do.  How can I make the number go away without calling the number for the call that I missed? It's probably a silly question but thanks for helping!

I have same issue I dont want to call it and why should I have to go to Voicemail when there is no voicemail?? My screen did go dark and when I relit it it went away...very weird???

  • Why not adding a reminder for missed calls by pushing notifications to all the platform

    en Why not

iCloud does not have support for telephone calls.  iCloud for Mac would not be the proper place to put notifications for something not supported by the product.  Perhaps you wanted to make a suggestion to the iPhone team?

  • N73 ME: Log for Missed Calls

Hi Guys, if I receive a missed call from the same number more than once, I can see the date and time of only the last missed call in my call logs. Is it really so in N73? Coz in my old Nokia 6230, I could see the date and time of last 5 missed calls from the same number. Or am I missing something ? Any workarounds ?

On my E70 I was in trouble with the same thing, but then after days of struggling I found a place to see all the time stamps.
You go to the Log, then move to the right with the joystick to see the overall log of all events, now clicking on each entry shows the time of the event, direction, type, etc. I can also browse through them by moving the joystick to left/right.
I suppose it's the same on N73 as the OS is the same and the user manual shows exactly the same screen shot as I see on my E70.
    hope this helps.

    Mait

  • Timestamp for missed calls

When a missed call is registered, is the time stamp that is written based on the callers time zone, or the local time of the person who was called?
[Topic title updated by moderator to be more descriptive. Original topic title was: "time"]

    Hi,
The timestamp is always the time of the recipient of the missed call.

  • Reminder sound for missed calls, SMS or voicemail????

I would like to find out whether the iPhone 3G has the capability of generating a reminder sound or vibrate when a call, SMS or voicemail was missed. Right now, I have to "wake-up" the screen to see. My old phone had that capability, and I thought it was very useful. If the phone itself can't do it, is there an application that can compensate for that missed feature? Thanks for your help.

I was just thinking about that the other day. On my former phones (treo, samsung flip, well ANY other former phone I've ever had) there was at least an led that would blink to tell me I missed a call, had a voicemail, etc...
With the iPhone I have to wake up the screen to see if I've missed a call. Pretty annoying. I love the iPhone but this is just one more thing on the list that makes it stand out from all the other phones out there (and not in a good way!)
    Oh well.
