55L6200U has multiple horizontal lines

Hello, My Toshiba 55inch LED has horizontal lines going from left to right? It is only 1 year and 1 month old. Does anyone know what is wrong with it?

Hi I have a similar problem with black lines 1/4 from top to the bottom on my 50L 1350U which is now two months out of warrantee.
Was there something you diagnosed it was the main board vs the tcon board? I am trying to diagnose my problem and want to get the right board(s) to replace

First thing to try is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help take your iPad to an Apple Store for a consultation. Make an appointment first.

Display has irregular horizontal lines

My Macbook Pro (2009) display is showing vibrating irregular patches of horizontal lines. They seem to be green in areas that are black. Today I found a large patch of vibrating yellow lines in an area that is red. Any ideas why this is happening and what I should do about it?

Who else has faint horizontal lines in their 17" Display? Look closely!

Description: Every other horizontal pixel row appears brighter than the alternate, creating a scan-line style effect that also contributes to the washing out of the display. In seemingly random "luck of the draw" machines, lines can either be highly visible or not be present at all.
In displays where it is faint, you may not notice, but once you become aware of it is a real problem if you work closely with your computer, and graphics.
This appears to be the same issue that has been widely reported in the past with Macbook Air computers.
The three computers that I have had this issue with:
1 - Glossy, 9C99, lines visible even from three feet away.
2 - Glossy, 9C99, lines about half the visibility
3 - Matte, 9CAC, lines again about half the visibility of #1
I have also had 3 glossies and 1 matte that have not had these lines at all. 3 Unibody 15" MBPs have also not had any such lines. I have also been unable to detect these lines on any non-Apple computers I have observed, nor any of Apple's other models or displays.
I put a 17" Matte without the lines next to one with the lines and attempting to take photos, but could not get them to turn out at all for a variety of annoying reasons (unclear image, moire effects, etc). I was however able to take extremely close macro shots and there is a difference visible in the pixel arrangements, apparently.
Who else has this one their display?

It exists regardless of graphics chip selection or resolution. The machines either seem to have it or they don't. It seems to be something in how they are made. What I see in the close-up photos seems to suggest a variation in the layout of the pixel diodes in the display. I really want to know how many others have this in their display. Maybe there was a small bad run of them over a few months or maybe they are a multitude with this issue.

IMac has coloured horizontal lines in the menu bar

Do you know what is causing this? It occurs quite often even after restarting. YouTube videos also flash green a lot while watching them. The volume indicator also displays as below. It's a mid-2011 iMac12,2.

Help!! My Zen V Plus has a black line across the disp

Hi can someone please help me, my v plus display has a horizontal line across the screen and it really ruins everything. Can this still be fixes? Would anyone know this problem or had the same experience?

I have had similar bugs. If your player is still in warranty, your best bet would be to contact the store of purchase or Creative, explain your problem and ask for a replacement.

6310 horizontal line appears when copying

Officejet 6310 all in one when I try to copy the page the copied page has 3 horizontal lines going right through the centre of the page one wider than the other two lines. What can I do. Also I am trying to print on a thicker page which I have previously done before and the paper doesnt go through the printer is printing but the paper has only moved slighting into the printer.

Just in case a potective plastic film is still on the lense ...

Screen Distortion (Horizontal lines) Across Display

For quite some time now my Macbook display has had horizontal lines along the right side of it. These lines go from the very top to the bottom and are about an inch or two in width. Sometimes goes away when i have a Pages document open. But is constantly there otherwise.

If you have already had a case number with Apple for this issue and it is not resolved, you ought to be able to have it serviced. Call AppleCare and reference the old case number, and explain that the first fix did not fix the problem, and because you brought this to Apple's attention before your warranty expired, they should still do the repair for free.
You can test for whether it is faulty RAM by pulling out one stick at a time and testing whether the lines persist.

Horizontal lines in panning footage?

I have shot some footage for a client and I have to make a WMV and a QT version for the web but when I export the footage it looks blocky and has jagged horizontal lines as the camera pans past the subject matter, should I apply a filter to the footage?
It was shot on Sony Z1 SD footage PAL!!

You need to de-interlace before you output to QT and WMV. There's a basic de-interlace filter built-in to Final Cut Pro or you can get a higher quality 3rd-party de-interlacing tool.

Hp 2711x Monitor horizontal line across screen

Monitor HP 2711x has a horizontal line about 2/3 the way down, completely across the screen about 1 pixel wide. The line looks like a slice trough the current screen image to some kind of image behind the current open windows, but there is no such image behind. Adjusting the screen resolution turns the screen black monentarily which sets the line's color to black when the screen reappears, but then the line changes to again look like a slice through the current window to some kind of false window behind. Rotating the screen image does not rotate the line. Adjusting the screen reolution does not alter the line. Resetting the monitor to factory default does not alter the line. Changing the PC providing input to the screen does not change the line.
Latest HP driver is installed. Monitor's serial number:[Personal Information Removed]. Any suggested fix, please? Thank you.

40 inch Samsung LCD White Horizontal lines running up the screen constantly

My brand new Samsung 40 inch tv (purchased in mid-December) has white horizontal lines running up the screen constantly. From what I heard, the electricity in my house my not be grounded, but no other tv in my house does this, so I doubt this is the case. Has anybody else had this issue and is it too late to return the tv? Thanks.

Does it do it on other sources like a DVD? If so you may have a TV problem. Have you tried to do a factory reset or restore? Have you tried plugging it into an outlet in a different part of the house? As a last resort have you tried taking it back to the store and see if it works there? Also have you tried a filter on the AC plud in? Just some suggestions to try and help you out.
