5610 2610 Removing themes - or just get simple bla...
I just got a couple of new phones, and unlike my last nokia (and all previous), the screens have colourful themes. I cannot get rid of the themes.
With my eyesight, it would be a lot easier if there was a simple black and white theme, so the display stands out with
high contrast. I can use it with glasses, but I don't wear reading glasses all the time.
The best theme on the 2510 is a bamboo one, which still has a background image.
The ones supplied for the 5610 are not easy to read. I have found a white/orange theme for the 5610, but that does not highlight the icons, and the orange is still not ideal.
The standard nokia themes have a blue background, and I cannot seem to change that. The operator theme is also a blue background - very cool, but not helpful.
Are there any high contrast/accessible themes?
Can I turn themes off in any way?
Try adjusting the screen font colour to a pale yellow ... yellow on blue is the best combination to make the font stand out! Menu->Settings->Display->Standby font colour and choose from there, for me the 2nd to last (Pale Yellow) gives the best result!

I have windows 8.1. I have downloaded the mts files from my video camera onto my hard drive. I have loaded a subset of these mts files into premier elements and they show up fine. I can bring them to the time line without a problem. The issue is that when I click on them, I only get the audio and no video. Normally when you click a thumbnail, the picture shows in the large screen. That screen remains blank.

3. Rebooted and checked APE and no change in the problem. Still doesn't show video when I double click an thumbnail or if I single click it does not show a video image in the large screen.
4. Some things I have done to try to resolve the problem.
a. Searched this forum for a similar problem. I didn't see one.
b. Did a web search to see if I could find a solution outside this forum
c Went into "edit" and tried some changes in project preferences and setting to see if that would make a difference
d. Tried to contact Adobe support to speak to a person but that seemed difficult and could never figure out how to do it.
5. I have always loaded AVI clips into this program and this is the first time I have tried MTS files. When I opened the new project, the program notified that I had to change something??? to load an MTS file and asked me if I wanted the program to do this for me. I said yes and here I am. I seem so close to making it work. Thanks -
When I usually go into yahoo mail, there is an icon at the top left hand side to access my calendar and notepad. They are both gone, but there is a field in the bottom left corner that has the buttons. When I click on either one, I just get a blank screen. I've not updated by Firefox to a new version and can't imagine what happened overnight.
This sounds more like it's a temporary problem with Yahoo's mail website. My advice at this point is to see if this fixes itself within a few hours. If not, please come back (actually, do come back regardless and let us know if your problem is solved).

How do I even end up with multiple desktops and how do I remove them. All gets very confusing!

At the top of your screen should be all your desktops simply hover your mouse around the top left area of one of them (apart from the first one) and a X will appear which you can click to close it -
iCal reports that it can't find server, and lots of data from several years ago is trying to get attention. Cannot bring up calendar in any view to use. also keeps loading unused calendar websites from long ago. I can' remove them. what to do?
UPDATE: I had 36 Safari windows open and minimized on the dock from my last session; 20 of those windows failed to open b/c Safari "couldn't find the server"; I just went to the URL bar of all 20 pages and clicked return, and all 20 pages loaded perfectly, without dropping any images or losing formatting. This is a puzzle!!!

I downloaded a You Tube downloader, and expected an icon to come up when You Tube was playing, according to a friend's advice.
Since this didn't happen I assumed the download didn't work, or was an old version that doesn't work anymore. I wanted to just get rid of it and try another downloader.
I went to Tools--> Add-ons--> and clicked on the downloaded software and saw the 2 options [Disable] and [Uninstall]. The terminology is unclear, as I've always thought once software resides on your computer you can install it or uninstall it without erasing it from the computer.
A simple question that seems obvious except to someone who wants to be very precise and sure. Basically "does [Uninstall] mean erase from the computer"?
ThanksWith Firefox extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) you have two possibilities. You can disable an extension if you do not want to use it now, but want to keep it. Or you can uninstall an extension and remove it from the computer. Note that uninstalling an extension still leaves prefs in about:config (prefs.js) and possibly files in the profile folder that will be reused in case you decide to reinstall an extension at a later time.

Just update to Pages 5.1 - its dropped the pictures from my old Pages files - 'Some features aren't supported - objects in table cells were removed' - how do I get the pictures back?

I've had the Ipod for a while (by 4th generation, I figured you could tell), and I just want to get the pictures off of it so I have more space for music. I can't figure out how to do so, so any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you have photos on your iPod nano that you would like to remove. These pictures would have had to have been synced over through iTunes from a folder on your computer. This article outlines how to sync photos to your device, but you can also use it to disable photo syncing and remove them as well:

After Purchasing Music I'm Getting Duplicates and Can't Remove Them
I've downloaded 2 albums recently and in both cases they've caused duplicates to be placed on my iPhone 4S. I do not have this issue on my iPad 2 for some reason.
The first album I downloaded on to my iPhone using the iTunes app. All 14 tracks were duplicated. When I went to change the genre of the songs in iTunes and resync'd, then half of the songs had the original genre and the other half the new genre. I deleted the Purchased playlist, didn't remove the dups. I unchecked music syncing in iTunes, deleted all the music EXCEPT the dups. Finally I just had to erase the whole phone and start new. Weak.
The second album I downloaded tonight on my iMac thru iTunes. When I synced my iPhone and iPad, only on the iPhone did I get duplicates... this time, however, only for tracks 7 thru 16! Again, I have no way to get rid of them and I don't even see them listed twice when I look at my music list on the iPhone 4S from iTunes on the iMac.
No, I do not have iCloud or iTunes Match/Connect/whatever.
Any idea why this is happening and how do I get rid of the duplicates???

CurtOK, I don't know why it's happening, but I figured out a way to fix things on my iPhone.
With this last album, even though I made the purchase and download on my iMac in iTunes, for some reason my iPhone 4S showed that I purchased tracks 7-16 and these were the duplicated tracks. However, the iTunes app showed that I downloaded all the tracks.
So, regardless, I deleted the album out of iTunes (of course, backing up the folder with the songs in my home directory). Then I right clicked on my iPhone in iTunes on the iMac and had it transfer purchases. When this happened, my iTunes on the iMac showed the dups. Removing them in iTunes on the iMac didn't help. But, by going to the Artist and then swiping on the offending album from right to left, the option to delete the album on the iPhone appeared.
Then I re-added the album to my main playlist and synced again. And now my iPhone has no more dups. Still, this is obviously a bug with Apple on the iPhone (as I don't have this problem at all on the iPad and both are running iOS 5.0). -
While dragging 3000 pictures to trash, I accidently released them on desktop. Now, I just get spinning wheel and everything is frozen. Using OS 10.6.8.
What can I do??See my post in the link below to see how to remove the images from a straight command line startup. The instructions are to remove JPEG images, which I'm assuming is the case here.

I have an iPhone5, 16 gb and a 120 gb iPod. All my songs won't fit on the iPhone of course. How can I just get some of them on the iPhone? I want to keep all my music on the iPod, but just want SOME of my music on the iphone. I am VERY new to all this so be gentle and thanks.

I have about 130 gigs of movies on my iTunes and was wondering if I can just put them on my backup hard drive and remove them from my main computer to free up the space.
I haven't done this with an external drive, but I would imagine it works the same way as if you have multiple internal drives. Also hopefully it works with less headache in OSX than in windows.
Anyway, move all your music over to your external, and then go into itunes -> preferences -> advanced -> iTunes media folder location. Navigate to your drive, and pick the folder you want. Ensure that your folders are set up like they are in your ~/Music/iTunes folder, or wherever your iTunes is currently pointing. Then quit and restart itunes. If your music doesn't show up, try dragging your music folder from your external onto itunes, and it will hopefully update your library.xml.
As far as Jerry's problem goes, you could try adding another music folder to your library.xml, but I really have no idea whether this will work or not. If you want to give it a try (can't promise you won't corrupt your library.xml, so make a copy beforehand) you can find the music folder xml element right near the top of the xml file (open it with textedit/textmate/whatever text editor you want (NOT WORD)). Curious to know if this works, and if it doesn't I have other ideas so let me know. -
Many of the internet radio stations that I usually listen to are no longer working. When I click on them, they either get stuck in connecting or just jump to the next station below. What gives?
Same thing here. Always listened to 96.9 The Eagle but not anymore. Skipped to the next station down.

Problem connecting wirelessly from iMac to NETGEAR router, get invalid password message with WPA and WPA-2 encryption in place but if I remove them, so no security, can connect without a problem. Help!!
Thank you for your suggestion but I have already had a couple of phone sessions with NETGEAR support and they don't see any problems with the router settings etc. They referred me to Apple support, who helped me discover that it is possible to communicate with the router but only if I turn off the encryption/security software, which I don't want to do. The frustrating thing is that I can connect wirelessly from a laptop running Windows 7 and two Anroid smart phones, with WPA-2 in place, without a problem. Do you have any other ideas?

My old laptop broke (idk what kind) and my iTunes was on there and now i got a new macbook pro. how do i get my itunes music and videos and etc. on this computer without removing them on my phone? please help!
If the old laptop was a mac also, then use your Time Machine backup to restore you user settings and files.

Hi All, Can any one point me to FM's to create an attachment to a workitem so can be used to display the attachment in the subsequent steps. I am confused with the SAPI_WAPI* ones and SO_ATTACHMENT_INSERT. Which one would be the right ones. I just ne
