5610 keeps asking for my pin at random intervals

Hi all,
My 5610 Xpress Music has recently started asking for my pin at random intervals for no reason.
My phone is on all day and every 1 - 2 hours i check it and the screen is asking me to enter my PIN, which i do and then it's working as normal again. This happens throughout the whole day.
Any ideas what's up? Have i maybe changed one of the settings by accident? (entirely possible - =D)

there could be prob with the im retainer try cleaning the sim and the points in the retainer

try updating the sofrtware if possible
then you can try a factory reset by typing in *#7780# security code is 12345
if all fails it needs to go to a nokia care point

Keeps asking for password

Why doe my iPad keep asking for my password frequently? Can someone please help?

I too am having the same problem.
It appears to be fairly random. Often when I open up my iPad it comes up, or in the middle of a game or when I start apps.
Occasionally the screen says unable to purchase GRand Theft Auto III and 42 other items. This shouldn't be an issue as I have managed to purchase GTIII and all apps and all have installed all correctly and they work.
I have synced, and re synced turned off fully, Logged out fully from ITunes disabled auto updates ...everything. Even checked on my PC for available downloads and again it says there are none waiting. Still it haunts me. I mentioned GT III as I wondered if others may have had a similar problem?
Hope you can help, as it getting very frustrating. I should add lastly that I don't have the same problem on my IPhone 4S.

Urgent help required - linked subreport keeps asking for parameter value

I have developed a report in the Crystal Reports bundled with Visual Studio 2005. The data is obtained from a stored procedure. One of the fields in the result set is named "Id".
I have embedded a subreport in the details row of the main report. The subreport also gets its information from a stored procedure. This stored procedure has one parameter named "OpportunityId". This field is linked to the field named "Id" above. the subreport has been set to supress blank subreports.
In the development environment and running the executable of the application on the development machine the report works perfectly. The subreport displays as it should and all is well.
When I deploy the report onto user machines where they have the crystal runtime installed, the report keeps asking for a parameter value for the subreport.
I cannot get this to stop happening.
This report is urgently required. PLEASE could someone help me out here.
I am at my wits end.

- the two stored procedure
- the rpt file
- a sample report
- a screen showing the report having just been generated

ICloud Restore stuck - keeps asking for old Apple ID

I've just gotten a iPhone 4S that I want to restore from an iCloud backup (I've had a 3GS previously). Unfortunately I'm running into problems as the restore process just doesn't finish. Some settings are restored just fine (contacts, messages, browser history, ...) while others are causing problems. In particular the photos & apps are not being downloaded. Apps are recognized but just sit on my screen "waiting".
I suspect that the cause for all this is that the last backup is from March 2012 (my 3GS died then) and in the meantime I've changed my Apple ID. During the restore it keeps asking for my old Apple ID, which is not longer active & I cannot log into.
Now I'm stuck since the phone decides to set the iCloud account to the old one and this cannot be changed as it tells me that I cannot delete the iCloud account during a restore is in progress...
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Unforunately I don't have an iTunes backup and I really don't want to lose my data (especially the photos).

The solution to fix this mess was to temporarily change my AppleID name back to the one that was active when the iCloud backup was being made.

I bought a £15 itunes card to download some music on to my iphone but it wont take any money off it and keeps asking for my card details,

This is the first time i have brought an itunes voucher to use on my iphone, i have been able to redeem it and it shows up on my account but it wont take any money off it and it just keeps asking for my apple id all over agin and for my card details....... slowly loosing the will to live and all the help websites just use all these terms i dont understand, Any help will be much appreciated!!! See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. But you'll still need the password.
Once you have the computer authorized to use the account she could change the password again to stop you buying apps on her card (assuming it's not on yours!). It would lock you out of upgrading them too but they should work unless she uses the deathorize all feature.

My i touch wont let me in the itunes store. Keeps asking for my password.

I have a few issues going on...... My i touch is a few years old. The battery wont hold a charge, I can not plug it directly into the computer... not a strong enough charge.
I havent used it in about a year now. I found it this week, tried to use it...every thing works fine..... emails, home security alarm, games,photos, music.All good. Even did updates on apps. I am trying to put my ipad back to factory settings and it keeps asking for my original Id which is the reason I am needing to reset it. When I try to do this via password prompts it asks for my date of birth which I enter correctly and it tells me it is incorrect and then trying the email route this does not send any emails to the registered accounts I set up originally - help!!

My guess is all the issues are probably related and fall back to malware.
AVG is probably correct in identifying malware. So I suggest you try some cleaning tools other than Emsisoft .

So first create a clean boot in Windows using Microsoft's instructions https://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135?wa=wsignin1.0 and then run the anti malware applications.
My outside looking in guess is that malware has set itself up as an internet proxy and is is downloading copies of itself and other malware, blocking some mail port as times as downloading more malware is more important, and probably breaking your tivo as well..
Try the malware programs first. If that does not work I will try and talk you through some logging to see what is happening.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
