  • How Async messages can be resend/restarted? Please help!

    Hi Experts,
I have read that Async messages are persistent that is XI stores Async messages in database. That means Async messages can be resend or restarted on the event of a failure.
    1. Will the XI server resend/restart async messages automatically or we have to restart manually from SXMB_MONI transaction? Is there any other transaction from where Async messages can be resend or restarted?
    2. Is there any setup needed to make Async messages restartable? Where do we do this? Can this be done for Sync messages?
    Please help me.
    Thanks
    Gopal

  • All USB stops working after restarting iMac, please help!

I am having a serious problem with my iMac and i'm at a loss of what to do. I have a 24" imac with 10.5.6 and about a week or two ago I restarted my computer only to find that none of my USB ports were working. I thought it was a fluke so i just restarted again, only to find out that they still wernt working. I was forced to do a restore because I couldn't find a fix so I booted up from my leopard disc and did a restore from my time machine backup. I thought all was well and good until i restarted again yesterday. The same exact thing happened so I did another restore. Well, I just needed to restart my computer again and what do you know, my USB stopped working again! I have repaired permissions, done the apple hardware test, reset the PRAM, and verified the disc to see if there was anything wrong with it. I am at a total loss on what to do and Im really not looking forward to doing another restore only to have it do the exact same thing. Please help!

If you haven't tried this, try resetting the SMC: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1543?viewlocale=en_US
When you booted from the restore disk, did you run Disk Utility to check the hard disk for errors?
If not... make sure and disconnect anything connected to the USB ports first,
    To check the hard disk:
Open Disk Utility, in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder.
Insert your Mac OS X Install disc in your computer’s optical drive or an optical drive connected to your computer, and then restart your computer. When you hear the startup tone, hold down the C key until you see the progress indicator, which looks like a spinning gear.
Follow the onscreen instructions until the Menu Bar appears with the Utilities menu in it, choose Utilities > Disk Utility, click First Aid, and then click the Verify button. If DU reports errors, click Repair. When it's finished, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Disk. In the Startup Disk window select MacintoshHD 10.x.x and click Restart.
Also, click the Apple logo top left in your Desktop, click: About This Mac, then click: More Info
That will launch your System Profiler. Under Contents on the left, click: USB and make sure your USB information is there.

  • RESTART PROBLEM PLEASE HELP!!

i just purchased my macbook the other day and today i went to restart it, then a blue screen appeared and circling icon says it is working, it has been doing that for the past 15-20 mins. what shall i do reboot it? please help me ASAP, getting worried!!
    Thanks
    Macbook   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

    Welcome to the discussions!
What were you doing when you went to restart it? Were
    you doing a system update?
That still shouldn't happen. I would not let it sit
too long like that since the fans will likely kick
into overdrive. Unforunately, to get it to stop you
will need to pull the battery.
Try booting from the install disk and running the
Apple Hardware Test. See if it finds anything. If
not, then try booting again from the HD, and after it
    comes up, try repairing permissions.
If may be nothing, but running a few tests will help
narrow it down. Post back with the results.
Thank you for your help. i pulled the battery and now it boots up fine. i was just restarting to see if it worked, i was not doing updates or anything like that. i performed a apple hardware test and nothng was found wrong. but i dont know what you mean in trying repairing permissions. how do you do that? and also perform what tests are you saying?
Thank you again, i relieved now!

  • Firmware update failing and constant restart loop  PLEASE HELP

I was updating my firmware, the update that fixes problems with batteries over 1000 loads.
The loading bar on the apple screen gets half way, then it shuts down. I turn the computer on again and it just repeats.
    Please help.

Just giving an update incase somebody else might have this problem too.
I took it to my local Mac repair shop and it turns out  there was actually a problem with my hard drive, and the fact it decided to happen right after my firmware update was just a coincidence.

  • My iMac won't install updates after restart. Please help?

My iMac will restart to install updates, but after logging in again, nothing happens. Even if I click the Apple logo and go to "Software Update", it tells me it still has to install the updates and to restart again. Having to end up with nothing again. Help please? =(

Check /Library/Updates/ for folders with numbers. If there are any, open one and double-click the one with a dist extension. If that installs, then repeat with any others. If not, manually download the updates and then install them.

  • Urgent: Compulsive restart problem, PLEASE HELP.

Help me please!!! My iPod compulivly restarts itself when I conect it to a computer. I plug it in and the iPods screen says, connected, but it does NOT appear in iTunes or in the computer in any way. After mabye 40 sec, the "connected" screen disapers and the apple logo appears. The "connected screen appears and the prosess starts over! Can anyone help me?

Sounds like you might just need to charge it. Earlier iPods had a problem with charging where they would do what yours is doing when connected to a computer while dead. the 4G iPod was one of the ones affected. Buy a wall charger for it. That should fix the problem.

  • Powermac G5 "Please Restart Computer" PLEASE HELP!

I've searched on all the forums and I've tried all the fix's, but I still get the PLEASE RESTART COMPUTER error message.
I'm not sure if this is the problem, but here are the specs of the computer first:
    Powermac G5 Dual 2.0 Ghz
    2.5 Ghz Ram
    700 Gig HD
Hawking HWL2A Wifi Locator (USB Wireless) <-- I think this is it, but not sure.
    Things, I've done:
    1. I've ran a memory test using Rember, and it was successful with no errors found.
    2. I ran Disk Utility through the Install Disk and repaired / repaired permissions and no error was found.
    3. My S.M.A.R.T drive is verified and working.
Still, I'm getting the PLEASE RESTART YOUR COMPUTER message.

Much help would be appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to read this post!

Hey folks, I think I figured out the problem.
My USB Wireless: Hawking HWL2A was the culprit!
Since I've been using the USB, my error message would come up every 5 minutes from restarting my computer.
Now, I've disconnected the wireless and haven't used the USB for more than 30 minutes and I've been opening applications, playing chess, etc.. And NOT 1 error message has popped up.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what wireless card I can purchase for my Dual Powermac G5?
I've done some searching and found that the BELKIN 802.11g Wireless Desktop Network Card is compatible with the dual powermac g5. You think its better to go with this or a USB wireless?
    Please let me know...
    Thanks!

my macbook air works fine but i can't restart it. it freezes up and displays the thinking circle.  after i push the on/off button it shuts down fine and restarts fine.  please help

Ops I replied to myself in error.....
    Tom:
I performed the steps indicated but this morning when I clicked the mouse and hit the space key and clicked the track pad again as before nothing happens.
I hold the power button for a few seconds and the screen fills as if the computer was normally awakened but it is locked up.
Then I have to shut it down with the power button  and then power it up as a reboot.
Not good...SMC reset didn't work....Throughout the day yesterday I put the computer to sleep and woke it up normally.  It seems to be a overnight problem.
Am I going to have to shut it down everynight?

  • My ipad3 keeps on restarting, showing the apple logo then restarts again. please help m

It keeps on restarting everytime it is charge and then when unplug to power. just off.. seems like the battery is drained but coudn't charge it properly since it keeps on restarting..

This will probably not help, but try it first.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that fails, you probably need to restore your iPad and you may will probably need recovery mode. Read this all the way through before you try anything. Read the part at the end about using recovery mode.

  • All of my downloads fail instantly and when I close the browser normally, it says that the browser crashed and asks to restart. Please Help

Fairly recently I haven't been able to do any downloads off of my firefox client, they fail instantly. I am in desperate need to download my resume, as my resume file is also messed up (been using it for months but now it says its a read-only file), but that's another story. Also, when I normally close my firefox browser, the crash module pops up even though it was closed normally.
I also tried downloading with IE which failed, and saving a screenshot of the problem in paint refuses to save as well.
I built this custom PC this summer, and have just been getting one problem after another, so I would greatly appreciate it if I could get help fixing my firefox browser, as I have strictly been using firefox as my browser for the last 5+ years.

I'm at work and my MacBook Pro is connected wifi but a web page will not display. Other have the pros and is connect. Tried restarting but not working

You're not a liar. They should not charge you $90, it is within the 1-year warranty that comes with it and you are entitled to a free replacement. I have never had the problem myself on a 15 month old MacBook, so there must be SOMETHING that happened to it, maybe without you noticing. But might I recommend a wireless trackpad or Apple "Magic Mouse?"
