571 Server IP is blocked HELP!

Good Afternoon,
We recently have updated our IP address which was provided to us through SoftLayer and it appears as though in 2013 the IP had been listed as a spam account; which was two years before we were using the IP.
We have gone through the appropriate channels and have verified on http://mxtoolbox.com/ and http://www.sorbs.net that the IP address is not listed in any of the 95 directlories listed; however about every other day we need to fill out another delisting request through the http://my.verizon.com/micro/whitelist/RequestForm.aspx?id=isp.
So, every other day our e-mails go out to our drivers on tour and then they stop going through because of the following message:
Subject: Mail delivery failed: returning

Prior Statement from Host / IP Provider:
Soft layer just sent us this information on the IP address as well. They noted that it is definitely not dynamically assigned as per the WHOIS information included below.
http://www.hostingfixes.com/email/verizon-blacklist-removal
The address is definitely not dynamically assigned and you can give them the WHOIS information which shows SoftLayer as well as your company being shown as owning or leasing the IP:

Good Evening,
Unfortunately, the form mentioned was not supplied as a document or as a link. If you could resend the e-mail I’ll happily fill in the credentials required.
The server that we are currently using from SoftLayer had a supplied IP address (50.23.21x.xx) that we just began using as of June 26th. At that time it became known to us that the prior user of the IP had been flagged for spam in 2013 and we began the process of requesting a delisting.
At this time we have the IP used as a dedicated IP address for the wwfs.org domain owned by the Wounded Warriors Family Support. I’ve checked the server’s outgoing mail exim and found no issues with the forms or system sending e-mails out and verified that the 8 e-mail accounts sending habits were to known constituents or individuals that are requesting services from the Charity.
The charity is also not currently and has not used this account (or any other) in the last four years for e-mail marketing. We are examining the use of Constant Contact for this, but there hasn’t been a mass mailing since 2011.
The server’s cpHulk firewall is in place and we have the Apache configuration set-up to examine and and verify all incoming and outgoing messages. Each individual e-mail account is also limited to 250 messages per hour in the event that any hacking attempt should prove successful to limit any exposure.
We have also verified that the SPF, DKIM and PTR records are valid and the HELO reflects the server information only.
I hope this helps and we look forward to resubmitting our credentials for review.
Best Regards,

  • Could Not Sign In:  A server problem is blocking Apple ID sign in.  Try signing in later.

After a successful iOS 5 upgrade to my iPhone 3GS, I began going through the setup wizard the phone takes you through upon initial use.  However, I'm unable to make it past the part where you are supposed to "Sign In with an Apple ID".  The steps to reproduce the problem are:
Click "Sign In with an Apple ID".
Per the "Have MobileMe and an ITunes Account?" instructions, I opt to type in my MobileMe e-mail address (e.g. [email protected]) and password.
    Click "Next".
    Specify birthday.
    Click "Next".
    Click "Agree".
    Click "Agree" on popup.
A popup error is produced which reads "Could Not Sign In:  A server problem is blocking Apple ID sign in.  Try signing in later.".
Click "OK" which takes you back to the initial sign in screen.
I have tried logging in since 2am ET.  It is now 8:17am ET.  The server should not be down for over 6 hours.  Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any assistance offered!

    Hi Natalie,
I was able to workaround this issue by clicking the "Skip" option on the first screen.  Afterwards, I went back and manually entered my me.com Apple ID in Settings | iCloud and my iTunes Apple ID in Settings | Store.  Doing it this way doesn't ask you to enter your birthday and I haven't yet found where that is supposed to be set.  However, everything appears to be working correctly without it.  Hope this helps!

  • Forefront for Exchange Server is not blocking emails by IP

I have 3 Servers for Exchange: Client, Mailbox, and Edge.
I have Antispam configured on my Edge server with IP Block list enabled but I am getting numerous emails from China's IP block even though I blocked all of the .cn network.
The following is entered in my IP Block list for .cn:
    59.56.0.0-59.61.255.255
    183.0.0.0-183.63.255.255
I confirmed server is up to date on patches, etc.
    Exchange Version on all Servers:
    14.03.0174.001
    Forefront Version on all Servers:
    11.0.713.0
However when looking at Help>About MS Forefront Protection the Exchange Version does not match...
    Exchange Version Reported in Forefront
    Mailbox: Exchange Version 14.03.0174.001
    Client: Exchange Version 14.3.123.4
    Edge: Exchange Version 14.3.123.4
Not sure if this is going to be an issue but wanted to make note of it.

no way for checking emails which use a proxy like https page to acces???
    with this nice business!! phone???

  • Non-blocking Server/Client is blocking...?!

    First, a simple question:
Why in most example code using Selectors, when iterating over the Set returned by Selector.selectedKeys() does the currently selected SelectionKey get removed from the Iterator? I see it all the time, but since the SelectionKey is still bound to the underlying Selector it seems to not really do anything.
    Now to my main problem:
I been working with 1.4 for a week now trying to implement a simple test server/client, whereby the server constantly sends out the current time to any subscribing clients, who in turn display the time to stdout. Pretty straight forward, huh?
Well, everything seems to go fine...once. The Server accepts the client connection, sends out a the current time, the client (only one for now) receives it, displays to the screen, but then both server and client block on the Selector.select() method.
If I shut down the client, the server then continues through the select() method, finding one SelectionKey, tries to write to it and throws an IOException (since the client is no more). I'm catching that exception and then removing the channel from the Selector, so that the server may continue to service requests.
When starting a second client while the first is still running causes the following sequence of events:
    Server: starts up
    ClientA: connects to server
    Server: broadcasts the time
    ClientA: displays time
    // nothing else happens until...
    ClientB: connects to server
    Server: broadcasts the time
    ClientA: displays time
    ClientB: displays time
    //everything blocks again...
    ClientA: disconnects from server
    Server: broadcasts the time
    ClientB: displays time
As you can see it seems everything blocks until a client does something (connect/disconnect).
I will post code if anyone asks, but I don't want to spam the board if no one is willing to help me.

  • I am trying to activate my iPhone. I am seeing a message saying "a server problem is blocking Apple ID sign in. Try signing in later." What is this?

I am trying to activate my new Verizon Iphone. I am getting a message saying "A server problem is blocking Apple ID sign in. Please try again later." What is this and it seems to be persisting.........can't activate my long awaited new phone!

    Hi Natalie,
I was able to workaround this issue by clicking the "Skip" option on the first screen.

I would like to know which apple server dictation connects to so that my proxy server will stop blocking it. Which apple server does it connect too?

I would presume so, but it might be worth your while to experiment and play around with different combinations to see if you can block FaceTime while keeping Game Center open.  Good luck!

  • File upload on different server. URGENT need help.

    hi,
I am using struts common file upload to upload file from client. My problem is my application is running on server A but i want to store uploaded stream on server B without storing it on server A(i,e. without using FTP or rsync from server A to server B). Please help how can i achieve this task.
    Anuj

Write and run a standalone application on "Server A" to accept a socket connection from "Server B" then feed the inputStream that "Server B" uses to upload the file, to the socketOutputStream that it has opened with "Server A" and have Server A save that file.

  • Reports in process server....HELP!!!!!

Hi, I have installed 9i R2 Infrastructure and Application server on one machine and everything is running fine except the OEM shows that Report in process server rep_<host> is down, then I started it using command "rwserver server=rep_<host>" and it started fine but still in OEM shows it is down.
I am trying to call a report from my form application and it is giving me error message that Report server rep_<host> cannot be contacted. I also specified TNS entry for Report server.
Can someone help me out or tell me what I am doing wrong.
    Thanks
    Amit

    Hi
There may be some issue with OEM site. After starting your Report server, please bounce the BI_FORMS oc4j instance where Report Servlet is running. If you running a standalone server and not using the in-process server, it is better if you keep a name for standalone Report server which is different from in-process server name i.e. the default one. You need to keep a tnsentry only if you are using 6i Forms client. It will start a Report server listener for 6i clients. Hope this helps!
    Thanks

Hi, i have purchased iPhone 5 about 15 days ago, its working well but only one problem that it has is that some time its losting signal and appear as no serves. would you please help me in this reqard. thanks

Well, it could be that your carrier doesn't have a signal when it looses its signal.  You could try resetting network settings which might help - Settings/General/Reset/Reset Network Settings.  You'll need to set up any wi-fi networks you connect too again. If you're still having issues, contact your carrier.
    Good luck!

  • MASSIVE OS X Server crashing!  Please help me!  SMB crashes and kills OSXS

OSX Srvr 10.4.7 on a Mac Pro. I dont know what I did or missed versus every other server I've ever done, but I've got a major problem on my hands. Once a day my users have their access shut off, and i have to re-enable them. Every other morning, smb will crash so hard it kicks everyone off, then workgroup mgr won't respond anymore, and i have to hard power off the computer. This is running my company of roughly 23 users, and this replaced a Windows Server 2003. Not a good impression so far. I have logs I'm happy to post or email to anyone. They're huge, so I've obviously loused something up big time.
We're doing simple Windows file Sharing, Apple File Sharing, VPN, and eventually FTP. It's also running Kerio Mail Server. Someone please help me!

Mac Pro dual 2.66 Xeon   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

    Hi Bill.
    First please note:
"servermgr_dns: no name available via DNS for 192.168.200.250
Sep 20 17:54:21 Genesis1 servermgrd: servermgr_dns: no hostname set and unable to detect via DNS, services may not function properly - use changeip to repair"
Your first issue is you need to fix DNS.
Something needs to be providing forward and reverse DNS lookup for your OS X Server.
You might not have known this, but now you do: OS X Server -must- have working DNS. You don't need to run DNS on your OS X Server, but it needs working DNS.
DNS configuration is a bit beyond the scope of this reply, however.
In the meantime, edit /etc/hosts and do not touch any existing entries
    but add the following line:
    192.168.200.250 Genesis1
and kill -HUP lookupd. If you're not sure how, perhaps just restart the computer.
    Next up, edit
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/smbd.plist , adding the line in bold below:
    <key>ProgramArguments</key>
    <array>
    <string>/usr/sbin/smbd</string>
    <string>-F</string>
    </array>
Of course, the text in the file itself should NOT be "bold" formatted
Be very sure to check the permissions on that file, and to leave them the same, or restore them if they change. It's really best to use nano/vi/emacs to edit the file, if you must use a GUI app, then go with TextWrangler or SubEthaEdit, both of which can be found at versiontracker.com
Let us know how it goes, and I'll send this to your email as well.

I can't sign into my Facebook account on my ipad2 it says go to settings and sign in but when I do it says cannot communicate with server anyone able to help please

Here is a solution that worked for me, after nothing else would. Log out and back in to iTunes on your Mac/PC.
I had exactly the same problems as above, and no amount of network changes or even a full restore would help.
Finally, I went back to my PC, launched iTunes, logged OUT of that, then signed in again, this time with the new password.
Then I had to go back, and properly close Facetime and iMessages and sign in. It worked fine after that.
(To properly close an application, double click the home button, then hold down on the facetime app logo in the multitasking bar at the bottom, then press the tiny symbol.)
    Best of luck.
