5760 Mobility Peer state: Down, Up
Hi,
I am having an issue with a mobility peer: Control Link Down, Data Link Up.
They are both Cisco 5760 WLC's and there are no firewalls in between, they are on different subnets and have differnt Mobility Group Names.
Pings are successful. I have rebooted both WLCs and the state is still Down, Up.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue and knows a fix?
Thanks
Please refer to the link for mobility configuration guide-

Smpatch SSL errors: SSL peer shut down incorrectly
All my machines have been getting this over the past few days. Is there a problem with the server? google suggests this reflects a certificate problem but I haven't changed anything on the machines.
Thanks,
David

Zone gets in state 'down' by rsh?
Hi,
I have the following problem.
Booting and halting a zone with zoneadm on the host itself gives no problem.
Booting it via my own script using rsh ends up with the zone in state '*down*'...
12 at_qbl_02 down /zones/reference/at_qbl_02 native sharedMy script is a setuid perl-script:
# ls -la /sbin/devbench/bin/dbtool.pl
-rwsr-xr-x 1 root other 4357 Oct 14 13:42 /sbin/devbench/bin/dbtool.plwhich executes zoneadm functions with backticks:
my $output = `/usr/sbin/zoneadm -z $zonename boot 2>&1`;The script is called via rsh:
% rsh myhost /sbin/devbench/bin/dbtool.pl boot at_qbl_02Here's the output:
zoneadm: zone 'at_qbl_02': devfsadm call (/usr/sbin/devfsadm -z at_qbl_02) unexpectedly returned 1
zoneadm: zone 'at_qbl_02': devfsadm call (/usr/sbin/devfsadm -Z at_qbl_02) unexpectedly returned 1
zoneadm: zone 'at_qbl_02': call to zoneadmd failedRunning dbtool.pl locally (as root) works also flawlessly..
Has anyone any idea what could be causing this? Any pointers where to look?
And more important, how to get that zone back to a proper state without having to reboot the server?
Thanks!
Greets,
Steve684Okay, looks like I made a real beginners mistake...
I forgot the following line in my setuid-script:
$< = $>; # Make "real user id" = effective user id to avoid SUID problemsNo idea, what was effected by this, but alas, it solved my problem.
But there still remain some zones in the down state, so my last question still remains...
Anyone? :-)
Greets,
Steve684 -
I'm using aperture 3/mobile me to set up photo galleries which I send to friends. My question. Will icloud allow me to do the same or will I lose this function when mobile me closes down in July. If this function isn't part of icloud does anybody have any suggestions how I can do this in future through aperature. Thank you
You will have to find a new hosting service for your galleries, when MM is gone; but you will still be able to create the galleries with Aperture. Export them to your disk and upload them via FTP to your new hosting service.

SSL peer shut down incorrectly during synchronization
Why during synchronization process, particularly when downloading the war file I get this message? Is there a timeout connection to set?
The entire app war is about 6mb. At downloading point, the interrupt occurs when the war file reaches 3 or 4 mb.
The downloading bit rate is about 30KBps.
I use a wireless connection for my device, but the behavior is the same using a wired connection.

are you downloading the apps thru ssl? your ssl server might have a timeout...
you can check on your server settings for this. or you can try placing your app
in an http server. if you are using a proxy server, might need to check on the
timeout settings as well.

Exception: SSL peer shut down incorrectly
Hi All,
We are getting the exception : SSL peer shut down incorrectly after rebooting the server with a new Kernel version.
It happens for not all the calls, but it does happen and we have seen that the communication between OSB anned OBPM layers is broken for those calls and since the response is not properly retrieved, we have a logic for retry whcih retries and makes duplicate outbounds in the backend.
So why does this happen especially after booting the server with a new kernel version.hi alex,

Mobile network state "connecting" but never connects...help please?
Hi,
When I try to turn on 3G data on my Fascinate, it never connects. Under settings/about phone/mobile network state it just says "connecting" but never connects, and the "3G" icon never appears in the top right corner of the phone. I've tried toggling the airplane mode, turning off, then turning back on and toggling airplane mode off, but it didn't work.
I was wondering why I haven't received the 2.3 OTA update yet, and I guess it's because my data is not working.
Any suggestions?
thanks for any help you can give!mrshanno wrote:

Not to make it sound simplistic, but have you pulled the battery out? Shut off phone, pull the battery for 30 seconds, put the battery back in, and then turn it on. -
Mobile Safari scaling down pictures over 2 MP size?
Why is Mobile Safari scaling down pictures over 2 MP (apparently exactly 2000000 pixels) size?
The file size doesn't seem to matter...Sample 1, JPEG, originally 2179*1000 pixels, being scaled down to 1090*500:

Sample 2, JPEG, 1600*1200, not being scaled down:

Sample 3, PNG, 2560*1600, not being scaled down though definitely over 2 MP:

I am attempting to use IP SLA trackers to dynamically set the default route going out over a DSL connection. if the sla trackers are down the default route learned from the WAN will take over, but normally we want to send internet/default route bound traffic out over the DSL connection.

the issue we are having is if the SLA threshold is breached, it immediately sends the trackers into a delay down state. the tracker delays down for 60 seconds, then very quickly comes back up. What we want to accomplish is only if the sla tracker has breached the threshold or is down for 60 seconds, then put the tracker into a down state.
Thanks. The configuration seems to be correct: IP SLA change as soon as the icmp fail but the tracker delay should ensure the it changes its state after 60seconds of icmp failure. Do you experience a different behaviour ?
What I'm worried about is that, after the default router through the WAN is in routing table, the ip sla ping will be successful and therefore the static route
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 71.32.39.46 track 3
will be used but, at that point, which is the path to 71.32.39.46 ?
Another thing is that, in case of DSL link failure, this configuration will not automatically revert to WAN link because 71.32.39.46 will be still up and running, isn't it ?
Let me know,

Mobility Group Member Down Status
The mobility group members from our guest controller have went into a down status twice since upgrading the 5508 WLC to software version 7.4.110. What can we do to remedy the problem?
1. First upgrade the WLC to 7.4.121.0 version (this is pretty stable).
2. paste the config and logs from WLC.

Hi All
I'm using a Cisco 5760 with 3.3 code with a Cisco 2504 acting as an anchor. The 2504 is running 7.5 code and has 'New Mobility' (Converged Access) enabled.
I can't fine any reference to what ports are now used between the controllers. I'm assuming it's still UDP 5246/5247. I know EoIP isn't used with the new mobility.
Can anyone confirm the port requirements for new mobility please?
Regards
RogerHi Steve,
I think bit of confusion here. Yes I agree everything is CAPWAP, but UDP port number is different depend on what type of communication it is.
As per my understanding UDP 5246 & 5247 used for WLC to AP communicaton. Not for WLC-WLC mobility communication. So still I belive UDP 16666/16667 uses for Control plane & data plane traffic between controllers.
Here is one of my 3850 mobility summary output confirming it is using 16666 as UDP port.

ADF Mobile: Client state access failed to establish a place for storage
Hi,
I hope it's fine to ask about adf mobile in this discussion room.
following problem:
While switching from two views/pages, both display a list, an error was thrown with the message: "Client state access failed establish a place for storage: null".
From the list view, I can navigate to see the details of the list-element. This error message wasn't shown up if I navigate from the details back to the list overview.
The application is developed using jdeveloper 11.1.2.4 and deployed on iPhone simulator 6.1 (xcode version 4.6.3).
There is no further information about this error in the log file. I'm not really sure if this message is really coming from the framework itself.
Has anyone probably ever heard about this message? It'll really helpful.
Thanks!Hi.
I got this error message once. I was trying to copy the full selected row for a table in the view scope using a setPropertyListener. Something like this:
<amx:setPropertyListener from="#{row}" to="#{viewScope.visit}" type="swipeRight"/>
This will not work. The workaround is not to be lazy and simply copy the row attributes you need one by one.

Hi
When I configured service profile to a blade then deploy ESXi, It works correctly for a time then I found the following error " VIF 716 link state is down" as in the attached and the server management IP is pingable also the ESXi IP is pingable during the error
I did the Same to another blade but no problemHi Amr
This has been discussed many times before
see eg. https://communities.vmware.com/message/2183957
But about the HW failover configuration I really do not know why not recommended to use the HW failover I think it's better than failover of VMware VSS
Agreed that it should work, but I'd prefer to enable and configure failover behavior in ESXi rather than UCS. In my research on this issue, I found a thread over on the Cisco UCS forum that has a clear statement regarding this configuration: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2187653.
"Never use fabric failover with a hypervisor vswitch. Let the failover mechanism of the vSwitch handle the network outage."
So while it may be a valid design, it looks like the consensus is to let your vSwitch handle the failover.
Cheers
Walter.
