5800 - WLAN web access issues

Hi all,
I have my 5800 connected to my Zyxel Wireless router to access the internet. I can browse and search to a certain point but some links don't go anywhere.
For example, I can browse to the bbc.co.uk site and select sport to bring up the sport homepage, but then clicking on football does nothing. Using 3G accesses the football page fine.
Is there something on my phone or router I need to update? The firewall hasn't got any rules which I have applied.

Do you run into this issue with the same page every time? I'm wondering if your wireless session is being disturbed by a phone or other device that's running at 2.4G, which I ran into once.

SAP Web Access Issues

Hello Experts,
I have been given a link for SAP Web Access. I am able to access transactions and post data and write programs. However, none of the GUI functionality is working and is giving shorts dumps when i click on the layout tab for Adobe, Internal error for form painter in smartforms and a file not found error for layout editor for screen painter. I raised this issue with the Ides team but they do not have a resolution for it and they too get the same error on all of there systems.
Has anybody enocountered this issue before and if so could you please give me some direction.
One point is that for an existing Adobe form i'm able to successfully execute it and display the form.

I can access another server with http://FQDN:50000, It will show the screen of SAP Web Application Portal.
After I check parameter icm/host_name_full , I did not maintain anything, it is working fine.
Why in ERP system, I did not maintain anything like that server, I have only maintain FQDN, It is not working and did not show anything. Pls suggest me how to solve it.

Oracle Primavera Cost manager v 6.2 web access issue

One other thing to check is that iptables on your Oracle VM Manager box/vm is not blocking the Oracle VM Manager UI, to test type /sbin/iptables status, if iptables running turn it off by typing /sbin/iptables stop.

Meeting Place Express 2.1.1.2 Web Access Issue

Hello all,
I'am having an issue with a Meeting Place Express 2.1.1.2 server. There was a power failure and now we can still access the server via dial-in but the web acess is not working. From the CLI i run the mpx_sys status command and it says webservices is active. The server has been restarted. When I check the errorlog I see "unable to connect to webservices, trying again" Anyone know what the issue might be? Thanks

If that doesnt work, you will need to open a TAC case and TAC will send you a password recovery .iso file to burn on a CD/DVD.

N97 mini WLAN/Data access issue

Most of the time I will have WLAN access. So I do not want to pay extra for the data pack from AT&T. Just wonder if there is a way to turn off data access on my phone so the phone will used for phone call only, and not for data servies. TIA!

you can do this in 2 ways:
-if you don't want it anymore forever, you can openmenu = settings = connectivity = destinations = and delete intenet and wap access points except the WLAN access point ((leave MMS because you'll need it when recieving MMS))
** you can make the WLAN access point the first when you enter detinations = internet = choose the WLAN access point = options = organise change priority
-or, you can go to menu = web = options = settings = general = access point = ask when needed

Cannot scan to e mail - Printer does not wake up - Web access issues

I own the HP 7520 AIO since a couple of months.
Everything was working fine untill 2 weeks ago
After a couple of hours , you cannot print anymore, you have to reset the network connection. Sometimes it works just by reseting the wireless , sometimes you have to go for a printer shutdown , plug out the cord (because you cannot power on again the printer by pressing the power button) and replug. I tried to configure again Wireless connection but I does not solve the issue .
In addition,when I'm trying to access to apps or to scan to e mail from the front panel, I'm getting an error message saying that it is impossible to connect to Web services.
I tried to reset the printer to factory but now it's worst I cannot configure e print anymore at all...
Scan to computer (to Windows) is working all the time (to Mac has never worked from the printer but work from the computer)
I did not change something to the home wireless (router or others) since I first configured the printer.
Could you please help me to solve these issues ?

Welcome to the HP Support forums. I understand that you are unable to scan to email with your Photosmart 7520 printer and also you are unable to connect to web services.
To reconnect to web services please set a manual IP address and DNS servers. I have included a link to another post I did with the steps (including screen shots). It also sounds like the router may have had a firmware update so I’ve also included the Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection document. There are several valid trouble shooting steps to follow if the manual IP doesn’t correct things.
Please let me know how it goes.

I would like to seek your counsel with regards to the recent incident that we encountered with our CiscoWorks LMS 3.1 running on Solaris 10.
A few days ago, we received a few complains from our users that they were unable to view the pollers or contents of the TOP-N <CPU | Memory | Interface> Utilization on the HUM’s home page (see attached file, hum_homepage.jpg).
We (tech support guys) checked the pollers’ status and they’re all Active (see attached file, pollers.jpg); we notified our Administrators and requested for a copy of the HUMPortal.log (see attached file, humportal.zip).
The following day, while waiting for the HUMPortal.log, we received reports that users accessing the HUM home page are stuck with the message “loading…” on all TOP-N Utilization reports.
As we were about to re-queue our request from our administrators, we received reports (a few hours ago) that our CiscoWorks LMS is inaccessible via web browser.
We alerted our administrators and they attempted to restart the Daemon Manager (/etc/init.d/dmgmtd); they were able to successfully shut it down but took several attempts to start it up.
As they attempt to start up the Daemon Manager, they encountered the following error message:
# /etc/init.d/dmgtd start
Error: Daemon Management could not start. Trying again
Error: Unable to bind to port, please check port (42340) state and permissions.
Error: If the port is in use, please try starting Daemon Manager once it become free.
After several minutes passed, they were able to start up the Daemon Manager successfully although the CiscoWorks LMS is still inaccessible via web browser.
We requested for a copy of the “pdshow –brief” log and every daemon (as far as I know) seemed to be working fine but it never hurts to ask for help to verify my findings (see attached file, pdshow0818a.log).
As of the moment of this writing, we are still unable to access CiscoWorks LMS via web browser; any insight or suggestion on the next step to take in troubleshooting and eventually solving this problem is very much appreciated.

The port 42340 issue is most likley not related to the HUM issue you described. The latest log entry you provided indicates "Possible reasons for 'No Data' in HUM Portlets could be either Poller is not configured, or Poller is deactivated, or Poller Failure has occurred, or Summarization job did not start." The error is repeated back to the beginning of the file dated Aug 14 16:39.
To focus on the HUM issue:
Did any change occur on or around the 14th that you are aware of?
Please provide some additional debugs:
1. Please enable debug for "UPMProcess"
Log files are stored here: #/var/adm/CSCOpx/log/#
- HUMPortal.log
- upm_summarization.log
- jrm.log
- upm_process.log
2. To set log levels:
*Health and Utilization Monitor > Admin > System Preferences*.
- Select Log Level Settings.
- Select the application module from the drop-down list.
- Select the Debug log level from the Logging Level drop-down list.

How to allow access from LAN to server on LAN using external FQDN? (Outlook web access issue)

I may have phrased the topic not too clearly, but I have an external domain name of mail.company.com , I want my users INSIDE the company be able to also get to https://mail.company.com , currently they cannot (nothing loads, looks to me as if firewall simply drops it) and I'm drawing a blank on how to get this done. Externally this works fine so if you're outside the company you can load up OWA just fine since my NAT rule translates the external IP to internal IP, but something is blocking this from the inside.
I have an ASA 5510.
If you can just sent me on the right path with theory I'll figure it out on my own, I don't need exact steps, but I must be thinking of this wrong as I'm not getting anywhere.

Maybe what is happening is that the DNS entry is pointing to the public IP address of the server, so it could be that the internal users are forwarding the traffic to the public IP address of the server and the ASA will drop the packet since the hosts are going to try to contact the server from the inside when actually there is a NAT rule that translate the internal server on the outside with a public IP. The traffic will try to contact that server going to the outside interface, but the ASA will notice that the connection was initiated on the inside interface, so it will refuse the connection.
There is a solution for this issue. You can create a static NAT rule that matches le that translate the internal host to the public IP address, in this case, instead of -inside,outside-, the rule is going to be -inside,inside-.
For example:
Let`s say that there is a static NAT that match the following statement for the inbound traffic coming on the outside:
static (inside,outside) {public IP} {private IP}
There should be one that says the same but with inside,inside:
static (inside,inside) {public IP} {private IP}
Please configure that rule and let me know the results.

Cannot view OWA email - after upgrade to Firefox 5.0, Outlook Web Access displays ASCII characters (garbage) in message body. Same issue with multiple servers.

Email body of HTML or RTF messages are rendered in ASCII characters after upgrading to Firefox 5 when viewing email in MS Outlook Web Access (OWA) light from MS Exchange 2007 servers. Issue is repeatable with two entirely different Exchange systems.
Text email renders OK. Work around is to forward email (in use MS-IE).

(1) You say you did the symbolic link. I will assume this is set correctly; it's very important that it is.
(2) I don't know what you mean by "Been feeding the [email protected] for several weeks now, 700 emails each day at least." After the initial training period, SpamAssassin doesn't learn from mail it has already processed correctly. At this point, you only need to teach SpamAssassin when it is wrong. [email protected] should only be getting spam that is being passed as clean. Likewise, [email protected] should only be getting legitimate mail that is being flagged as junk. You are redirecting mail to both [email protected] and [email protected] ... right? SpamAssassin needs both.
(3) Next, as I said before, you need to implement those "Frontline spam defense for Mac OS X Server." Once you have that done and issue "postfix reload" you can look at your SMTP log in Server Admin and watch as Postfix blocks one piece of junk mail after another. It's kind of cool.
(4) Add some SARE rules:

Remote Web Access (remote desktop gateway) issue with WHS2011

I have been using Remote Web Access on my Windows Home Server 2011 for several years with no problems. Over the past several weeks, though, I have been receiving an error when I try to connect to a computer through WHS's Remote Web Access:
"...the Remote Desktop Gateway is temporarily unavailable." Interestingly, when I try to connect from a Windows 8.1 computer, I just get a dialog box that says "Initiating connection," but the connection is never established. I cannot
find any relevant errors in any of the event logs.
I have read numerous articles relating to WHS configuration and port forwarding, but these do not have any information that addresses my situation. I have ports 4125, 80, and 443 forwarded to my Home Server. As I said, everything has been working fine with
this configuration until several weeks ago -- I suspect it might have something to do with a .NET Framework 4.5 update that was recently installed (and that has now been uninstalled), but that is the only change I can think of.

As you have commented that after installing .Net framework you are facing this issue. So after uninstalling still you are facing the same issue. Apart from installing .Net framework 4.5, have you installed or done any other change on your server?
Here you can check that “Remote Gateway Service” is running. Please check and restart the service if it’s stop. Apart you can check below 2 article for more detail step.

Issue with Excel Web Access --Excel graph showing only gray color

I am using "Excel Web Access" Web Parts to show the excel graphs in my MOSS2007 setup. I have multiple team sites under one site-collection. Excel web access is fine for all the team sites but , its showing only gray color for just one site. I tried to upload
new excel sheet with different graphs but still it shows the same gray color.
Any help would be really appreciated.

i reached NOTE732911 and saw:
"1. You are using Windows NT authentication for the Exchange server"
but our exchange is setup on W Server 2003, is that mean the NOTE 732911 cannot reach my requirement.
i've alse finished all the steps the NOTE mentioned, but what i see is still a login page ...
any suggestion?

WRT54GS v5.1 Download issues (web access is fine) - is my router dying??

Been having intermittant problems with this router for some time, usually a reboot will suffice. Web access will last all day long, but the second I start a download I pretty much always instantly lose my connection, and the computer will not recognise the router even after turning it off. I have to reboot the pc and the router and then things are fine again, until I try to download again.
I think my problems started when upgrading my virgin broadband to 10mb, although like I say it first it was brilliant and I could download at line speed (or at the restricted rate with virgin) for hours on end.
Is there any settings on the router which will help? I have tried capping speeds on my download manager but I still get dropout.
Is there a newer firmware? Am using

Am all out of ideas, I have variously thought it was interferance from my wii or my ps3, or even from a windows program like skype.
Virgin are giving away routers if I upgrade my connection, if this is the likely cause I would consider doing this. after all the router is quite old now and isn't really fulfilling my meda streaming needs (PC >> PS3) either. Or rather - it drops those connections too.
Why haven't linksys given more support to this router, no firmware upgrade for 30 months is shocking IMO

Well Version 5 Firmware will not work with your router, The firmware version which is available on the linksys website is an old firmware, but still you need to re-flash the firmware on your router, as your router is dropping its connectivity and you are facing the problem while downloading. So you need to download the firmware for 5.1 and once you download it and Upgrade the firmware of your router, you need to Press and hold the reset button for 60 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 60 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router..

Have you changed something on your SharePoint 2007 environment recently before this issue occurred?
This issue may be related to Alternate Access Mappings settings like the following similar post, if you have configured AAM, you can check if this issue happened to some URLs, if it's the case, please add the problematic URLs as a Publish URLs for the default
zone for your web application, and also add these URLs as trusted locations, then check results again.
If above doesn't work, please enable ULS log on verbose level to get more useful log errors which time are corresponding to the errors occur.
