5800 xm - bug or what else... it restarts itself a...
Hi all,
I'm the (for everything else lucky) owner of a 5800 XM, that works almost great.
Dunno what's the cause, it resets itself (does a partial reboot, showing the white screen with the Nokia blue logo) in several ordinary use circumstances. For example, it will almost certainly reset itself after sending an ordinary text message.
Already tried hard resetting, firmware upgrade, etc... never formatted my memory card, btw, and always restored settings from backup.
I even tried reinstalling firmware (31.0.101) but didn't solve.
Ideas?

The file extension .wlz refers to a WinImage file

I don't really understand how did those files ended up in ur phone but probably it was due to a wrong file copy...

Hi all,
I am running an update of a table with 2 columns from 9.2.0.8 to 8.1.7.4 over database link.
First column (number) is updated, but second appears to be NULL. ?!
I've tried to do it from 8.1.7 to 9.2, but with the same result.
Then I've tried to create a table on 8.1.7 side and insert data from 9.2 into it first, but .... same: NULL values for char colums.
Is it a bug?
What else can I try?

There's a black and white striped glitch on the left side of my screen on my Macbook Air! Its happened before and has been an easy fix, usually just restart or turn off my computer but don't know what else to do. Is there anything I can try now? I wont be able to make it to the Apple store until tomorow and would prefer if there was something I could do that didnt cost money, my computers very new and I really need help.

My ipod touch isn't letting me download any apps or games and I've tryed to restart it what else can I try to do?
Go to Settings > General > Restrictions and check the configurations in there.

My Iphone 5c is not being recognized by my Mac computer. I have done all of the upates, restarted several times and I'm not sure what else to do. I have searched and searched and searched and have come up with nothing. Also, my Iphoto can not be updated. I'm still using version 8. something, and it won't update without this update and that update. It needs 9.0 but I can't find that download anywhere. The only one that I can find is 9.1. That won't update. Is there anything that I can do, or should I just bite it and take it to apple to get looked at?
Does iTunes not see the phone?
If not, make sure you're running the current version of iTunes.

As for iPhoto, you will have to purchase a newer version. It's not a free upgrade. Or, you can use Image Capture, which is built into OS X, to import the photos. -
The Pages stop working on my computer when I upgraded OS to Mountain Lion. I reinstalled iWork from CD and updated to 9.3 version from Apple store. I also restarted computer before opening the iWork. It still doesn't work. It keeps giving me the error page. The same thing with Numbers. Only Keynotes opens. What else can I do? Heeelp please!
We are not omniscient. Use screencapture on the error page. Shift + Command + 4 … then drag the cross-hairs around the error, and release. The Screen Shot will be written to your Desktop. Use the camera icon in this editor’s tool bar to embed that Screen Shot of your error in a follow-up post here.
Did you move the Pages and Numbers applications out of /Application/iWork ’09 folder, where they are expected to reside? Did you run /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.app, and on your boot drive, verify/repair permissions? -
I am trying to download itunes to PC and it downloads but then says Service Apple Mobile Device failed to restart. Verify sufficient privileges to start system services. What do I need to do? I am an Administrator on the PC so what else needs attention?

I am receiving a message saying the iPod "TRACER's iPod" can not be synched. The required file can not be found. I ran the iTunes program repair and restarted both the computer and the iPod. but still receive the same message. Any suggestions on what else to try?
That can sometimes be caused by a damaged ipod photo cache.
If you remove the current ipod photo cache, does that get you past the error?

my iPad doesn´t work, I already restarted it, the screen keeps turning on and off, and I can´t see anything or work on it, what else should I do?
First lets assume you battery is completely or almost completely drained.
Plug the iPad into the charger that came with it and plug that into a known good wall outlet. Leave it alone for at least an hour. Then, while it is still plugged in reset the iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. If the iPad starts and seems to be ok let it continue to Harte until the battery is fully charged.
If this doesn't solve the problem I suggest having an Apple technician take a look at your iPad. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -
my iphone 4 turned black today and my sleep(lock) button doesnt work. I have tried to let it charge to see if it would restart but still nothing. what else can i do to turn it back on??
Unless somebody else has a micracle workaround I don't know. Probably get the phone in for repair since it has been living on borrowed time so far and now you absolutely must have a working button.

Itunes won't work on windows 7 64 bit computer don't know what else to do
i have an HP G60-530US notebook with windows7 64 bit operating system.
i downloaded the proper version of itunes from the apple site but when i open the program on my computer itunes doesn't respond. i cannot do anything with it. i've tried reinstalling several times and am at a loss as to what else to do.
i have a new ipod touch that is just sitting in the box because i can't load music onto itAll righty then.

... are pretty much fine *with one caveat.* If you have *Safari 4.0.4* installed, close it *prior to uninstalling Apple Application Support.* That version of Safari also uses Apple Application Support, and will interfere with the Apple Application Support uninstall if you have it open. After Apple Application Support has been uninstalled, Safari 4.0.4 will no longer launch until Apple Application Support is reinstalled. (It should be reinstalled when iTunes is reinstalled.)
When you get to the "Verify iTunes and related components are fully uninstalled" step, use the following checklist rather than the one in the document:
(1) Restart your computer.
(2) After the computer restarts, open Local Disk (C:) located in Computer or whichever hard disk your programs are installed on.
(3) Open the Program Files folder.
(4) Right-click the iTunes folder, choose Delete, and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion. Note: This folder may have already been deleted if iTunes was successfully removed using the "Uninstall a program" control panel.
(4.5) Right-click the iPod folder (if it exists), choose Delete, and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion. Click Continue if Windows needs confirmation or permission to continue.
(5) Right-click the Bonjour folder (if it exists), choose Delete, and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion. Click Continue if Windows needs confirmation or permission to continue.

I have performed all troubleshoot suggestions to make my iphone and PC calendar update to each other via icloud.What else can I do to resolve this? This has been the most frustrationg aspect of changing to iphone and ipad. Thanks.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
1. First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
2. Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
3. If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.
