Can anyone help me understand what is wrong with my phone
when i enter my call log e.g to see a missed call all i get is an empty log it's the same with my dialed/ recieved call list ?
also my web brower aint saving my recent history either
i have tried the update firmware to the new version and i am no further forward
can anyone help me it would be much appreciated

Hmm, I might have missed something, but I cannot understand why it won't save call logs or internettlogs when settings says it should do.
If noone comes with the answer, you could always perform a soft reset. That would be dialling *#7370#. This would delete everything on phonememory and make it box fresh. Remeber to backup contacts and messages. Don't backup settings as there might be something I overlooked, and you will just get the problems back when reinstalling the backup. You can take a backup with Nokia pc suite. Note that this should be the last thing you try. (this steps often fixes issues, but it's hard to know what the actuall solution was).

Reject and Answer buttons only show up if the phone is not in standby. If the phone is in standby and /or the screen is locked, you will see swipe to answer instead.

If you used Mac's automatic Software Update... to get to 10.5.1, try this:
• Repair permissions.
• Download and install the Mac OS X 10.5.1 Update.
• Repair permissions again after the restart that completes the install.
• Test to see if problem is still there.
If problem exists, try suggestions relevant to your system from Apple's How to Troubleshoot iSight.

Call log not saving call duration after 5800 v30 u...

Hey all,
Before updating my 5800 to v30, I remember that in the call log I could get details about any particular stored call, and it would show me how long the call was. But after the update, this is no longer there! Am I going crazy, and that ability was *never* there (and I just imagined it), or has this really been taken away with v30? Or is there a setting that I'm just missing somewhere.?
Note that I'm not talking about showing call durations DURING a call ... that's still available. I'm just talking about storing a call's duration in its call log entry.

Hehe oh right, now I remember. It's in the second tab (i guess it's the detailed log tab) in the call log app. I'll just tell myself to do a search before posting. Google is your friend, Ravi!

Hi, there! I just purchased my Z1S on 2/21 and the call log has stopped working - it just doesn't show up. I've already checked the hidden call log setting and the filtered call log settings. Any suggestions?

Nokia X3-00 : Can not delete Call Log

I am unable to delete 2 Entries in the call log on my Nokia X3-00. When I select delete.. first it displays..'Delete entry from list?' but when I select 'Yes', it shows 'Invalid Selection'..
If I call to these numbers..the details change to the latest call details (i.e. the date, time, duration,etc..) but when I try to delete them again shows the earlier details.
Actally there were almost 15-20 entries in the call log when I performed the delet action.. All but these 2 got deleted..
I have tried Re-booting and Factory Reset..without success..
Pl. help.. Thanx

Skipping numbers without saving the log entry

Dear Experts,
When i am creating incident log entry by using CBIH82 t.code, system is proposing one internal number (Internal number configured). Now,I am not saving this log entry and if again i am trying to create the log entry, system is proposing the next number eventhough with the previous number, log entry didnt create.
Why this happens and how it can be prevented.

C3 call logs problem

Hello ,
I have a problem with my C3 . When I press the green key "Call" (even after removing sim and battery) shows me couple of names as in I have called them (5 of them) , I try to delete them tells me "invalid selection" those name were in my agenda but I have deleted them . Oh and I have restored factory settings and yet nothing. Someone could tell me what to do ? Thank you

5800 not saving voicemail number

As I mentioned on another post - have had my 5800 changed (yet again - think I am up to my 5th now)
Realised that my voicemail number was wrong - So went into Settings, Calling, Call Mailbox and then in the options and chose Change Number.
Entered the new number, pressed ok - message came up saying voice mailbox number saved to phone memory. Exited all the menus. However, if I then go back into the menus the number was not saved - it always seems to default back to the one stored on my sim card and does not save or use the one on the phone memory.
Anyone else suffer this problem? or does anyone have a solution.

I had the same problem, and i think it was after updating to firmware 20......I also had the problem that most of my my incomming calls whent directly to my voicemail even though my phone havent made a sound, After several af calls to Nokia Servicecenter and my telephon company, provider (I don´t now what i is called but like Vodaphone) they suggested me to go to a Nokia Service center to get them to make an update. I did, and it solved the problem.
I was told that Nokia Service centers can make af more complete update which I wasn´t able to do by PC suite.

Hi Shijo,
Is this affecting only one 7942 IP phone or all of them? if this is affecting all then you may try ta firmware upgrade. If this is only affecting one of them then you can compare the settings of this phone with the working ones or try setting the phone to factory defaults.

When i run(from terminal) separately in a new class with an image in an Imageview( inside a Vbox) and take the snapshot

Please help me.

When i omit the line OutputStream out = new FileOutputStream(saveFile);
and write only
ImageIO.write((RenderedImage) bufferedImage, outExtension,saveFile);

then saving the image even in "png" also fails.
