5800XM shortcut bar theme error..

I'm using 5800XM and recently idk why, my home screen become blank..
I'm using shortcut bar theme as my home screen theme but when I tried to add a new shortcut there's "NO editable shortcuts in selected theme" note. I have no idea how this is happening and I wish u guys can help me with this problem.

Please do a Hard Reset, RED+GREEN+CAMERA button simultaneously and turn on the fone (Hold the RED+GREEN+CAMERA until you get the country selection screen)

Is this a bug in the Shortcuts home theme?

When my phone 'Home Screen Theme' is set to 'Basic' or 'Contacts Bar' then I can see the option to edit 'Shortcuts' in the 'Home Screen' page, but as soon as I select the 'Shortcuts Bar' theme the option to edit the 'Shortcuts' stops being available Ahhhhhhhh !!!

Press Middle White Hardbutton > Settings > Personal > Home Screen > Shortcuts

Is the 5800 not on a newer firmware?
I would visit http://www.nokia.co.uk/get-support-and-software/download-software/device-software-update and see if your oppreator has a firmware update for you.

Can No longer see my shortcuts bar in my home scre...

Help! I have a Nokia 5800 and its suddenly gone bonkers. i'm meant to have a shortcuts bar and the top of my home screen...but its gone. ive obviously been into settings > personal > home screen > home screen theme to shortcuts bar..and all the inbetween. i've tried turning my phone on and off, taking the battery out and updating the software. but nothing is happening. as well as not seeing the shortcuts when i press the dialler or contacts shortcut nothing happens. same with the calendar. also when i press the green and red buttons in the home screen nothing happens.
things seem to work better when i have a contacts bar on the home screen but i want the shortcuts one.
anyone know if they can help or had a similar problem?? would be much appreciated for any help on the matter.

this has been brought up many times the best thing is to do soft reset the code is *#7370# back upo contacts /messages this returns the phone to out of box state
security code is 12345 if asked

Shortcuts bar has disappeared in Photoshop Elements 10

I recently installed the free trial version of Photoshop Elements 10.
Today I noticed that there is no shortcuts bar in the Edit window.
I believe a shortcuts bar is supposed to be located just below the menu bar and above the options bar. I think I had a shortcuts bar earlier but it disappeared at some point.
I tried reinstalling the program, but there is still no shortcuts bar.
Is there any way of making the shortcuts bar reappear?

(The bar that looks to me like a shortcuts bar seems to be labeled "Options bar", but I think the options bar is the bar just below that.)
After reading your response to my question, I now have the impression that the above image may be from an earlier version of Photoshop Elements. My UI does in fact look exactly like the image in your response.

I am using Firefox 4.0 Beta 10. It doesn't start immediately after I click on the Firefox button located in my shortcut bar. And sometimes it even doesn't open. I don't know why it occurs, so please look into this matter. Thanks!

Whenever I click on the button of Firefox 4.0 Beta 10 located in my shortcut bar. It opens after a very long time i.e. after 5-10 minutes after I get irritated and start using Safari. And sometimes it doesn't even open. Please look into this matter. :D

Try disabling hardware acceleration in your Firefox settings and see if it helps:
From the Firefox menu, go to '''Options''' and click the '''Advanced''' panel, then select the General tab. Clear the box in front of "Use hardware acceleration when available" so that it is unchecked, then restart Firefox. Switch Theme Error

Getting Switch Theme Error when trying to switch theme in Application >Shared Components>Themes>Switch Theme. I do not see the default themes, even though they are installed in the workspace.
What do I do wrong?

You have to have more than one theme defined in the application in order to switch themes. If you are at Home>Application Builder>Application XXX>Shared Components>Themes and you only see one theme in that report then you should use the Create button and proceed with that wizard.

How to customize the shortcut bar at the top?!

Sorry, I know this is simple but its driving me nuts!
When you click on the various tools the shortcut bar at the top changes. For example, click on the type tool and it shows your font drop down menu, you para alignment, your font size etc. However theres several things on there I dont need (ie stretching the font less or more than 100% and the dictionary option). Also things Id like to add like the new span/split columns options.
How on earth do I customise these? All the tutorials I can find are about creating new workspaces etc but nothing seems to be able to change those options. I can undock the whole thing but ... arrghh!!
Any advice?

5800 XM Call buton issue, blank shortcut bar

When I bought the 5800 XM I uploaded my contacts to the phone with PC Suite, then I wanted to use groups to send message, or add a contact when writting a messange, and when I selected a contact, the boxe was checked and the phone went back to the message but with no contact at all...
I could use the contact bar, but when trying to put the shortcut bar, I had only 4 boxes totaly blank, and nothing hapens when I clik on, only the anymation 3D of the box.
And when I was on main menu, when I press green button, nothing hapens, the recent calls doesn't open.
3 problems :
-can not use contact group / contact to send a message
-nothing happens when I press green button
-blank shortcut boxes on main screen.
I have the last updates on the phone.
I tried to uninstall all applications I had installed... unsuccessfull.
I finaly did a reset (holding green, red, and photo button + starting...)
And resetup manually all my contacts
It was ok for 2 weeks.
And today I installed Ndrive and pips_nokia_1_3_SS.
I rebooted the phone, the application works perfectly but I now got the two problems :
-nothing happens when I press green button
-blank shortcut boxes on main screen.
I tried uninstalling pips_nokia_1_3_SS, and i doesn't change anything.
Is there anything to do?

What's your phone current firmware version? If it not the latest version of firmware, try updating it. Most people having a problems with their Nokia 5800 XpressMusic if they are currently using the old firmware version.

Shortcut bar with less than 4 widgets

Is it possible to have a shortcut bar with less than 4 widgets, is there a blank/empty icon possibility ? I searched around but haven't found and solution so far.

you can't have 3 shortcuts as they wouldn't fit properly, but you could try Favourite app from the Ovi store ?

After updating to Firfox Sync 1.6.1 all my bookmarks are duplicated and now there's TWO of all of them (in the shortcut bar below the address line)

In the short cut bar below the address line in Firefox, all the items appear twice. The folders that are featured there (collections of shortcuts) are also double now, but one of them is empty and the other contains the normal shortcuts.

I seem to have resolved the issue of sending a photo to my wife through messages by turning off iMessage, then rebooting (not resetting) the phone.
I still have the issue in Photos. If I select the share icon, then select message, it brings up a message authoring window with the photo in it, but never offers an opportunity to select a contact to send it to.

Downloaded a wallpaper pic, wanted to see how it would look full size, so clicked off my tool bars, but also clicked off nav bar in error. now cannot get any of them back . HELP PlEASE.

Firefox 3.6+ versions have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.
Hit the '''Alt''' key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark. <br />

Display a message in status bar when error in a block based procedure

If I have an exception when I try to insert a record for example, how can I display a user friendly message in the status bar ?

Cross-tab bar chart error.

I created a bar-chart based on a cross-tab, but the bar-chart ends up merging two rows of the cross-tab into a single series rather than displaying them correctly as two seperate series.
As far as I can tell this seems to occur because the labels for the two rows both start with the same two letters (but are otherwise different). If I don't use labels, but just the database integer IDs, the chart works correctly, but is not labelled in a useful manner.
Has anyone seen something like this and is there a way to work around it?

[SOLVED] Getting theme errors after a recent upgrade in gtk3 apps

I have recently started getting errors like these after a recent upgrade.
(nautilus:12329): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: *-*:*:*: Not using units is deprecated. Assuming 'px'.
