5D mark 3 and the samurai blade

Now that the 5D Mark 3 finally has the clean hdmi out, can a devise like the samurai blade be a good option to use for recording? Will this combination admit the paralink arrow hdmi wireless devise as an interface?

Applications should not disappear all by themselves.
If they are then that coud indicate serious problems with your hard drive.
Backup everything up as quickly as possible.
Using Disk Utility verify your system disk.

I have uninstalled DAVE and used Clean App to remove trace elements of program, however I still get the message and am unable to eliminate the error messages. When I click OK the message goes away briefly and then comes back up.
Any solutions would be great.

Thanks....What I did was load the free eval version of Dave 9.0 and then used the uninstaller which must have deleted the kernel giving me the problem.

I know I'm being a little lazy....
What is the way (best or only) to control the distance
between a marker for an li (disc, square, etc.) and the text for
that li?

Exclamation mark and the message "itunes could not find your song file

Hi everyone. I've tried doing a search but couldn't find this exact problem. I hope i'm not about to annoy everyone with a question that has been asked a thousand times before.
my problem is that every now A/some song file(s).that are already in my itunes library and played fine and synced with iphones ipod app fine. well sometimes I get this little exclamation mark on A/some song(s) in the library and the message "itunes could not find your song file would you like to locate it" and when i do and it always seems to be in what itunes find box locates first anyway.......( I'm paraphrasing...........i forget exactly what it says)........the funny thing is when i try and locate the files for itunes they are exactly where they are supposed to be........ and i've been able to put the mp3 back into the itunes library in the past, but now a certain mp3 will not show up in itunes library or play. like i said I can locate it fine, i've never renamed any folders or mp3's. other mp3's in this folder play fine , but i've had exclamation marks on some of them in the past, it seems that i know of 2 folders in my music folder that always have this problem with the mp3's in them at ramdom .
does anyone know why itunes is doing this?................it happens sometimes with downloaded music and sometimes with ripped music................sometimes a single track and sometimes just a few single tracks .........it's begining to become slighty annoying........
any help would be most appreciated.

Helpful but i was reading some posts and threads about consolidate library and it seems that if the song is not in the itunes library it will not consolidate it.i've had songs in the library that i deleted from the library and i remember getting a message when i do that action if i would like to delete it from the music folder as well ( in other words trash it completly from harddrive or do i just want to delete the song from the library and still keep it in the music folder but i guess those actions have little effect if you didn't have the song in itunes music folder,, but another folder. except for the part that it will remove the song from the library. if there was a way to consolidate your music folder(s) into the itunes folder that would be cool. and still leave your itunes library with out those songs you didn't want in there, but wanted to leave in the music folder.

Folder with question mark and the computer is unable to detect Macintosh HD

Turning on the computer, there is a gray folder with a question mark and it is flashing. Then, I turn off the computer, and go to boot by clicking option at the same time. After I get into the screen, I try to reinstall my computer, but it can not detect the Macintosh HD or other driver that there is no place to install the system. I try to turn on my computer when clicking left ****, left control, and left option. It does not work also. Is there any thing i can do?

There isn't anything you can do for there. If you have a 2012 MBA your solid state drive has probably failed (mine did two weeks ago). I wasn't able to get into safe mode or do anything with it. I installed the OS onto a USB to get onto the machine properly, but I couldn't get into the hard drive.
If the SSD has failed, you will need to replace the drive, make an appointment with Apple and see if they can help you. If you are outside your warranty there is still a chance they will replace it for free.

Another Question Mark, and the home folder is missing

My iBook 14" G4 1.33 started acting up, and I thought it was time for a new drive.. I put in a new WD 120g and formatted with Tiger and all my saved stuff. It was working, but upon rebooting, I'd get a (I guess) Western Digital hard drive flashing icon (15 times), then the folder with the ? another 15 times, then all would boot up normally. Within a day, Safari would crash, and then Mail... so, I called the HD dealer and they suggested writing over the drive with 0's. I got an input/output error, and could go no farther. They agreed to exchange the hard drive.. I changed out the new one, all worked great, no flashing icons on reboot, etc.. after a day or so, it all started happening again. Disk utility from the Tiger disk would find permissions out of whack and repair them. Then it happened again. This time the Disk Utility could see the drive, but not the content, or home folder or whatever it would be called... on repeated tries this would happen, or the only thing that would show up would be the optical drive. Next, I got a well worn Powerbook 1.67 from my sister. I swapped out my new Western Digital into the PB, and put my original 60g back in the iBook. The PowerBook works great with the drive I had formatted in the iBook. No problems. The iBook though is still not finding a folder to boot to, and only the HD shows in Disk Utility, without the "home folder drive icon" below it. I would really like to be able to use the iBook. I just did a hardware test from my disk that came with the iBook and everything passed. Any suggestions?

If you do come to the conclusion that the ATA bus is at fault, you can use a firewire enclosure for a notebook drive and retain a certain measure of portability. OWC has these with the very reliable Oxford 911+ chip set, but any notebook sized firewire enclosure or drive would work.
The other thing to look at would be the cable--if it were damaged, that could also be the problem. Use a strong light to look for any breaks in the traces or other physical problems.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

DSC Labs colour charts and the vectorscope of Premiere Pro CC - please help

Let me immediately say that I am a retired engineer who has been a photographer since 1946 and videographer since the late 1990's - but I'm messing around in unfamiliar territory so may well say/ask some silly things...
I have a new DSC Labs "Camette v9.1" test chart and will soon take delivery of a new Atomos Samurai Blade recorder (I have a Ninja2 - and love it apart from the awful display). The Blade will give me vectorscope, RGB Parade etc. functionality that I can use on the camera output before recording. I have multiple cameras, which I would like to calibrate.
The Camette test chart requires that the gain of the vectorscope be set to 2x for the patch colours to be placed in their respective "boxes" during calibration. I can definitely confirm that PP's vectorscope shows the colours to be only around 50% of the way from the centre to their respective boxes.
Here are my questions:
1. Is there a way to set the gain of PP's vectorscope to anything other than 1x or 0.75x? I really need 2x
2. Do all the DSC charts require a 2x gain, or is this specific to the Camette? The Camette is about $160 whereas the bigger charts can exceed $1000 each. As you might expect, the colours don't look at all saturated!!!
3. Does anybody know if the Samurai Blade vectorscope function can be set for a gain of 2x? I am still awaiting a response from Atomos.

Can you change the checkbox value and the caption fontColor in the same checkbox field?

There was a discussion last March where the discussion creator wanted to change the caption text on a checkbox. And the response used a separate check box to change the fontColor in a different text field.
Is it impossible to manipulate the color of the check mark and the caption in the same field?
It would make something I'm doing a lot easier if it was possible.

Not sure how you created the field. In the object library under the custom group there is a Current Date field object. It's basically a text field that has some script behind it. Drop it on your form and instead of setting the runtime property, leave the "Calculation Script" radio button selected. It should display the date as M/D/YY, in the format of the selected locale. If you need to use a different format then you need to change the script that's automatically generated behind the scenes (it'll be in the ready:layout event for the field). BTW, selecting Runtime Property also generates a script, it's just different and formats the date as you see it. Either way you need to modify the script to change it.
If you need help with the scripting, post the format that you want the date in.

[stripchart] get rid of the marks of the y-axis

Is it possible to disable the marks of the y-axis? Or if not to get some space between the marks and the labels/numbers?
I´m asking because I have to use the right y-axis and there people always mistake the marks for a minus and think that the stripchart does show negative values.

Way to highlight marker and refer back to reference

One thing that would be nice to have is a way to highlight a reference marker in Frame and go back to where the
cross-reference was created. The cross-reference could easily be in another section of the book. I know you can do Special > List of > References, but when you are in the doc itself it would be nice to do. I assume in ExtendScript you would highlight the marker and then launch the ExtendScript snippet, since it shouldn't (I think) be too much
code if you were on the marker (and the code would check that it was a marker). Thanks for any advice

I agree completely that it would be nice. I built a similar feature into my XRef Wizard plugin for structured documents, where you can search for all cross-references in a book that point to any particular element. It produces a hyperlinked report for each one. I use it frequently.
The methodology for unstructured crossreferences would be identical. Probably the most difficult part would be the reporting aspect; ie, creating a report, displaying results in a pod, or whatever. The process of searching through a book for matching cross-references would require relatively little code.
Are you asking whether it can be done? Or are you asking for someone to do it for you? The answer to the first is an easy "yes", the other not as much
