5th gen touch downloads audiobooks but when i try to play, the screen "bounces back" and I can't. Help me please!

This just started happening. I have no idea why. The ipod is new. The audio book downloaded in itunes fine. It shows up on my ipod. I touch the screen and pic of the book and the screen scrolls to the "play screen" and then bounces back so I cant play it.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all audio booksand resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Uninstall the Inbox Toolbar, following steps here:

Then retry opening Firefox.
You can also try opening Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] (use Continue in Safe Mode first).
If that works, reopen Firefox Safe Mode, but use the dialog option to '''Restore default search engines''' as shown at https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode#Safe_Mode_window and press the '''Make changes and restart''' button.

This alert is related to iTunes Store movie rentals and authorization issues.
Make sure you are using the most recent version of iTunes and QuickTime. They both can be downloaded free of charge.
If your iTunes is up to date, remove the SC Info folder.

And since the old e-mail address is no longer active, I can't even chenge the password- becasue it's sends the link to do so via e-mail! Even when I use the "ask personal questions" option to verify and it asks me for my date of birth, I put it in and it still won't acccept.

It says Authorize is successful but when I try to play the song again it ..

... it says I need to authorize again. When I do it each time it says I've used 3 or my 5 but then I say OK and try to play the song again and it brings up the name/password box, and I go around and around. I've deauthorized the computer, and authorized it again but no change: says 3 out of 5 again. Some songs play, some don't.

That suggests the track is damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router.
Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore)

I downloaded Firefox but when I try ro use the site it does not do anything, just ask the question, do you want to restore the last session, what do you suggest I try?

I have repeated the download trying to solve the problem but I get the same results. I used to have Firefox and used it all the time, I do not know how I lost it, but one day the browser just quit. The bookark, favorite works just not the browser.

On the first issue, I haven't associated single letters with sites, so I'm not sure how that feature works. I usually type a few letters then arrow down or click on the one I want.

Select the songs and go to Edit > Delete. Then, download the music in iTunes Store

If the issue is not resolved, you may need to uninstall iTunes and all of it's components, and reinstall the latest version as explained in this article:

Mavericks is not recognizing the .smi extension - on my Mac it thinks it's a RealPlayer document. You are not going to be able to do anything with this - it requires AppleWorks to be present to be updated, and you can't run AppleWorks on Mavericks (other than by the rather roundabout process of installing Snow Leopard Server in Parallels and installing AppleWorks on that, as described here).
