6.0.4 (3) update corrupted subscriptions

After updating to iTunes 6.0.4 (3), my podcasts will no longer update automatically. I re-subscribed to one of these (KCRW's The Treatment), but now that one is listed twice in my Podcasts view, and the new listing doesn't recognize that I've already downloaded the previous episodes.
Does anyone know what's happening, and what to do about it?

Well, I fixed my problem.
Being an impatient type, whenever I un-subscribed to KCRW's programming, I immediately re-subscribed. This appears to have been the problem.
After thinking a little differently, I decided I would:
a) un-subscribed (clear) from KCRW's DnA (thus removing all files)
b) quiting itunes
c) Logging out and back in
d) re-subscribing to DnA.
I don't know why it worked, but it did. It seems that the logging out and back-in is a standard "trick" used when you call Apple up, as is a little patience to let the computer reset, so it is really not surprising it worked today. Hope this helps.

    With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
    Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

    Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR suitable for your PC (there's a 32-bit Windows version and a 64-bit Windows version):
    http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
    Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
    Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
    Does it install properly for you?
    If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

    The reason is due to the schedule line category (t.code VOV6) type CS. In the configuration, Req/assembly is switched off, so requirements will not be passed to MD04. The process itself is clear, the third party goods will not influence the plant stock, hence no need to pass the requirement.
    To fulfill your requirement, you may turn on the field Req/assembly and test.

  • If I get a new laptop will I need to update CC subscription?

    I just recently got Adobe Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 and they're wonderful and now I don't always have to use the programs at school.
    But my laptop is getting old and starting to slow down and it runs okay but I know eventually it wont be able to handle Adobe CC.
    If I buy a new computer will I be able to download Adobe CC without any issues or will I have to update my subscription? If I only have to uninstall the adobe programs on the old laptop and then just reinstall onto the new one then thats no issue. I just don't know if I'll need to update any info or not, if I get a new laptop/computer and download the Adobe CC programs onto the new one.

    There's nothing to update.
    On the old laptop, open any CC app, click Help > Sign Out and the entire suite will be deactivated. That frees up an activation for you to use elsewhere.
    On the new computer, install CC as usual and they'll activate automatically as part of the install.

  • Continually told to update my subscription

    I switched from CC with just Acrobat 11 and then went to full CC. Since then, I cannot use any of the programs, because I get stuck in a loop of being told to update my subscription. I spent more than 2 hours on phone with tech support a week ago, with no resolution. A higher level of support was to get back to me; no-one has. 184962503 is the issue #.

  • Vista updates corrupts files

    I am having a continuing problem with Microsoft updates.  I have had to reload the oprating 6 times in the last year because MS updates corrupt the file system.  It is impossible to run chkdisk because it too gets corrupted.  Does anyone else have this problem?  If so, is there any way around it?
    I'm about to give up on Vista because of this problem and go back to XP.   Any advice?

    Avoid Service pack 1 of Vista. Update all lenovo thinkvantage softwares first.

    The point is that I do have UK credit card, but apparently my ID was " issue" in Spain. I do have an Spanish credit card as well, so this shouldn´t be a problem. The thing is that I´m not able to upgrade because my ID is Spanish and I´m in the UK.
    This doesn´t make sense at all to me. Any other ideas?

    The billing address associated with your Adobe ID must be in a Formscentral supported country. Additionally the credit card must be issued from a supported country. Can you please check that these are both true for your Adobe ID and let us know if you still have a problem upgrading?

  • Update & Corruption Issues

    Hi,
    I'm having serious stability problems on an Windows Web Server 2008 R2 SP1 x64 machine. I've installed this from a hosting provider's image and then proceeded to install any available updates. At this point, three of the updates failed:
    Windows Internet Explorer 9 for Windows Server 2008 R2 for x64-based Systems (Code 80240020)
    Internet Explorer 11 for Windows Server 2008 R2 for x64-based Systems (Code 9C57)
    Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2538243) (Code 643)
    I ignored these, disabled automatic update installtion (only notifictions) and everything was fine for a while.
    Out of the blue, some days later I discovered that some .NET applications were not working properly. Applications complain of missing dlls such as MSVCP110_crl0400.dll and msvcr71.dll.
    I ran sfc and it found tonnes of corrupted DLLs which it repaired in two stages (2 runs of sfc and 2 reboots).
    This is the third time that this has happened. The first two times, I thought it would be better to re-install clean from the hosting provider's image, so this is what I did. However, since it seems this is not a random issue and it is going to keep on happening,
    I've decided to try to repair this further on this occassion.
    At this point, some .NET stuff still wasn't working properly, so I reinstalled the .NET framework 4.5 and things were almost back to normal (still some missing dlls for some apps).
    I then installed updates that had been issued since first install and some of these failed. The failing updates this time were:

    sfc reports no errors, however it mentions PendingRenames frequently in the log and there are more than a thousand such files in WinSxS\temp\PendingRenames.
    Also CBS log includes tonnes of errors 0x800f0805 - CBS_E_INVALID_PACKAGE and 0x800f080d - CBS_E_MANIFEST_INVALID_ITEM when it does the nightly check for update availability. (Full log here: http://www.filedropper.com/cbs06022013)
    SURC reports no errors.
    MalwareBytes and TDSSkiller report no viruses or rootkits.
    I would really appreciate help on resolving this and some feedback into why some dlls are getting deleted and corrupted and why updates are not all installing correctly.

  • ITunes update corrupted some of my music files so iTunes can't find the file, nor music I  bought from the iTunes store.

    After an iTunes generated update of iTunes, some of my music can't be accesed any more. When I try to play the file, iTunes says it can't find the link. This also happens with music I purchase from the iTunes store, so I've lost all this music; do I have to re-buy the purchased music again? My iTunes program is on my C drive, and the music library is on my D drive. In iTunes, I've set the ripped music to be placed in my D drive. The lost links are on some music files, but not others which do play music. Some compilation music files were split up into individual files, usually without LP art attached. Some album art was placed on wrong albums as well. Music with lost links have a ! mark beside the song name. File info says the link is on my C drive, but I can't find it there. Any ideas on how to get these lost files back. Thanks, Moizy.

    Try this...
    Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
    Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
    See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
    When you get it all working make a backup!

  • Software update corrupt. Can't update or restore :(

    I have an Ipod Touch 5th gen running iOS 6.1, however I am trying to update it to iOS 6.1.2 but no matter what I do it will not update or restore and Itunes keeps giving me an error saying that the software update was corrupted during download after waiting an hour for the update to download each time.
    Things I have tried:
    Tried updating over the air by going into settings > general > software update on the Ipod - but the ipod just hangs forever where it says checking for updates with the spinning pinwheel and does not go any further (I let it sit for about an hour at that screen and it still said that it was checking for updates!)
    I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting my Ipod many times - didn't work still get the error when updating
    I have tried restarting my computer many times (my computer is running Windows 7 Professional x64) - didn't work still get the error when updating
    I have tried soft-resetting (I think that is what it is called) the Ipod by holding down the sleep/wake and home button until the apple logo shows up - still didn't update got the same error
    Tried reinstalling the Apple mobile device USB driver in the device manager in windows.
    Tried connecting the computer and Ipod to my other wireless network.
    I have tried putting the Ipod into recovery mode (where it shows the connect to itunes screen) and then tried updating or restoring through itunes - didn't work either still get the same error
    Tried putting the Ipod in DFU mode and then tried updating and restoring- still didn't work get the same error
    Finally I have tried manually downloading the ipsw file and then holding shift while clicking on update to select the downloaded firmware file like I read in another thread on this site - but that STILL did not work and I got an error that it could not be updated because the firmware file was corrupt.
    I have even tried the last option with the Ipod in DFU mode - still no luck.
    It seems like I have tried every single option and at this point am really frustrated since I cannot update or even restore my device. Is there anything else I can do or do I need to take it into an apple store to see if they can update it? Will they be able to update it for me in the apple store and will they charge me any money for doing it? (my Ipod is still under warranty as far as I know).
    I also thought that maybe it was a temporary glitch with apple but I have tired this for THREE DAYS without any luck. I have NEVER had this issue before and was always update to update over the air or through Itunes
    Nothing is wrong with my Ipod other than not being able to update it over the air or through Itunes. The only reason why I am trying to restore or update it to begin with is so I can have the latest iOS.
    Has anyone else, or does anyone else have this issue, and if so how did you fix it?

    All I can suggest
    - Is to download the update file on onother computer/network and try to copy to your computer and try again
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple.

  • 10.6.8 update: corrupted master 'iMac.icc' colour settings

    Hi –
    During the lastest update, the master 'imac.icc' profile has become corrupted during the reboot. Now shows a very 'washed out' and high contrast screen.
    Can I download the iMac replacement .icc profile from the support archive ?
    – or is there another suggestion (yes – I have tried Expert Calibration – but its not making any difference to screen visibilty)

    I'm having the exact same issue on my new 2011 21" imac. The screen looks very washed out and all of the colors are off.
    I also tried using the expert calibration mode but I could not get it back to the pre 10.6.8 settings.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
