6.1.2 does not want to work with Configurator

So I work in a school with 2 Bretfort carts and 60 iPads. I've used a Macbook Pro and Apple Configurator to send apps across all iPads and restrict certain settings. First I prepared every device, then created a master back up iPad. Recently, I updated one iPad to the new 6.1.2 IOS and now when I connect it to Configurator, I cannot edit it. I cannot add new apps, or change it. I see a small triangle with an exclamation point and the words "Device running new..." Right clicking gets me nowhere, double clicking too. How can I supervise a device that is running new IOS 6.1.2?

I'm having this same problem but when I click the button to "Check for Update" on the iOS in the profile, it appears to work but the iOS doesn't actually update in Configurator. The text on the iOS changes from 6.1 to 6.1.2 but when I plug in an iPad to refresh it via Supervise, the iOS changes back to 6.1 and I get the "cannot downgrade" error again.
Is there something else I can do to get the Configurator profile updated to 6.1.2?

It sounds like after updating to Mac OS X 10.9 your printer is no longer working with the computer. U want to recommend these steps from the article named:
Troubleshooting printer issues in OS X

Make sure that the printer is powered on, has ink / toner, and that there are no alerts on the printer’s control panel. Note: If you cannot clear an alert on the printer's control panel, stop here and check the printer's documentation or contact the manufacturer for support.
Ensure the printer is properly connected to a USB port on the Mac or AirPort base station / Time Capsule. If the printer is a network-capable printer, make sure that it is properly connected to your home network.
Use Software Update to find and install the latest available updates. If an update is installed, see if the issue persists.
Open the Print & Scan pane or Print & Fax (Snow Leopard) pane in System Preferences.
Delete the affected printer, then add the printer again.
If the issue persists, try these additional steps:
Reset the printing system, then add the printer again.
If the issue still persists, reset the printing system again. Download and install your printer's drivers. Then, add the printer again.
Contact the printer vendor or visit their website for further assistance.

I am using PageRage for my facebook theams and firfox does not want to work with it, it has in the past. And I cheack other browsers and it still works for them so I dont know if it is on your end or PageRage's.

The three Firefox app. into garbage, emptied garbage and redownloaded new version from Firefox. Reinstalled but same thing happened again... no connection.
What can I do, I like Firefox better than Safari, had it for years on my Mac.

I think it might be the problem with one of your plugins.
Try to uninstall the webbrowser AND remove the storage from Firefox in your user-account (Linux: /home/username/.mozilla). You can check the list of installed Add-Ons in Firefox under "Extras => Add-ons" or by pressing Shift + Strg + A (Linux).

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? Are they also 800736B3s, or a different error code? If they're different, what codes are you getting in Windows Update?

After updating to IOS 7 the search feature in the Messages app does not seem to work with messages received prior to the update. Texts received since the IOS 7 update search correctly. Is this a bug or a feature of moving to iMessages rather than just receiving standard texts?

As for your problem, One of your add-ons might be the culprit too. Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] with all add-ons disabled. If that solves the problem, see [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and possibly [[Troubleshooting plugins]]

If you're running Windows, try closing iTunes, then right-click on the iTunes icon and choose Run as Administrator. Then try synching again.

Are you trying to say it does sync with one computer but not with another????? If so, this is by design. All iDevices are designed to sync with one and only one computer.

I had the same problem - THe Hp Laserjet 3030 PCL 6 all-in-one printer is connected to a Windows XP machine and from my Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) workstations I could not print.
By some research and trial and error configurations, I am now able to print from my Windows 7 workstations. You can follow these steps and let me know if it works for you :
Step 1 : Make sure that the printer is shared on the Windows XP workstation and you can see the printer share while browsing your network e.g : \\XPWorkStation\Printer Share
Step 2 : Click Start and go to Device and Printers. Click on Add a printer
Step 3 : Choose add a local printer (Not a network, wireless or bluetooth printer)
Step 4 : On the next screen choose create a new printer port and in the port name type in the path to your printer share e.g : \\XPWorkStation\Printer Share
Step 5 : In the driver list, select HP and your model. In some cases, the Hp Laserjet 3030 PCL 6 does not appear in the list. You will have to click on Windows Update and then you will have an updated list of the printers available. Hp Laserjet 3030 PCL
6 is not available in Windows Update list. I selected Hp Laserjet 3030 PCL 5 and the driver worked fine for me.

I dropped my IPhone 6 plus in water and now the power button does not want to work

So i had the Iphone 6 Plus in my hand when it feel into a big puddle and it was in there for more than a minute so i come home and i find out that the power button (on the right hand side button) doesn't want to work like its on and im on the home page and then i press the button and nope nothing and the volume button somewhat works and sometimes the power button works so i turn it off and i put it in the rice next thing you know the phone turns on again without me touching it or anything. You can try leaving it in that bag of rice for 5-7 days to see if it will dry, however if it will not stay turned off, I would say that something is shorted out. When I purchased my computer I installed office for mac so I susally used outlook with no problems. My original apple id is the same as my pop server based e-mail account. I had an old me.com account but never used it. When I set up i cloud on my macbook I could not get my email to download to the cloud. My calendars, contacts and everything else works. At one of the Mac stores a salesman told me I needed to re route my e-mail to a Google Account, which I did but still no icloud mail. I now have my original pop mail account , the google account ,i cloud and I still can't get i cloud to work with my office for mac outlook. HELP I want one account that uses the cloud How do I make this happen?

Your pop account won't work with iCloud, it's the alternate me address you get when you create an iCloud account that works with iCloud. Outlook won't work with iCloud either, you need to use Address Book, iCal etc etc.

GPS does not appear to work with data-roaming off and no wi-fi network

I have been using an application called imarkmyspot to produce way-points for synchronising with my camera. When I am in my home country this works fine and a GPS location is found quickly.
I've recently been abroad and had data-roaming turned off to avoid high expense. The point is that in this situation the GPS does not work (with imarkmyspot or Goggle Maps) unless I can access an open wi-fi network.
So my question is, is this correct? Does GPS only work with either data access on or when within range of an open wi-fi network.
If this is feature (bug) of the iPhone then this makes applications such as imarkmyspot rather useless when travelling. Alternatively it could be imarkmyspot that has this problem of course. But I'm quite sure Google Maps did not work either in this situation either.

The iPhone's GPS does work without a data connection.
Two weeks ago on a work-related trip I knew I'd be traveling a rural highway that would leave me without data/voice from any source for at least 45 minutes (no GSM service). Before leaving a city with data, I zoomed out using Google Maps far enough to show most of my route, then "nudged" the map so the application wouldn't try to get a data update for the map. I simply used the top power button to turn on and off the screen. The iPhone and GMaps tracked me through for the entire blacked-out section of my trip - I made sure the device had a decent view of the sky and it got a fix and nailed the location within a few seconds.
Ironically, I'm returning that device in the next few hours for an exchange. The GPS hardware, it seems, has failed about a week ago - the device gets A-GPS fixes now (it shows the nearby 3G and EDGE towers), but won't lock in for more than a second or two. My iPhone's GPS worked, and now it doesn't - AppleCare told me my GPS hardware has failed - and you're may be exhibiting the same failure.
Some A-GPS devices use their sources to get close by - like my TomTom GO and the ephemeris files it grabs from their servers to get updates on where satellite locations are - and then use the on-board chip to nail the device's position. From what I understand of the iPhone's assistance mechanism, the data tower's and Wi-Fi physical location needs to be correct and available in an accessible database somewhere - my iPhone was showing me near Houston TX (2200 mi/3500 km distant from my actual location) when using 3G data until the data source was updated.

Messages Text Invitation Alert does not seem to work with AIM account

Back in the days of iChat - I had a Text Invitation Alert setup to play a sound and repeat that sound. This way if I was away from my computer, it would keep making noise until I accepted/declined the IM.
Now I upgraded to Mountain Lion and am using Messages which replaced iChat. The only account that I have is an AOL Instant Messager (AIM) account. During the upgrade, it kept my setting of a Text Invitation Alert set to repeat.
A couple of things that I notice - when I closed an iChat conversation, that was the end of the conversation and a message from someone after that point was treated like a new Text Invitation. With Messages - I actually have to 'delete the conversation' as all of my conversations are in the same application window.
Here is where the problem comes in... having NO active conversations (i.e. nothing is shown on the right side of the Messages window except 'No Conversations') and having the application closed but my status set to Available - it does NOT play the Alert sound, only bounces the dock icon once.
Having NO active conversations but the application running in the background it performs as expected.
With iChat, a text invitation was treated the same way if the application was closed or if it was running in the background.
Since my default is to have the application closed (with my status as Available), I am looking for Messages to provide the same functionality with regards to Alerts.

Your pop account won't work with iCloud, it's the alternate me address you get when you create an iCloud account that works with iCloud. Outlook won't work with iCloud either, you need to use Address Book, iCal etc etc.
