6 AP1260's but 1 has 10x client associations.
Hi Experts,We have 6 autonomous AP1260's in access point mode in our office. Its a pretty flat office layout and the ap's are equidistant from each other but for some reason 1 gets ~ 60 clients , the remaining gets around 5 -10 each. All are configured identically. Would reducing the power on the one with the most associations help - what power setting should I change it to ?
Any suggestions on making the client associations more evenly spread out.

Unfortunately, load-balancing is not something the IOS AP's can accomplish. Without that capability it is completely a "client" decisions where they decide to go. Eduardo's suggestion of a survey is applicable as you may have the APs placed in such a fashion that your highest density of user's are close to "one" particular AP. Using Rob's suggestion of setting a max-assocation count for your SSID would definitely be an easier route, but you will need to be certain on your counts and coverage so you don't end up with your APs maxed, and no additional clients getting logged on.

So I've an legal Office 2013 version running on my Surface Pro 2, which works fine.
I installed lync client 2013 (not from the appstore, but the desktop version) and on first sight, seems to work as well.
Now comes the issue - when I want to join a meeting, the following error comes up:
"we're sorry, but lync has run into an error that is preventing it from working''
I already re-installed Office and Lync several times - but the error keeps coming and it getting really frustrated because I cannot join any meeting.

Please check if the Lync conference add-in is active in Outlook.
You can check with the following steps:
Click File button on Outlook, Options--Add-Ins. Make sure the Lync Add-in for Microsoft Office 2013 in the list of "Active Application Add-ins". If it is in Inactive Application Add-ins or Disabled Application Add-ins, active it and then restart
Lync client and Outlook to test the issue.
If the issue persists, please also delete Lync user profile and Outlook profile to test the issue.

Approve/Post Journal works in 32-bit, but not the web Client?
We have HFM 4.01 sp2 and sometimes when a user tries to approve/post a journal in the HFM Web Client they receive a security error (even though they have the post role and ALL access to the Entity), then they login to the 32-bit client and they can approve/post the same journal? Why?

TomThe user in question has all the security he needs. . . post journal role, ALL access to the scenario, entity, etc. or it wouldn't work in the 32-bit (windows) client either. I want to know why he received an error in the Web Client, but NOT the windows client?

Nice to see 13" retina but it has only Intel HD Graphics 4000 and does not have NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 memory card. How it will affect the speed, performance and other things compared to 15" retina where NVIDIA GeForce card is available.
The 15" Retina's will have better performance than any 13" Retina. Not only do the 15" machines have dedicated GPU's, but they also have quad-core processors, whereas the 13" Retina's only have dual-core processors.

My itunes has stopped playing music. I recently downloaded more music and now it has stopped playing, it says it is playing but there is no sound and the time bar does not move from 0. I have uninstalled all apple apps on my laptop and reinstalled and then updated the software. I have tried 'repair' aswell but nothing has worked.
Songs in the itunes store are also not working

My iPod 5th gen touch went through the washing machine. It still works but it has water in the screen and I can't get it out. I put it in uncooked rice for a day but it didn't work. And suggestions??
Leave it in the rice for at least a day and change the rice every other day or so. The rice and iPod should be in a sealed container.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $149. They do not fix yours.

The cause could be due to your user agent being mixed up as 3.6.12 and 3.6.13 versions. I think downloading 3.6.13 from www.mozilla.com and then uninstall your 3.6.13 and then install the 3.6.13 you downloaded should fix it in this case. Your settings are in a separate place ([[Profiles]]) and not in program folder.

My old Apple ID is on my iPhone, but this has been transferred to a new Apple ID. The iCloud on my phone is requesting the password for the old Apple ID, but this no longer exists. How do I update the iCloud Apple ID on my iPhone? When I try to get the old passwork through forgot my password, the reply is that there is no account that exists.
Try the following....
Go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account. Then log in using a different ID. -

You're welcome.
First check to be sure the new phone is running the same or higher version of iOS as the one you backed up (Settings>General>About>Version). If it isn't, you'll need to update the iOS first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens on the phone and when given the options, choose Restore from iCloud backup and follow the prompts, choosing the backup of your personal phone to restore to.
Be sure the phone is connected to wifi and your charger while it is restoring the backup. -

The easiest way would be to download the trial version, and then use your existing serial number to activate. Or, if you have already downloaded the update to use to update your original installation, you could copy the file that you downloaded to a flash drive and use it on your other computer.

please help :-(That's Activation Lock. You will need to remember the Apple ID and password you used to set up the phone.
If you can't remember them, you can go to iforgot.apple.com to try to recover the information.
If you are the original owner of the phone & have proof of purchase, you can try calling Apple to see if they can assist also.
