6 November 2013 anyone with the iphone 4 having issue with the phone not turning on and at times locking up where you cant navigate and select contacts to call?
My iphone seems to not want to turn on the screen stays black no matter what you do pressing the home and power button....and at times while it is on it locks up and cannot navigate and call out like the touch screen is in active you have to shut the phone down to get it to work as intended.

You can try a few more things to rule out the iPhone as the cause of the issue.
If you have a protective case on the iPhone, try testing without it.
Make sure the iPhone is updated to the latest version of iPhone software, currently 2.2.1. You can also try restoring the iPhone to rule out issues with the software on the iPhone. This article: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305744 will walk you through updating or restoring the iPhone.
If the issue persists, make a reservation to have a Genius at a local Apple retail store take a look at it or call AppleCare.

IPhone having issues with Proximity sensors
I just got my new 5S with iOS 7.1.1 and occasionally when i answer a call and put the phone close to my ear the screen lags. It turns off and then back on and will do it a couple times before either staying off or sometimes on during a call. Not sure if this is an issue with the sensor on my phone specifically or if it's a software issue. I haven't yet taken it to apple as it isn't an emergency and I have no time to go to an Apple store. Is anyone else having this problem?

Verify mute or speaker have not been activated, just prior to placing your ear over the receiver.
While on a call hold your hand over the top third of the display, and verify that the screen is locked or goes to sleep.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again. -
Anyone else out there having issues with Apple TV loading movies and tv shows?
Taking FOREVER to load a tv show on the cloud...like 30 minutes. When I rent a movie it says it's going to take 8 hours. My internet provider says everything is ok on my end. I'm able to stream Hulu and Netflix through my Apple TV with no lag. Just taking forever when accessing Apple content. Had this problem last night as well and finally got better around 11pm.
Thanks!I'm having vey similar problems. I can't stream anything from iTunes, YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc. Mirroring isn't working and neither is photo stream. I'm logged into my account correctly and streaming using other devices is working just fine. My network download speed is comfortably over 10 Mbps. I've restarted my ISP provided modem, both of my routers, and the AppleTV more than once. I've also reset the AppleTV but no difference.
I recently updated AppleTV to 5.1.1 and used Photo stream since then, but this is the first tie I've tried the other things. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. -

Is anyone having issues syncing the iPhone wifi hot spot to iPad, Mac, Etc..? I constantly have to turn it off and back on to get them to connect. I with it was a little more seamless... Thoughts?
Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.

Verizon iPhone 5, 64GB black - is anyone having issues with a very choppy conversation while talking on the phone? Both my wife and I have the same phones and are both having the same issue. We can only hear every other word of the person we are talking to. This happens at home, on the road and in the downtown area while calling both cellphones and landlines. It is intermittent, so we don't know exactly when it will reoccur. Absolutely no problem with data. The data speed is great.

Anyone else having issues with location services since the 7.1 update? Ever since I updated i’ve been seeing the location services icon on my status bar at all times. I noticed that google was the app that was using it a lot, but after I turned the feature off for google my phone started using the “traffic”, “frequent locations” and “cell network search”. When I turn the feature off for all of those things it’s no longer a problem. So just wondering if anyone else is having this issue or if anyone has a solution?
The "solution" is probably to increase your knowledge. You've done good things. Perhaps this article will educate you a bit more about location services.
Basically, they can be very useful, but can cause a lot of iPhone use. A major example is "Remind me to ... when I leave home."

Is anyone else having issues with the most recent Facebook app update? I updated it on my iPad 2 yesterday, now it will not open app at all. I have restarted iPad, uninstalled app and reinstalled, several times and still it will not work! Any suggestions? I have also closed the append still no results!
I just started having this yesterday. It's only happened twice, but it's annoying. My wife texted me that she was coming home last night, and it showed up immediately on my iPod Touch but not my iPhone. I opened my iPhone and it soon updated. Worked fine after that. Then just a moment ago today my wife texted me and the same thing happened. I heard my iMac and iPod Touch receive the message but it didn't display on my phone until I opened the phone and it showed up again a little bit thereafter. I suppose I'll send Apple some feedback on this issue.

Since downloading OS X Yosemite I have been having issues with Netflix. Video slows down which causes the audio to go out of sync. Netflix plays ok on ipad which makes me think it's the software which is the issue. Has anyone else had this issue?
Try this:
Go to System Preferences - Bluetooth. Delete the keyboard from the list of devices by pressing the "-" button. Take the batteries out of the keyboard and reinsert them. In Bluetooth Preferences press the '+" button to add the new device. If the keyboard begins to pair, click the word "pair" and type in the passcode. Press return. The keyboard is now paired.
If the mouse is not pairing, try this: shut down the computer completely, unplug any USB mice, then turn off the power to the bluetooth mouse. ONce the computer starts up again, wait for the pop-up looking for a mouse. Turn on the power to the bluetooth mouse. It should work normally now. -
