$60 for reset cd!!!

Bought the Ideapad N586 about a month ago and updated to Windows 8 with the upgrade special. I am not liking it and am about to start a graduate online class. One key reset is not working nor is hitting F11 while turning on computer. Called service to get a reset/recovery disk (figured it would be 10-15 dollars. Was told it would be $59.95 ( since I had upgrade to windows 8 and was not having hard drive problems. I am so upset. Any other ideas on how to get rid of windows 8 and get back windows 7. I have looked at blocking Metro UI only and will do so if I have to but I just keep finding silly stupid things I do not like and just want a computer I know how to use before starting my class. I guess you should have burned your recovery DVDs Anything that touches the partitioning (like installing another OS) usually kills the OneKey Recovery feature.
One option would be to borrow or download a copy of the Microsoft install DVD that matches your original install. (for download google "legal windows 7 download notebook review".)
You can install from that media and activate with your existing CoA. You will probably have to use the phone activation option.
You'll also have to manually install any of the Lenovo drivers and apps that you want/need. Some of them (3rd-party licensed multimedia apps, for instance) won't be available for download.

When I tried to create and apple id using my gmail account i found that somebody has already created an apple id using my gmail id. So I gave forgot password option and reset the password of the id. But for resetting the security questions, link is going to some other email id which is created by the other guy. Now the problem is that the other guy also can reset my password and access my account.
I contacted apple customer care and they are not ready to help me saying that I need to give information about the last device I logged in using this id. How can I give it when I did not create it?:) Also they are saying this account has been verified and that could happen only if someone has hacked my gmail account and verified the id using the link sent by apple.
Later I did some experiments and found that this is a security flaw from apple. Somebody has created the id and never used it(I tried to loggin to icloud and it was saying this account was not used it any apple device). The account became verified when I reset the password.(This is a bug, account should be verified only when we click on the verification link sent by apple).
The other mistake apple did is that they allotted my gmail account to someone before it's verified eventhough it cannot be used unless verified. Actually apple should allot the account id only after verifying the email address.
Apple customer care is not ready to help and I am tired of fighting with them. Can any of you guys suggest any means of getting back my gmail id to use it as apple id?

I don't think you're going to be able to. I would guess the other person used your address by accident, and when he found he couldn't access the account (because you'd changed the password) he abandoned it. Your GMail address is now locked to that account and even if it was changed you can't use it to create another.
You already have an Apple ID, which you use to log in here; you can use that to create an iCloud account if that's what you are trying to do. If you want to create a different Apple ID just get another free address such as a Yahoo one.

PAD Mini Locked after iOS upgrade, tried reset on iPAD did not work, plugged in and device not appearing in iTUNEs for reset/restore. Just get an Apple Logo then a flashing blue screen as if it is caught booting up. This has happened twice before and iTunes restore fixed it. But this time device not appearing in iTunes.
Running iTunes for PC. But as stated restore has worked before! Any help greatly appreciated!!

Place the device in DFU mode and let iTunes restore the device to factory condition.

What is the best technique for resetting a view?

I was wondering what is the best technique for resetting the initial state of a view?
I am creating a form and want to provide a reset button for the user. I could write an initialize() method that my action handler calls, but I am wondering if the framework already provides this functionality in a more elegant way.
If I write an initialize method, then I have to manually populate my fields with my context mappings in my initialize() code to mimic what happens automatically by the framework the first time the view is called. This seems prone to error since this is duplicating the mapping logic.

Hi,
Even though it boils down to the same logic, for consistency sake it is good to have the initialization logic coded in the inbound plug method and then to call the outbound plug on reset.This make more sense when you have multiple navigation possible to the same view through multiple inbound plugs.
Else, have an initialization method.
PS: check whether the reset() method of IWDContext make sense. This is helpful when you have remove dynamically added nodes and attributes.

TPM44 Error: No Update type defined for reset

Hello Experts,
Need your help on the TPM44 error I encountered. When I tried to execute TPM44 it mentioned this:
No update type defined for reset (003,L419,001,510,51A,MM1905-)
And the procedure is to define the update type for the reset flow.
But I verified my config and I already did set it up. under Assign Update type for Accrual/Deferral.
Can you please advise what else is missing?

I was able to fix his one by populating the deferral update type as well.

The FC and GC Ive maintained in the Assignment of Valuation Area to Accounting code is both USD.
Im not sure why Im encountering above error.

You can discover this by the following procedure:
Open your Safari web browser by clicking on the Safari icon in the dock.
Click on Safari in your Safari menu, located at the top of your screen.
A drop-down menu will now appear. Choose the option labeled Reset Safari....
A warning dialog will now appear detailing the items that will be removed.
IMPORTANT:
Do not go any further, but at this point you will see what the original items were (the ones that will not be removed).
That should satisfy your curiosity.
They are most likely stored in a .plist or other such file somewhere. You can probably use SpotLight to find it.

Copa there is a option for reset value field / quantity value filed

As per the sap standard in copa there is a option for reset value field / quantity value filed. We
use this function to reset a quantity or value field depending on the
billing type (For eg L2 (Debit Memo) G2(Credit Memo). This means that
the condition value set in the field is replaced by value 0. Due to
this quantity value filed in copa reflects nil. My client requirement is when profit center document is generated System should display the quantity as nil.
i have tried some enhancement but these enhancement is only used in case of PGI . But in the case of debit and credit memo their is no PGI. first we create debit not request (va01) then billing(vf01) then document is generated .
Can we do the same thing in profit center Accounting? When PCA document
is generated System should display the quantity as nil.
Please let me know some user exit or substitution or Bte we can use ?

Just wonder why the external format '1234 ' has to be converted to '00001234', what's the purpose of doing this converstion?
