60 fps looks all choppy!
Thanks guys for your help! I keep reading that iMovie 09 can do 60fps, 720p, but every time I export the movie it looks choppy compared to the original clip. Am I missing something? Thanks so much! (And I've tried both exporting with Quicktime and the Share option HD.)
My Kodak camera uses quicktime, and I have a mid 07 iMac that has 4g's of ram, is that enough for the "exact procedure"? Thanks so much for answering! What is the "exact procedure"?

Now I do want to let you know that your phone has a "main" gmail account. If this "main" gmail account was the one you deleted it may be best that you reset your phone and activate it to your new gmail address.
The reason I recommend doing this is all of your purchased application information is also tied to your gmail.

The bottom part of the screen is like bright it looks all weird i cant see annything in that part my ipod still has the 1 year warranty do u guys think i can get it fix for free or would i have to pay?
Try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. If you iPod is defective, within warranty and not abused, Apple will exchange it at no cost. -

Video looks all "squished" and 16:9 creates boarder all around
Hey,
Thought I had this problem fixed. I am trying to export a clip I captured in FCP 5.1. I shot this footage in 24p Advanced with the DVX100. Well it looks squished and it creates a boarder all around instead of creating black bars at the top and bottom.
In my video settings 16:9 anamorphic is checked. I had this problem fixed originally but it now has returned. Does anyone have any ideas?

Getting this problem in the canvas. The video looks widescreen there (the window to the right) and when I try to export via "Export with Quicktime Conversion" it exports it the way I described. Squished to 4:3 and creates a window boarder all around.
My settings has Anamorphic checked so it should look 16:9. When I export it it looks all screwed up. Someone once told me a couple of days ago I needed to have it checked which I now do and everything worked great, now it doesn't. What gives?
What else would I need to do?

My appletv is properly connected to wireless network, everything looks all right but it can't adjust the time and date. As a result it doesn't work.

Assuming this is not the first time you have used your Apple TV
You might try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Also try restarting the router.
If the problem persists, try a restore, you may want to try the previous procedures several times before doing this.
If restoring from the Apple TV doesn't help, try restoring from iTunes using a USB cable.
If this is a new Apple TV, in addition to trying the above, it may also be that your network router is not allowing access to the timeserver, check that your router allows access over port 123. -

Feeling really stupid with my new MAC - I can't find the "Store" menu in iTunes as referenced in the support article on how to authorize a computer. Where is that menu option? I've looked all over the page, in my account, etc.

In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.

I'm using flash mx and I'm having trouble with text members
that look all blury. How can I avoid this. I am loading swfs with

only way to keep it
neat is to scale it up, never down.

I allowed Firefox to update. It prompted that I may need to update my adobe player. I checked my aol account and tryed to watch a video and it would not work. I updated my Adobe flash player, shut down my pc then went back online to check out a video and it was all choppy including the audio.

60 fps looks choppy, please advise!
Hi all,
I just received my Gopro black 3+ and shot some footage at 1080P, 60fps. I editted this footage in a short movie with Premiere Pro in a 1080P 60fps project and the resulting raw AVI file on a bluray. The movie, however, looks choppy now. Especially the footage at normal speed. The slowmotion footage looks very good. What am I doing wrong? I made the same movie in a 1080P 30fps project using Premiere Elements and direct burned this one on a Bluray as well. Same problem: the movie looks choppy and the slowmo looks good.
What are my options? I could downgrade to 30 fps, but it would be a shame to not use the 60fps right? I want the best quality possible for watching on bluray disc.

HugoHi, thanks for the reply. Problem is that when I use the 60 fps footage in a Premiere Elements project and burn it directly to Bluray, the problem remains the same... what to do? Does 60fps footage downscaled to bluray (29,97 fps) always look fiddely and choppy? The video is far from smooth... What settings should I adopt then?

I have a Mid-2007 Macbook white. I have upgraded its memory to 4GB. Snow Leopard was working great, and I said to myself maybe it's time to upgrade to Lion.
After the upgrade all was well. However, a big problem occurs when I plug in to the Mini-DVI display port with the HDMI adapter, to connect to my Sony LCD HDTV. The whole graphics and video slow down, everything is choppy. Quicktime and VLC video playback is strobe and choppy looks like very low Frame Rate. Cannot watch anything, not HD nor low resolutions. The entire computer is slow when the cable is connected.
Things I tried:
*VGA adapter seems to work fine - it's the digital display output that probably causes that.
*Running it through a new user.
This never happened on Snow Leopard. i'm considering to go back. However, I am wondering if there is a way to fix this minor problem.Update:
We solved the problem. Weird solution but now it seems to work. I plugged a VGA adpater and played with the screen rsolutions to try and watch a movie well on my LCD screen. I changed the screen resolutions but I couldn't revert back to the default settings. Pressing "Detect Displays" didn't do anything.
Here is the interesting part: When I placed back the DVI-HDMI adapter, suddenly everything worked fine!!! There was no choppy videos, no low fps, works prefect.
Something weird is going on here, but I'm happy I managed to get the DVI to HDMI to work because I was about to removie Lion and bring back Snow Leopard. -

But i want to tell you that i am facing some problem in SDN formus.
Its regarding showing 'REPLIES' of the questions.
Please look into my points:
1. Sometimes reply colomn shows -1 reply, how it can be possible.
2. Sometimes it shows replies are ther but when you look into the question, no replies there.
3. Sometimes it shows 0 replies, but when you look into the questions replies are there.
I am totally confused by all this.
I can write this mail directly to moderators, but i want to know one thing....only i am facing this problem or everyone facing this?? Or i can say this is something new in SDN, which i don't know?? Please help me.
I don't want to disturb anyone, but i think i have a valid point to ask this to everyone.
