60 fps looks choppy, please advise!

I just received my Gopro black 3+ and shot some footage at 1080P, 60fps. I editted this footage in a short movie with Premiere Pro in a 1080P 60fps project and the resulting raw AVI file on a bluray. The movie, however, looks choppy now. Especially the footage at normal speed. The slowmotion footage looks very good. What am I doing wrong? I made the same movie in a 1080P 30fps project using Premiere Elements and direct burned this one on a Bluray as well. Same problem: the movie looks choppy and the slowmo looks good.
What are my options? I could downgrade to 30 fps, but it would be a shame to not use the 60fps right? I want the best quality possible for watching on bluray disc.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Problem is that when I use the 60 fps footage in a Premiere Elements project and burn it directly to Bluray, the problem remains the same... what to do? Does 60fps footage downscaled to bluray (29,97 fps) always look fiddely and choppy? The video is far from smooth... What settings should I adopt then?

24 fps to 25 fps please advise

I have a project which is recorded with HD camera, captured as 10-bit uncompressed, but most of material was recorded at 25 fps, some at 24 fps. I need advise how to convert 24 fps to 25 fps, i tried Compressor with duplicate 24th frame option, but that looks bad. Anyone have suggestion how to convert it????You may have better luck pre-exporting media with compressor if you nest the clips into a 25 FPS sequence first. New frames will obviously need to get created, but turning on the frame controls in compressor can give you smoother results, though it'ss probably increase your encoding time significantly.
Another option you might try testing out is to re-conform the clips to 25 FPS in Cinema tools. This will effectiively speed up the clips, and the audio to match, with a slight pitch shift, however, this conversion is practically instantaneous and can be done in a batch. Keep in mind that this will most likely reconform the existing clips, so you may want to create some QT refrerence movies to reconform, particularly if you have started editing with the 24p clips - a reconnect won't be possible once the frame rates have changed.

I just downloaded the new Firefox 4, rebooted, and viewed your videos re the new look and new features. Problem is, my toolbars look no different than before. The new icons you talk about do not appear on my screen. Please advise. Thank you.
The Firefox icon is the default feature for Windows Vista and 7 only, it does not apply to Windows XP users.
To have the Firefox icon instead of the Menu Bar:
View > Toolbars and UNCHECK the Menu Bar.
After that, click on the Firefox icon and you'll have the Menu Bar appear again.

When I open about this mac -> more info and I switch through the tabs (display,memory,storage,support,service) it lags (fps drops, animation looks choppy not smooth) even though all the mac (programs , interface ) works smooth . Why does this happen? (over 300 gb free,same programs installed,free desktop-downloads -no garbage there- everything neat and tidy.) Need some help. Only there it the animations goes like 2 fps and is not smooth. I do not understand why because the programs are the same so its the usage. Nothing is changed, yet i experience this little issue for a couple of days.

iPad, iOS 6.1.3Where did you get the device? Is it possible that it has an IT policy on the device blocking Facebook and/or Facebook options? Look in Options >Security Options >General Settings (actual menu paths vary with OS version) and see if there is any reference to IT policy.

Okay so i had an iphone 5. I backed it up on icloud. Then i got the new iphone 5s i restored ot from icloud from my previous iphone 5. Now everything works find execept now the games are slowy and drops the frame rate and look choppy. Then i restarted my iphone 5s as a new device downloaded the same apps even the ones optimized for ios 7 and the games still lag. And i just got my iphone 5s replace. The funny thing is. While im playing games and their running choppy and slow and if i take a snap shot inside the phone. They run smooth and HD but just for a few seconds and boom they go back to slow and choppy. Is it the ios 7 or the iphone 5s it self? Like i said this is my replacement iphone 5s because the other 5s did the same thing. And it was running slowly.
As far as I know you can't delete the primary email address for an iCloud account. It's assigned when the account is created. But your neighbor wouldn't have been able to get into your iCloud account without your Apple ID and password. Are you sure the account wasn't still on your phone when you gave it to him?
You could migrate a copy of your data to a new iCloud account but I would still be concerned that someone else was using my old account, which presumably still has your data in it.
I'm fairly certain that you're going to have to have iCloud support help you sort this one out as they may have the ability to make changes to an existing account that users can't. Make an appointment with the genius bar at a nearby Apple store and have them take a look at it. If necessary, they should be able to contact iCloud support for you. -
Thanks guys for your help! I keep reading that iMovie 09 can do 60fps, 720p, but every time I export the movie it looks choppy compared to the original clip. Am I missing something? Thanks so much! (And I've tried both exporting with Quicktime and the Share option HD.)

I have installed Adobe Creative Cloud for teams CC Packages which says that Acrobat XI Pro is installed. Your support page says it does not install Acrobat and I have to look in the Extensions folder for an MSI file. I have run a number of searches and cannot find the Acrobat extension folder please advise how can I get these applications to load onto my computer?
Also I now administer the teams and have accepted the invitation to I received to be a team member and download the apps. The admin page shows that I have been sent an invitation but does not show my account as "ACtive" unlike my other team members. I tried to use the link in the invite to accept it become active but the link displayed an error saying I had already accepted the invite... why is no account not active?
Finally what other product downloads in Creative Cloud do not actually download as part of the Creative cloud Packager for downloading the apps? e.g. acrobat and what else?My apologies Eadeszoo I believe our support agents are unavailable on January 1.

On Windows XP.
I watch videos on CNBC and on FireFox 3.6 I use to right click and open up videos in new tabs and there was no problem, they also only started when I clicked on the tab to view the video which was good because it meant I did not have to go through and pause them. But FFox 4 can not handle multi vids in multi tabs, or at least mine can not . Please advise what I can do to fix this. Kind Regards.
It was a job to get the trouble shoot info as FFox all woking very slow and jumpy.Firefox tarballs from Mozilla Org use prefs within Firefox for updates. The "toggle" for not automatically updating - '''app.update.enabled''' and where to look for updates - '''app.update.url'''. The first needs to be '''''false''''' and the second could be a '''''null''''' string, do an update can't be found.

The versions of Firefox that are part of an operating system installation usually are that OS's own build of Firefox, and don't use the same update setup as Mozilla uses, in most cases. I am not familiar with Cent OS, but Ubuntu and Debian look for Firefox updates and from their own program repository servers outside of Firefox - as with the tarballs from Mozilla. -
Hi I have a Konica Minolta PagePro 1300W printer. This works with my Windows-based Toshiba laptop but not with my i-Mac. I have the latest (Mountain Lion 10.8.2) OS-X software.
I have installed the printer using 'System Preferences' on my i-Mac and it appears on the list of available printers but documents that I create just don't print.
Can someone please advise me how I get the Konica Minolta PagePro 1300W printer to work with my i-Mac?

Please note: This printer is designed to be used in computer operating systems running MS Windows only. Operating systems such as UNIX, Macintosh, or Linux are not supported nor do we have workaround drivers available. Older MS Windows versions, such as Windows 3.1/95/98[pre-SE] and NT 3.51/4.0, are not supported.
So KM are not going to help you. But the LinuxFoundation does provide a workaround that should allow you to print. Have a look at this web page. You will need to install all three packages as per the instructions from that page. -
Whenever I turn my MacBook pro on, all the other stuff is loaded (MS word/excel/powerpoint), Spotify, iCal, etc are automatically loaded, so in order for me to go to my desired website, I have to close (x) out all applications loaded. Please advise.

Dealing With The Resume Feature of Lion
Managing Mac OS X Lion's application resume feature.
If you shutdown your computer you should get a dialog asking if you want applications to resume on the next startup. Simply uncheck the box to prevent that from occurring. Open General preferences and uncheck the option to Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps. You can also install a third-party utility to control resume features on individual applications: RestoreMeNot or Application State Cleaner.
It is possible to completely stop the Resume feature although I'm unconvinced that it is that annoying. Nevertheless see the following:
If you have not yet done so you must first make your /Home/Library/ folder visible. Open the Terminal application in the Utilities folder. At the prompt paste the following command line:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Press RETURN. Quit the Terminal application.
In the Finder navigate to the /Home/Library/Saved Application State/ folder. Delete the contents of the folder. Back up to the /Home/Library/ folder. Select the Saved Application State folder. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. In the Sharing and Permissions panel at the bottom click on the lock icon and authenticate. Set each of the listed entries to Read Only. Close the Get Info window.
Quit all open programs except the Finder (this is very important.) Next, navigate to the /Home/Library/Preferences/ByHost/ folder. Look for a .plist file with "com.apple.loginwindow." in the file name followed by some numbers in hexadecimal. Select the file. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window and in the Sharing and Permissions panel click on the lock icon and authenticate. Set each of the listed entries to Read Only. Close the Get Info window. If you also find a file with the same filename but with a last extension of ".lockfile," then you should delete it.
The above should eliminate the Resume feature system-wide. Note that any future system updates or upgrades will likely undo these changes. You will then need to repeat this procedure assuming there are no major changes in OS X related to it. -
HI! I need to obtain a receipt for my yearly fee for my adobe account. I went into my settings and I am unable to obtain a copy of a receipt. I do see my billing information, but I'm unable to obtain a receipt. Please advise.

Can you please elaborate on what you mean by "unable to obtain a receipt"? Are you not able to see the invoices for your payments? Or are you unable to print them? It sounds like you have followed the steps outlined here: Print a payment receipt or invoice | Creative Cloud--can you tell me what you do see when you look at the subscriptions listed on your account?
