  • Imported video becomes very fidgety

I am trying to import a screen capture video that is recorded at 18FPS and although the source video is smooth, when I import it to adobe premiere elements 9 the video becomes very fidgety.

ok so for screen capture i'm using Microsoft expression encoder 4 pro sp2 it screen captures directly to the disc leaving encoding for later which makes it ideal for recording on low performance pc's
the set up i'm using is there are 4 of us:
2 on lap tops recording at 14-16fps
1 on a old desk top recording at 16-18fps
and me on my new upgraded PC recording at 29-32 fps
premier is perfectly fine with my video however all of the other videos are made fidgety
as for codecs the screen capture is encoded to wmv3 VC-1 codec and then converted to AVI xvid codec before being imported to premier
i've tried multiple presets, only importing the low fps videos, import one at a time, re-encoding the videos to a new fps.
and right now i'm attempting something a bit ridiculous but is most likely going to work and that is:
plying back my friends smooth screen capture and then re-capturing it at 35 fps so that the video is now the same specs as my original capture.
this will take allot of time but i don't see why it wouldn't work
and so i would very much appreciate if you had another solution for me
    here's the screen shots:

  • Images in video become over saturated when exported

When I export the project as an AVI the images in the video become over saturated, ie the skin tone of people becomes bright orange in some cases. Is there a setting to prevent this happening?

Grand ideas or major duds...let us try the two different tests to see if we can pin point where the issue originates and its cause....
You may want to work from a copy of the problematic project....See File Menu/Save A Copy)
Open your existing project (the one that is yielding your DV AVI 4:3 @ 29.97 interlaced frames per second, and displaying with color issues).
But, do not export this project's Timeline using Publish+Share/Computer/AVI with Presets = DV NTSC Standard as you have been doing, assumed
with no export settings customization under the Advanced Button of the preset.
    1. Go to Expert workspace File Menu/Project Archiver and its Archive and Copy options. Project Archive the project with the Copy option. This will result in a "Copied....Folder" saved to the computer hard at the location that you designated. Open the "Copied....Folder" to see copies of the source media that went into the project. These copies will represent all the source media that went into Project Assets whether they were used on the Timeline or not. Open each to determine if there is any color issues with any.
    on to second test....
    2. Go to Timeline Menu and select and click on Delete Rendered Files to do just that. Next, render the Timeline content by pressing the Enter key of the computer main keyboard. All video previews generated from Timeline rendering of a SD project are DV AVI files, be the files being previewed photos or videos.
Next, go to the Adobe Premiere Elements Preview Files Folder (by default in Windows' Document/Adobe/Premiere Elements/12.0) and open that folder. Play back the preview files there to determine if they have color flaws.
Please let us know the outcome.
    Thanks.

  • Live webcam video becomes choppy after 600 connections per stream

    Hi!
    Server conf:
    2 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU           L5410  @ 2.33GHz
    16Gb RAM
    2 Gbit ethernet channel
    OS - Linux CentOS 5.5 x86_64
    FMS4 Interactive
    Live stream parameters:
    320х240
    qua_=87
    bw_=200000
    kf_=5
    fps_=18
So, after approximately 600 connections to one stream video becomes choppy (periodically freeze, slow motions). CPU-usage at this time is 100-120% (maximum is 800%, 100% per each core), network usage is 500 Mbit/sec.
But second live stream(with few connections) at this server looks fine simultaneously with 600 connections at first stream.
Experiments with recommendation in "Configuring performance features" documentation chapter(enabling/disabling  aggregate messages and configure the size of stream chunks) do not help.
Please, help me to find bottleneck!
    Thanks for answers.
    Apologisw my english.

What Flash Player version are you using at client-side?? have you tried changing the FP to the latest (in case if you are already using latest FP, then try to switch to some previous version)  and see if this issue still remains?

  • Audio and Video become increasingly out of sync when watching a movie.

When I watch a movie from my itunes folder (purchased) the audio and video become increasingly out of sync. It is like watching an old Godzilla movie. I am using itunes on a Dell XPS M1530 running windows 7. Does anyone have a solution to this? I am not sure if I have a hardware problem or a software problem.
    Thanks,
    J

  • The sound and video become unsynchronized when the off-line recording was created.

    Hello,
I recorded a 1.30 hour meeting by using Adobe Connect. I want to edit the file and split in small time. So I save the recording in local by clicking "Make Offline". When I play back the file from local, the sound and video become unsynchronized.
Any idea and how to sort it out.
    Thanks in advance,
    Nicho

As I recall, there is an issue with Windows 8 and the offline recording function. Not sure if you are using Windows 8, but it may be worth trying to do it on another computer.
However, before you go down that road, know that the FLV versions of the meeting recordings are notoriously difficult to edit. If you don't need to have the recordings in a different format, I would recommend that you do the following instead (will be much faster overall).
Take the URL for your meeting recording and add /output/YourNameHere.zip?download=zip. You can name the zip file whatever you want. This will pull the recording source files down to your local computer. Next, browse to a desired location in your Content library in Connect and re-upload that zip file. You can name it whatever you want, and even create a custom URL for it. Once it is uploaded you will have a second version of the same recording on your server. Just re-upload that zip file as many times as needed. You can then edit each version of the recording separately, allowing you to create as many versions of the recording as needed.

That's okay, there is a fair amount to learn, but thngs will make a lot more sense when you have learned the basics.

  • Video becomes giant when converted for ZE

I'm just wondering, why does the video become so big, when converting a video file for the zen,
EG. a 5 mb video turns into 50 mbs
is there any way of making them smaller?
Or using a less quality output,
Also can I use windows media player to convert the files for the ZEN V.

The Zen V Plus doesn't have support for compressed video codecs. The only format it supports is whats refered to as RAW AVI or AVI DIB format. Which is basically mp3 encoded audio with DIB/BMP frames being played at around 5f
    ps.
Since the unit doesn't support playback of compressed video content, and content that is converted for the unit appears to grow in size as in most cased you are converting from a compressed avi/mpg file to an uncompressed format. Its been discussed in great detail in many threads on the forums over the last couple of years. Search on "Zen V Dib" or "Zen V uncompressed" and you will find many threads with more detail.

I  wonder if another provider would really be much different?  Read some of the other carrier forums - seems to be the same story everywhere.
I'm not disagreeing with you - I've found that I am usually more informed about Verizon policies and procedures than some of the reps in our local store.

  • Why does my video become longer after exporting from Flash?

I am a relative novice in Flash and working in CS5. When I test my file, it plays perfectly with the audio I embedded in my timeline. I tried a couple different compressions when exporting into a Quicktime file, but my video which is only 32 seconds long at 30 fps becomes 52 seconds long! The animation slows considerably, and yet the audio I embeded plays perfectly. Any advice as to how I can get it to match the "test movie" option so I can get this bad boy on YouTube?
    PLEASE and THANK YOU!

Without knowing the overall innards of the timeline it's hard to suggest a strategy other than those already mentioned. A clean test worked fine so the audio doesn't seem to be the issue.
Can you explain what is "buggy" about the output from the converters? Again, those should only be used if there's code involved to facilitate the animation. They essentially run the SWF and attempt to capture each frame as an image while stitching them together into a video. It's a fairly simple thing to do so it's hard to go wrong unless the hardware on the computer isn't keeping up with the SWF frame rate.
Flash CS6 is not compaible (to my knowledge) with 10.8 so that works to your advantage. Perhaps you can try downloading a trial of Flash CS6 and see if your export issue goes away. It won't solve why CS5 is giving you issues but it does put the power in your hands to export it for now. If it still fails to export that's a pretty convincing argument that a gremlin on the timeline is monkeying around.

  • The video becomes garbled (think horizontal hold on an old analog TV) and feedback page doesn't work.

Pages load fine. When scrolling down, the video tears and becomes completely illegible. Refreshing the page fixes it until I scroll down further. Also, the built-in feedback page won't let me submit once I've filled it out. I had none of these problems with FF4 Betas 10-up, until RC1. And it's bad enough to make FF unusable. I've upgraded my video driver; no help. Any suggestions?

I have downloaded several Music videos and TV shows, they will not display on my ITunes on my PC. They work fine on my IPod, but they won't play on my PC windows XP. The audio works fine, but not the video. Does anyone have an answer?

  • Flash player not working properly after I added RAM. Video becomes jumpy

I recently added some RAM to my computer, and now flash player isnt working very well. It will work fine for a couple of minutes then the video starts to become jumpy, like its skipping frames, and eventually becomes so bad its unwatchable. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I switched my memory back to, neither of those worked. The only thing I can do is pause whatever I may be watching for long periods of time then start back up, but the problem persists after a few minutes. Im only having a problem with adobe flash player and am at a loss as how to resolve this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check if a newer device driver for your display adapter is available; see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765

    Hello.
Couple questions that will help us better assist and assistance below
When iPod Touch is connected to the latest version of iTunes
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Click on the iPod Touch name under devices. This should give you a summary screen. On the Summary screen scroll down. Do you have manually manage check marked? if so proceed below.
If Manually Manage is checked. Look on the left hand side of iTunes, On the left hand side you will see the word devices. Underneath the iTunes Store green shopping bag. Might be a few icons down.
Next to your iPod Touch name will be a gray arrow/triangle icon. Press this so it points down. It will then reveal some additional options below the iPod Touch name. One of them is Music and Videos.
On music click it. And it then then show all your music in the middle of iTunes. If the music is a black color and not gray. Then you can click and delete the music you want and it will remove itself from the iPod Touch.
Please keep in mind you want to click on music UNDER the iPod Touch name. NOT on music under the word Library. These are two different areas.
*If this does not work. You can restore the iPod Touch in the summary screen by clicking on restore.
