6070 - Increase the time the display stays illumin...

Is there a way of increasing the time the display stays illuminated for? ATM my screen goes black after a few seconds which is annoying when trying to enter a number - the only way to "re-illuminate" the screen is push another button, which (depending on the button pushed) will take you to a different menu or even start dialling the incomplete number.
The default time the screen stays illuminated for is not long enough, and there should be a way of increasing the time it stays on for. I've tried changing the Screen Saver settings and the Power Saver settings, but niether affect the time the screens stays illuminated for.
Other phones that I've used allow you make the screen stay on for as long (or as short) as you like, but not this one - why?

I want to increase the number of results display in the popup window (i.e. lookup window on web gui) ....
Currently, it displays only 10 values....to see other values, we have to click "next" link....
so, I want to increase the no of display values in one page to 20...

Check Finderr->Preferences->General and ensure that HDs are selected for display. If so and they still don't, Reset the NVRAM/PRAM and Reset the SMC, and see if that does the trick.

I have a hpoffice6500Aplus710n Three in one. Since I have had it Ive had printing problems with. Half of the time the wireless network feature does not work. Then I mtry to hook it up so that it can print using the Usb cable. The computer more often then not is unable to communicate with the printer. Every hp printer I have owned I have had trouble with in one way or another Now Im afraid I m going to scratch this hp printer. If I do this will be the last Hp printer I will ever own. My frustration with HP printers has come to this point I think I should return to kodak I have had almost zero problems with them. So this is a last ditch effort to get some. Every test everytninf on my computer tells me its working properly and that is not true as I can not get in toes. So if I cannot get the wireless running and stay running Im scraping HP forever. Yes this is the order creation date. You can cross check by seeing the time by checking the entry in table (VBAK-EZERT) by passing the VBAK-VBELN as the order number.

You have activated some of the accessibility controls.
Go to settings/general/accessibility here you can find out what is turned on and off.
The the voice over sounds like the first one to check. this will turn off the lady's vioce.

I have the same problem, and the error message is exactly what you have written.
My model is: A300 - 1MC.
I also have a problem with the Web Cam which I think is linked, it hasn't been loading and turning on. we have tried the repair function in the drivers and it will then work, but once I move the lid down the camera fails again, at the same time that the error message concerning the USB appears.
Any help would be much appreciated.

How can I make the Time Capsule Icon stay on my desktop?

I just replaced my old Airport Extreme and aging external drive with a new Airport TC. The upgrade coulen't have been easier. Here's my question. I occasionally want to access the TC as in external drive so I would like the TC icon to appear on my desktop all the time rather than appearing only when the Time machine is running. Is there a way to do this? I'm running all the latest software / firmware. Thanks and I know there have been some similar threads but they were pretty old.

Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock)
Open Users & Groups
Click the Login Items tab (next to the Password tab)
Click the + buttton at the bottom of the list
Use the Finder interface to locatet the Time Capsule drive and open it on the desktop
Click Add
Now the Time Capsule drive....named "Data", unless you have renamed it, will mounta and appear on the desktop when your Mac starts up.

How to measure the time the cursor hovered over an hot spot

I have a task in which participants have to make a decision with two options. Therefore, I have created two hotspots, one for each option. What I want to measure is the time that the mousecursor 'hovers' over each option before a choice has been made (one of the two hotspots clicked). So for instance: if a user first hovers 2,5 seconds above option 1, then goes to option 2, hovers there for .45 seconds, then goes to option 1 again, hovering for .5 seconds before clicking, I want to save those two values (2.5 + .5 = 3.0 s for option 1 and .45 s for option 2) when either hotspot is clicked. I was thinking of using a conditional in my interaction icon using something similar to ObjecOver (which gives which display icon the cursor is currently over), but then have something like HotspotOver (which does not exist). Does anyone know how I can accomplish measuring these hovertimes?

The solution I came up with has five hotspots. First off a calculation icon: OptionTimes := [0,0]
Then the interaction with the hotspots: single click option 1, cursor in area option 1, single click option 2, cursor in area option 2, finally a hotspot surrounding all others
In the cursor in area type hotspot for option 1 I have the calculation:
Option := 1
OptionStartTime := SystemSeconds
Hopefully you can see where this is going. There's a similar calc for option 2 in the cursor in area option 2. It just sets the Option number to 2. In the last hotspot that surrounds the others I have this:
OptionTimes[Option] := OptionTimes[Option] + SystemSeconds - OptionStartTime
When the user hovers over an option and then leaves, the hotspot surrounding the others catches them and records the time they spent. You also need that same calc in the response path for the two options to catch the time taken looking at the option just before clicking in their choice.

When viewing history, does the timestamp reflect the time the document was saved, or when it was accessed?

When you are viewing the history in FormsCentral response spreadsheet, does each dot represent a save? Does the timestamp mean time saved, or time accessed? I am talking about when someone goes in and makes changes, and history records their name and the time.

Seriously, if your photos have been imported with the wrong time zone setting, I'd apply a keyword to the photos that need time zone correction, perhaps the necessary time shift, and remove it after you corrected the time zone - this way you willknow, which photos have tiime zone fixed applied and which not.
You can fix the times with the command "Photos > Adjust Date and Time".
To be sure of the time zones that iPhoto has assigned to your imported photos, make iPhoto display the time zone. This can be done in the System Preferences.
Quit iPhoto, if it is running.
Open System Preferences > Language & Region. panel
Click the "Advanced" button in the lower right corner.
Click the "Times" tab in the "Advanced" panel.
Drag a time zone indication (GMT+1) to the time formats. Press o.k.
Now restart your computer and restart iPhoto.
Now select a photo where you are very sure of the exact time it has been taken - early morning or similar, and look at the date tag in the Info panel. What do you see?
My current system time is set to GMT+2.
When I am looking at a photo taken early in the morning and imported in Alaska, eleven hours behind my current time zone, I am seeing this in iPhoto: The time is correct, 07:53 in Alaska time, but shown as afternoon in my time zone 16:53 GMT+2.
You only need to correct the time, iPhoto did not shift the time as in the example above.
