60G video, need case that works with Griffin Road Trip?????

I recently got a 60G and I'm looking for a case that will protect it and also fit with the Griffin Road Trip FM Transmitter and Charger. Anyone know of one that will fit? Thanks in advance.

SF Bags, aka Waterfield Designs, has several designs made to fit the iPad 2 with the Smart Cover. I, too, have the original Ultimate Exo Sleevecase, but it is a bit large for the iPad 2. They recommend buying the "non-Exo" Ultimate case for the IPad 2.
One case that I particularly like is the SmartCase, and they make a model that fits with iPad 2 with the Smart Cover; it has a pouch on the back for earphones, etc.. I have a similar one for my iPhone and it is very well-made and offers a lot of protection.
They have seven different iPad cases and several are designed specifically for the iPad 2 with the SmartCover.

Need router that works with G4 tower and macbook pro G5

Hi, all,
I work with a group of people and we share our computers when we work on a project. We use my G4 Quicksilver, currently hooked up to a D-Link router DI-524, rev. C. One of our group's laptop died and got a MacBook Pro with Leopard and installed Adobe CS3 (we are using CS2). Problem is the MAcBook Pro keeps losing it's connection, damaging files in Adobe. The router is not listed as compatible with the MacBook pro (same model, rev A is however) so I guess that is part of our problem. I am confused by the variety of products and want to make sure the local network we use functions better. I almost went for the Apple Extreme until I read about possibly needing an enabler. By the way, I am also having trouble with printer sharing, don't know if it is router related as I can most of the time get on line on the Pro and share files - its just that it cuts out unpredictably and causes trauma in the work flow. Since the G4 is the home base, I am posting here. Thanks

It sounds like you have at least two problems: reliable wifi connection and version control. The second one I can just say that when I was an engineer we had a separate software application that allowed collaborative work to be done on a project. It is quite complicated, but only one file could be opened and saved so that a person could do their thing on the file and then save it back to document central. The software would keep track of everything and make sure things were saved properly, etc. If disaster struck, you could still revert to the last version and not have to start over.
The unreliable connection is a fairly common problem. My wife's MacBook Pro is at the other end of the house. The path loss between her machine and the router is significant. Because the Pro has a built in antenna, it's not the best in the world for reception or transmission. I ended up putting a USB WIFI stick on her Mac. I also put it on the end of a USB cable so that I could hoist and move the stick around to get best performance. I'm not aware of any compatibility issues between Macs and routers, but my router is a plain Jane DLink 514 and my iMac, G4, PowerBook Pro, and my Windoz machine running Ubuntu on it are all happy. BTW, I also had to put a USB WiFi stick on the Windoz machine and with the constant internet updates I need for Ubuntu, the connection only occasionally is messed up.

A case that works with Vision M play

I am going to buy a Zen Vision M (can't wait!!!!) this month. I was browsing the selection of players at Wal-Mart and came across this mp3 player case. It was about 3-5 bucks (bought it before Christmas, can't remember the exact price now). A Wal-Mart associate let me try the case out on the display Vision M and it works great!? It's a soft case, has a zipper that goes around three sides of the case. There's a pocket inside the case to store small items and there's a form fitting strap on the back so you can slip it over the back of your hand to carry it with a better grip. The case has some padding to it and the packaging claims it is "weather resistant". Also has?a headphone line out hole in the top of the case so you can thread the headphone wire through it in order to listen to the player while its in the case. The brand is Case Logic. Capture devices that work with Final Cut Express

Would any one out there be able to recomend a reasonably priced video capture device that works with FCE other than a video camera? I want to input video and audio from VHS and DVD. I also want to input Audio from cassette and CD.

I am in a similar situation. All I can say is that the ADS Pyro AV Link works well with iMovie but not with Final Cut Express or Pro so I returned it.
I am waiting for a DataVideo DAC 100, Their web site gives specific instructions as how to use the DAC with FCP so I am hopefull that it will work with FCE.

Docking Speakers that Work with Hard Case

Hey there. I am going to get an iPod Video and I am going to be getting a hard case for it and because of previous iPod experiences, I do not want to take my iPod out of it ever again. Thus, as I look for docking speakers, one of my main concerns is that I can dock the iPod whilst the case is still on. Are there any good docking speakers that work with the Contour iSee hard case?

By appearances it looks much like the Agent 18 case I use.Although I can't see the Dock access on the one you are looking at but they say "easy access to ports".If that's the case,you should be able to use the Bose Sounddock.I do and never take my Pod out.Just can't use the insert(not a major problem)for a snug fit.I can use all the ususal dock connectors too.Also,when you get your 5th Gn,leave the plastic film on the front.Also protects your clickwheel,and from scratches off the case itself.It does happen....

Car charger that works with the bumper case?

Does anyone know which, if any, brands of car chargers and models that work with the new bumper case? I went to best buy yesterday and they all looked too thick to even buy it and give it a try.

I'm pretty sure the lack of functionality with car chargers and the bumper case is simply because the cutouts for the USB connector on the bumper is too small..that's the only reason. Otherwise it will work; it's simply a physical problem with the connector not seating properly; that's it.
I'm saying this based on my own situation. I have a Griffin car charger /FM receiver that worked with my iPhone 3G and it worked with my iPhone 4 until I put the bumper case on.
The situation is the same situation as to why the Apple supplied USB cable that shipped with the 3G does not work with the iPhone 4 w/bumper. Apple redesigned the size of the USB connector and sized the cutout on the bumper for their new smaller size making the bumper not backwards compatible with existing devices with the older size USB connectors. The size differential is not that big but it's big enough to cause problems.

I'm new to Arch linux (coming from Ubuntu) and I'm wondering how to set up a keyring that works with that gnome-network-manager applet and ssh(fs). I previously used GNOME and the gnome keyring, and all out of the box.
I couldn't find any manuals on how to set up the gnome-keyring in Arch linux, neither regarding ssh(fs) nor network-manager. I read people are complaining about network-manager asking for the keyring-unlocking-password, but this doesn't happen for me.
How do I set up the gnome-keyring propertly?

This is not my problem. However, I think it may be related to an old speaker. I was using the 30 pin adapter for about a week after the upgrade to 7.1.2. But I think with the update the speaker won't work anymore. I will try with a new speaker system. Thank you for trying to assist.

Need Sceptre TV Remote Control code(s) that work with VZ P265v3RC -- the '335' code does NOT

Recently upgraded my TV's in my house with new Sceptre 40" and 50" TV's - thank you WalMart. Purchased in September 2014. (new / current Sceptre TVs).
All of the Verizon printed, online, and other documentation for the P265V3 RC (model RC2655005/01B) for Sceptre shows to use code '335'. I have tried the '335' code on both of the TV's and no worky at all.
Following the 'Quick Setup Guide-Verizon FIOS remote' steps (paper/PDF instructions with RC Manual):
I can successfully enter the '335' code as outlned in step 4... and 'The RED LED will blink twice and then stay on'. occurs. So far, so good.
Step 5 states, "5. Press and release the <CH +> button repeatedly until the TV turns off......." This happens perfectly... I can press the <CH+>> button a few times, and indeed, my TV turns off.
Now, onto Step 6: "Test that the remote control is programmed for your TV"..... can't get Mute, A/V, other keys to activate /. be recognized - even though I'm followijng "press and hold that key. Release it as soon as it works"
Does anyone have a working code for Sceptre TV's ??? The Verizon '335' code doesn't work for me.
I need the 'best code' anyone has found that works with new Sceptre TV's.... the 335 code that VZ recommends... no worky.

Turn on your TV and the FiOS TV Set-Top Box.
Make sure you can see live TV.
Press and hold the OK and FiOS TV buttons together then release both buttons.
The red LED light blinks 2 times and then stays on.
Press and hold the Play button.
The remote control tries a new TV code every second.
The red LED light blinks each time a new code is sent.
When the TV turns off, release the Play button immediately.
NOTE: Some TVs may respond slower than others. If necessary, you can press the Ch+ and Ch- buttons to go forward or backward one TV code at a time.
Test your remote to ensure it is working properly:
- Turn on the TV by pressing the TV button on your FiOS TV remote.
- Press the Vol+ and Vol- buttons to ensure that you can control the volume.
- Press the Mute and A/V buttons to ensure they work.
If any of these buttons do not work, press and hold that button. Release the button as soon as it works.
If all the buttons work, press OK to this TV remote code.
The red LED light blinks 3 times and then turns off. Your remote control is now programmed.

What is the case that comes with the iPod Video?

My Friend just got a Nano and the case that came with is is just like a little sleeve that the iPod slides into....it also has no access to any controls (hold button, Dock connector, Click whell, etc.) and cannont see the screen.. you have to take the ipod out to use it....is it that same thing for the iPod video?

The case that came with my 5th generation black iPod video sounds similar to the one you're describing. It is totally enclosed and the only items that I have access to are the headphone jack (top) and the hold button (also on the top). If I put the iPod into the case upside down I can have access to the usb connector. This isn't meant to be a case for use (other than turning it on and going) but I've been able to push through the case to skip songs, rewind, etc.
So, in short, it's nothing fancy but it has done a good job of protecting my iPod against scratches.
