610_b038_multilanguage will only install in German (English Req)

I have downloaded above file and saved it to my desk top. When I run it it installs to German and provides no choice for UK.
I have check my internet language and my computer location, language and keyboard settings.... All to English.
I guess that this software is looking at something to say "install in German". I have tried to read up on it an understand that English is stored in folder 1033 but I have no idea how to force the installer to look here.
I am using windows 7.
I can find my way about on a computer, but that's about it!
Any simple help appreciated?

I am so very disapointed in my blackberry equipment (Playbook and 9810) Its been weeks of trying to get the desktop software installed, so I can pair them together.
Last advice was sound by was not much help as the software is from the Blackberry.com and there is no english version available....
I have scoured my computer to try and find why the software would get a german language trigger (out of all the multilanguage software I install this is the only one that does not install in english).
As there are no other records of this type of faults on google, i have to assume it something to do with my computer or its set up.
any ideas are very appreciated ............. as I am dam fed up!

  • Creative Cloud for Teams - second computer will only install as trial version

    Hi there
My company purchased Creative Cloud for Teams. I use a Mac at work and have installed it without any problems there. However at home i use a PC (Windows 7) and i have tried several times to sign into my Creative Cloud account and download programs so i can work at home but each time it will only load the programs as trial versions.
I have tried several troubleshooting options with no luck:
Clicked sign in on the trial window - but it just asks me for a serial number which i obviously dont have.
I asked my work IT dept to delete and resend my seat invitation which they did but it didnt fix the issue.
I asked my work IT dept to check with the reseller we bought Creative Cloud for Teams from whether there were any restrictions or settings which wont allow to install on a second computer but they said it should be fine.
My team mates at work have installed it on their home Macs without a problem, it seems to be only a PC issue.
I have had CS6 on my computer previously but uninstalled it all in case this was causing the conflict - but it didnt fix the CC issue.
I have uninstalled and used the Adobe Cleaner tool, then reinstalled but this didnt work - the trial days still kept counting down.
I uninstalled again, used a Registery cleaning tool (cleaned registery, temp files, browser temp files etc), used the Adobe Cleaner tool (just to make it extra clean), and removed all traces of Adobe from my machine. I reinstalled Creative Cloud Application manager, installed Acrobat to try it out. This time the trial days have gone back to 30 (rather than zero). I clicked on the "sign in" button, it signs me in but still asks for a serial number.
I tried contacting Adobe via the chat channel but was told after some time that i would need to speak to Tech Support. My dealings with Adobe Tech Support in the past haven't been the most fruitful, so i thought i would ask the forum as my last desperate attempt to solve this problem.
    Any and all suggestions welcome.
    Thanks!

  • App will only install using AIR 1.5.3

I recently packaged and signed an application using the AIR 1.5.3 SDK. The app will now only install if the user has AIR 1.5.3, and fails with 1.5.2, 1.5.1, etc. The application namespace is AIR 1.5, not 1.5.3.
This is an application update, though it also fails on a <1.5.3 system without a previous install. I logged the error during app install:
    failed while unpackaging: [ErrorEvent type="error" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="invalid package signature" errorID=5022]
The certificate used to sign this app has recently expired. Is that the problem?
This is really frustrating. I intentionally signed the app update BEFORE the cert expired to avoid all this crazy s#%^# about migration signatures, botched publisher ids, requiring users to have AIR 1.5.3 etc (or at least kick it down the road 6 months; AIR 1.5.3 had just come out). Now it looks like all users who try to install this app will need AIR 1.5.3 anyway.
I suppose that since users need (certain) admin rights to install the app anyway, updating to 1.5.3 won't be a barrier. But it's still an added aggrevation and yet another thing we need to QA. The client won't be happy.
So is this a bug or a feature? If I signed using the AIR 1.5.2 SDK would the thing still work?

I understand that I should (need to) use AIR 1.5.3 to update an app _after_ a cert expires.
However this particular issue should be noted in the documentation, at least after some testing and clarification. Here's the best succinct description of this problem I can think of:
If you sign an application update with a valid certificate using ADT 1.5.3 and:
-- your certificate subsequently expires and
-- it does not define the 1.5.3 namespace then
you will need to resign your application defining the namespace as AIR 1.5.3 and use the 1.5.3 certificatemigration procedure. Users of your application will be required to update to AIR 1.5.3.
I haven't yet tested the original application install on a non-1.5.3 system since the certificate expired. However I would _assume_ it still installs, since documentation states that an application signed with a valid certificate (and a timestamp) that subsequently expires will install any time in the future.
So it seems using ADT 1.5.3 for signing REQUIRES end users to use 1.5.3 because of this problem, since once the cert expires (almost guaranteed to occur during any 12 month period) users with <1.5.3 will see the installation error if the app namespace is not 1.5.3.  This is a fundamental problem since preparing/signing an app with a particular ADT version should not require that version for the end user.
I'll try to test the original signed app on a <1.5.3 system:
-- If it works that means this issue should be flagged in the AIR documentation somewhere.
-- If it fails, that means this post is wrong, and it also means that any AIR app whose cert expires will fail to install.
So I'll need to re-prepare my app update using the AIR 1.5.3 certificate migration procedure.

  • Download drivers for another pc, but firefox will only install them

I am trying to download drivers for a new (used) pc I obtained. When I try to download the proper driver, The only option available to me is to install. There is no question of do I want to save, only to install. Is there a setting to overcome this?

    Hi bussoboy,
Adding to sarbin's instructions, you should probably run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor from MS .  That will show you what is compatible and what is not.

  • Windows 7 will only install on an NTFS Formatted disk: boot camp partition not formatted right?

I recently tried to install windows 7 on my Macbook (early 2008 white). Boot camp made the partition and I even got to the Windows install screen, but the partition made by boot camp could not be used to install windows on, because it was in the wrong format, evidently (Error: windows can only be installed on a NTFS disk, or something like that). I tried to find someway to reformat the partition in disk utility, but I don't see anything that could change the format. Please help! (If there isn't a way to fix this, is there at least a way to delete the partition? It's rather annoying having 100 gbs of your harddrive just siting there, unable to be used)
And just a side question, does it matter whether you install Windows 64 bit or 32 bit? The printed-out boot camp guide said only the 32-bit version, but it didn't include anything about Windows 7)
    Thank you!
    Computer: Early 2008 White Macbook
    OS X (10.6.7)
    500 GB hard drive
    4 GB DDR2 RAM

    Hi,
Windows 7 needs its system to be installed on a NTFS formatted partition.
There 's no way to use FAT32 as file system for this.
Pages 8 - 10 of the BootCamp Install Guide http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/ describe how-to reformat the partition to NTFS during the Windows installation.
Officially 64-bit Windows 7 is not supported on a 2008 MacBook.
However, there are instructions to be found on how-to do it nonetheless.
    Regards
    Stefan

  • New Windows 8.1laptop will only install MSN/Bing - not firefox

I have installed a yahoo home page on my new win 8.1 laptop, using I.E. I also like to have FF for web browsing. However, when I download FF, it comes as MSN and Bing - which I definitely do not require. Is there a way around this please?

Hi, please see [[How to set the home page]].
Incidentally: You should only download Firefox from [https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/ Mozilla.org]

How do I install on a 2nd laptop?

I'm having a similar problem, I have a creative cloud membership for six more months, my computer was set back to factory settings, and I am not seeing my purchases when logged into my adobe id just the free trial options.

  • Operating system. We have Premier Pro CS6 and 32-bit Windows 7. It will not install

    Dell Laptop Latitude 6420
    Windows 7 Professional
    8GB Ram
A user in Public Relations needs to use Adobe Premier Pro CS6. However when we tried to install it the program is grayed out and has a caution icon. If I hover over it there is a message that says it prefers 64-bit. Prefers does not mean will not work in my opinion. However it will not install.
I read that Premier Pro is 64-bit only on another web site. Is this true? There has to be a solution.
On the Adobe site I saw that installing CS4 Premier was the work around but you have to purchase a license key. We have already purchased Premier Pro and do not have money in the budget to purchase an older product when this one should work.
Please help. I am under a lot of pressure to resolve this

Premiere Pro CS6 is 64 bit software and will only install on a 64 bit computer. There is no way around that.

  • CreateJS extension - will it install in FlashCC?

I get an error if I try to install Toolkit for CreateJS (see attached screengrab).
As FlashCC is version 13 I suspect this extension will only install in Flash CS6. I wonder if this is now built in to CC somewhere. If so, where?
As there is no Flash CS6 download available in Creative Cloud, I would hope I can install it for CC - but I don't know how.
I'm trying to replicate the export FLA file from InDesign as shown in Terry White's tutorial here: http://tv.adobe.com/watch/creative-suite-podcast-designers/go-from-ind esign-cs-55-to-html-5/
Or is there another way of doing this now, with another of the CC applications?
    thanks

Toolkit for CreateJS has been integrated into Flash CC. You can find it under "Window" dropdown menu.

  • German - English Dictionary to translate words in iBooks

Anyone know of a way to install a German - English dictionary that can be used to define words within iBooks?  This functionality is in Kindle, would be useful to have it for my German iBooks as well.

No, Apple does not provide the kind of dictionary you want, and there is no way for users to add any so that they will work that way.  But you can ask for it at
    http://www.apple.com/feedback
There may be other ebook reader apps (e.g. Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Googlebooks, Sony) which have this kind of feature, but you would have to check them yourself.

  • I am trying to run my registered CS6 Design Standard programs for the first time after install. InDesign runs OK, but Illustrator and Photoshop will only run in trail mode. How do I activate those two?

I can't get my registered versions of CS6 Photoshop and Illustrator to run in full mode. I installed CS6 Design Standard online end of June (an upgrade from CS5.5), on my old MacBook Pro. I didn't run the programs then as I was waiting on arrival of new MacBook Pro. I migrated the programs from my old MacBook to the new, and today tried to run those programs for the first time. InDesign work OK (after an initial hiccup) but Illustrator and Photoshop will only run in trial mode, and won't let me save files. My CS6 Design Standard shows with it's registration in my Adobe Account. All seems in order, but Illustrator and Photoshop won't run in registered mode. Can you please help?

Demons1 in the future please only migrate your documents and settings.
Please use the uninstallers to remove your current installation.  They are located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder.  Once the uninstall is complete you will also want to run the CC Cleaner Tool.  You can find more details at Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.
If you need to download a fresh copy of the installation files for Creative Suite 6 you can do so at Download CS6 products.

Upgrading from iPhoto 8 to iPhoto 9 requires a purchase. There are two ways to get to iPhoto 9:
    1 - purchase a copy of the iLife 11 disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com or eBay.com.
2 - if your MBP meets the requirements upgrade you system for free to Mavericks.  Then you can purchase the latest iPhoto version, 9.5.1, from the App Store.
