    It's now fixed. Looks like it was configured both in the Server Package and
    the Service Location Policy, so I removed the settings from the Server
    Package, and voila it works!

  • 610 error... Database location Policy not found

    I realize that this item is not new to this forum and I have tried all the solutions from here and in any TID's I could find. The configuration looks correct. The only thing I can identify is that it stopped working at the same time that I updated the NW6 server with edir873 and jvm141. I have since then applied the patch to edir and jvm142sp3. Is there a resolution that anyone knows of.

  • Software Updates Failing - Group Policy Overwritten - Server and Policy NOT CONFIGURED

    I have seen a few posts about this issue and group policy overwriting the settings needed by SCCM with the wrong WSUS server. I checked the wuahandlerlog and found this error but it didnt have the server information.
    "Group policy settings were overwritten by a higher authority (Domain Controller) to: Server  and Policy NOT CONFIGURED"
    The only coputer policy that applies to this system does not have WSUS entries in it.  Windows update runs ok, and I deleted the WSUS registry keys that were set by a script and reinstall the client still getting the same error. I dont see any GPO local or domain, or reg keys that are setting anything. I have 10 other servers is the same AD container that this is working perfecly on.......
    Suggestions????

    Check out this GPO:
    Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Group Policy:
    "Turn off Local Group Policy Objects processing"
    The help text:
    "This policy setting prevents Local Group Policy Objects (Local GPOs) from being applied.
    By default, the policy settings in Local GPOs are applied before any domain-based GPO policy settings. These policy settings can apply to both users and the local computer. You can disable the processing and application of all Local GPOs to ensure that only
    domain-based GPOs are applied.
    If you enable this policy setting, the system does not process and apply any Local GPOs.
    If you disable or do not configure this policy setting, Local GPOs continue to be applied.
    Note: For computers joined to a domain, it is strongly recommended that you only configure this policy setting  in domain-based GPOs. This policy setting will be ignored on computers that are joined to a workgroup."

    Hi,
    I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.1.4 and ADF-BC in my project.

    I have a requirement that when data base details are not configured properly in Weblogic Data Source or when Database is down,I need to display an error message either when I access application task flows or in login page itself when application starts.
    Can I achieve this???Please advice.

  • 610 Database Not Configured Error?

    Hello,
    We have had Zen 7 installed for quite a while and now are looking to get
    some information from the inventory. Of course, now that we are wanting to
    use it we have noticed that it hasn't ever been working completely as we
    are getting the "610: The Database Location policy is not configured."
    error. I have checked and double-checked the Service Location Policy and
    the Server Package. Both have the Zenworks Inventory database configured
    to the inventory database object for the server.
    What else should I be checking?

    Well, after poking around a bit more, I cleared the associations for the
    policy and the package and re-associated them and the inventory server has
    started.

  • CR10 Dev JRC ReportSDKException Report location is not specified in the configuration file error

    I'm trying to embed a simple report into a j2ee application running under BEA WebLogic(without
    workshop)
    using the standalone Java Reporting Component (JRC), but I'm getting the exception
    shown below (along with my config and source).
    I'm just wondering at the cause of the exception, because I can successfully deploy
    this code to jboss.
    I've tried moving the CrystalReportEngine-config.xml file everywhere, from the
    /WEB-INF/classes/ folder
    to the /WEB-INF/ folder to the /WEB-INF/lib/ folder.
    I consulted the product documentation on the JRC and its tutorials but it has
    me stumped.
    I went through the BEA WebLogic Workshop tutorial, which worked for some reason,
    but I'm looking to do all the coding manually without any of BEA's controls and
    what not.
    Any information would be GREATELY APPRECIATED!!!
    Thanks,

  • Standby Database Location not listed

    We have the primary database created and the primary database, server, and agent and the standby server and agent are listed in grid control targets. but when I go to create a new standby database, the standby server is not listed for selection in the list of servers to select for Standby Database Location.
    The agent on the server appears to be running and uploading fine.
    Windows 2003 server SP2
    Oracle 10.2.0.3 on Primary
    Oracle 10.2.0.2 repository
    Grid Control 10.1.0.4

    We don't have a standby database because the server isn't listed in the list of Standby Database Locations to choose from. We are trying to create the standby database.
    We've tried to Discover the standby server but it seems to already be Discovered because it is listed as a target when all targets are displayed (target type of host).
    It's almost like the grid control sees the server but for some reason feels it's inelligible to be a standby server.

    I made a small vb 6 application to launch the reports. Now I need to change database location for the reports trough VB 6.  I have the following code, but it is not working. The reports do not show any data and I do not get any error. I think the problem is with the hardcoded query. The report is designed on this query and the field reference on the reports are like Command.Field1
    I just want tho change database location in VB, but I want the report take the query that is in it.
    I have the following code. How can I make them work.? Is there a better way to do it?
    Dim Report As New CR2 'set up the report
    Dim conn3 As New ADODB.Connection  'ADO connection
    Dim rs As New ADODB.Recordset      'rs connection
    Function F_ViewReport()
    'On Error GoTo End_FormLoad
        Dim sSQL2 As String
        gsRootJob = "4850"
        Dim sSQL2 As String
        gsRootJob = "4850"
    "SELECT Material.Job, Material.Indicator, PO_Detail.Order, Source.Act_Qty,  Vendor.Name, PO_Header.PO, PO_Detail.Due_Date FROM (((Material LEFT JOIN Source ON Material.Material_Req = Source.Material_Req) LEFT JOIN PO_Detail ON Source.PO_Detail = PO_Detail.PO_Detail) LEFT JOIN PO_Header ON PO_Detail.PO = PO_Header.PO) LEFT JOIN Vendor ON PO_Header.Vendor = Vendor.Vendor WHERE (((Material.Job) Like '" & gsRootJob & "*')) ORDER BY Material.Job, PO_Header.PO, PO_Detail.Line;"
        Report.DiscardSavedData
        Set conn3 = New ADODB.Connection
        conn3.Open "provider=Microsoft.jet.OLEDB.4.0; Data Source=" & App.Path & "\Data tables.mdb"
        Set rs = New ADODB.Recordset
        rs.Open sSQL2, conn3, adOpenKeyset, adLockReadOnly
        Report.Database.SetDataSource rs, , 1
        CRViewer2.ReportSource = Report
        CRViewer2.DisplayTabs = False
        CRViewer2.ViewReport
        CRViewer2.Zoom 1
        Screen.MousePointer = vbHourglass
    Please help!

    Hi Cris,
    It seems that you are having issue with SDK's.
    Post your question in SDK forum.
    [SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio;
    You can download samples from here:
    [https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/samples]
    That forum is monitored by qualified technicians and you will get a faster response there. Also, all SDK queries remain in one place and thus can be easily searched in one place.
    Thank you for your understanding,
    Regards,
    Shweta

  • EM console HA page says "Data Gaurd not configured for this database"

    I am attempting to use EM console's "High Availability Console" to create a standby database, but, the option is not available. Under "Data Gaurd Summary" the page shows "Oracle DataGaurd is not configured on this database."
    How do I configure this option so that I can use the console to create Standy databases? I have looked everywhere I can think of and cannot find any instructions!

    Click on your database name, and you'll be lead to a page which shows you all the statistics of your Db
    Click on the "Availability" Sub Tab.
    You'll see the option to "Add Standby Database". You can take it from there. (you'll be prompted to log in to your database -- log in with sys)
    Now click on "Add Standby Database"
    The process I normally follow is this
    1. RMAN your primary
    2. Create standby control file from primary.
    3. Get your init file from primary
    4. Copy everything over.
    5. Make the init file changes (fal client, fal server on primary, any kind of directory mapping, point the init file to the standby control file on the standby side)
    6. Bring up the standby db (doing all the other changes that are required)
    Then you can import that Db into OEM,
    or you could just use the Wizard from OEM :)

    Hi,
    It seems that you're in the wrong forum: this one is about Visual Composer (not Visual Administrator).

  • I couldn't locate policy.properties or sso directory in Oracle AS10.1.3.1.1

    I'm trying to do SSO, configured policy in Access Manager as per integration steps in b25347.pdf
    I couldn't locate policy.properties or sso directory in Oracle AS10.1.3.1.1
    I dont know what i'm missing ?

    Thank you,Madrid!
    I have resolved the problem by setting the
    ORACLE_HOME to the right value.
    And thank all of you.
    But I still can't unstand why I could connect tothe
    database through user "system" without setting
    ORACLE_HOME environment variable???Hi everyone,
    I too, have encountered this problem. The user i
    used to install Oracle 10g Express is a member of
    ORA_DBA group AND it also has Windows admin. rights.
    However, i am not able to connect / as SYSDBA.
    Where and how in Windows can I verify ORACLE_HOME
    environment variable? and where can i check if it is
    pointing to oracle_sid? i have search for this
    pattern but was unable to find it.
    Thanks all for your help!Thanks everyone for all your replies. I verified and sure enuf, oracle_sid was not set the the db name
    Thanks!

  • DW Procedures to connect to MS ACCESS database located on remote server

    I am confused about the procedures within Dreamweaver CS3 to connect to a MS ACCESS database on a remoter server.
    I am working through a tutorial book, "Dreamweaver 8 with ASP, Cold Fusion and PHP Training from the Source", but the instructions are unclear concerning the procedures to connect to a MS ACCESS database located on a remote server.
    The book indicates that the server administration has to create the DSN for you and screen shots indicate that you will result in a list of DSNs to choose from when creating the connections .asp file.
    I went through the procedures to create a connections .asp and resulting in a connection without and tables (of course) because I do not initially have any connection information from my remote site.
    I have generated the required two lines of code as follows for my MS ACCESS database connection on my remote server:
    'Database connection info and provider
    strCon="Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source="&_
    Server.MapPath("database\trans.mdb") & ";" &_
    "User ID=xxx;Password=xxxxx"
    The question that I have is:
    How does this connection coding relate to the "connections/conn_newland.asp" file that was create within the Dreamweaver screens?  How do I merge the ASP coding?  The file (/connections/conn_newland.asp) generated within Dreamweaver is as follows:
    <%
    'FileName="Connection_odbc_conn_dsn.htm"
    'Type="ADO"
    'DesignationType="ADO"
    'HTTP="true"
    'Catelog=" "
    'Schema
    Dim MM_conn_newland_STRING
    MM_conn_newland_STRINT = "dsn=newland;"
    %>
    Any advice would be appreciated.  I know that this is simple but debugging an error from an  ASP coding merge would be a "bear" to debug!

    I have not used MS Access myself (fortunately) but I believe it works much like the old, old way of achieving a multi-user database in FileMaker.
    That is, it is not a true client-server database but more a peer-to-peer database and that each peer opens the same database file which is available to multiple user via file sharing. Therefore as elikness said it should just be a matter of putting the files on your Lion Server and then sharing that folder/volume using SMB sharing.
    However one thing to be aware of, since MS Access is not a true client-server database I would imagine it uses record locking to manage simultaneous direct access to records in the same files. File or Record locking is something that has historically been a bit flakey when using Windows clients with a Mac file server (and probably vice versa).
    While I am not proposing it as a solution to consider seriously, it is worth you knowing that FileMaker Pro is a database system that is available for both Mac and Windows and depending on how you configure things can be considered to stretch from a configuration very similar to MS Access at the low end all the way to a high-end MS SQL Server style setup at the top end. See http://www.filemaker.com for details.
    There is also a a third-party tool available for migrating databases to or from FileMaker Pro and it can convert MS Access databases to FileMaker Pro see http://www.fmpromigrator.com/
    You could use FileMaker Pro just on Windows machines if you wish.

    I'm getting this error and is there any way to resolve this without re-creating the service/s again, etc. Just curious if there are any suggestions/steps I may have missed, if not, I'll drop and recreate the services again
    Anyway, I have a backup of the emkey.ora and put it in the sysman/config directory, but still doesn't work... please see below...
