6120c Car holder question

I have a the nokia CK-7W car kit with a wired holder for my 6230i, I am looking at getting the 6120c phone, and wondered if you could get a wired holder for it, as I like the phone to be charged when I am in the car.
If I cant get a holder will this phone work with the blue tooth option of the CK-7W car kit??
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thnkas

There is no hard wired cradle available for this phone but it should work ok via bluetooth connection.

  • Nokia X6 - In-car holder advice ...

    Hi chaps,
I had a go at sat nav over the weekend and was really impressed with it. I am going to get the nokia X6 car holder (CR-120) as it looks the part.
    However, I just have 2 questions :-
    a) I have a silicon cover over my X6 making it about 53mm x 112 mm x 17 mm, ~1-2 mm bigger on all sides. Will it still fit ?
    b) When you rotate the holder so that the phone is in potrait mode, will it hit the windscreen ? What is the maximum angle you can achieve between the phone and the windscreen ?
    Thanks everyone !

My X6 came with a car holder in the box. Rotates for both portrait and landscape modes.
Doesn't stick very well to the windscreen though. I had to find a place on the dash which was
    smooth enough to work.

  • IPhone 4 bumper compatible car holder?

    hello there.
would like to buy a car holder that is compatible with iPhone 4 with bumper case installed.
Kensington Windscreen Car Mount is compatible (according to product QnA page), but it's on the expensive side, and i don't really need its audio amplification.
anyone know any other car holder that is compatible with bumper case, and cheap? no need for extra features, just mount onto windscreen.
    many thanks.

i had been looking at Arkon Slim-Grip series, and it appears to be exactly what i want. but there isn't any available in the UK
also from Arkon, would this work?

ProClip is way too expensive for them to ship to UK
    would this work?

also saw this, nice and cheap, similar mounting system as other Kensington mounts

  • Can I use the Tetrax XwayUniversal Neodymium Car Holder savely? Or can the magnet damage my iPhone5?

I'm considering to buy the Tetrax Xwat Universal Neodymium Car Holder. http://www.pdashop.nl/product/95582/tetrax-xway-universal-neodymium-car-holder.h tml
But I'm afraid the magnet will damage my iPhone5, because of it's magentic field. Has someone experienced this or can somebody advice me in this?
    Thank you very much!
    Maria

that magnetic storage can be harmed by a passive as in non eletronic powered magnet is a myth
the storage in ios devices is not magnetic but flash based so even a eletronic powered magnet can't do anything to the stored data

  • Car holder for Lumia 920 - Recommendations?

I had an official Nokia car holder that suited my Lumia 800 just fine.
However since getting the 920 it is redundant, I need another suitable one for the new beast to sit nicely above my dashboard for Nokia Drive ease of use etc.
Can anybody recommend the best one out there?   Trouble with the internet outlets is you don't get a feel of the quality and I have been stung in the past with cheap ones that fall apart.

Used an Osomount for both the 920 and 820 on a recent trip. Very handy because it sticks to practically any dashboard.

  • Car holder for E-51?

In the latest (Feb!) issue of PcPro, there's a query from a reader about a car holder with charger for the E-51.
mark Squires, Nokia UK's head of comms is reported as saying that the CR-82 will work with the E-51.
This isn't confirmed on the Nokia web site.
    Can anyone clarify this?

Both the CR-39 and CR-82 are universal holders, and therefore are not exact fits.
However, Brodit are bringing out some E51 specific holders, I recommend you try those. you can find them on

  • Car Holder / Car Kit for Xperia Ray

I'm sorry, but I can't find a Car Holder for my Xperia Ray. In SE accessories list for this phone is no car holder!
I found a Car Kit CK100 but in the list of compatible phones is my Xperia Ray not included.
Could you help me to found right product?

Although it is not listed, the CK100 and Xperia ray will work together. I actually use this combination myself and it's perfect.

  • N95 in car holder and charger

Check out www.brodit.com, they are releasing an in car holder with built in charger for the n95

    Hi chromakey
I don't know whether this will carry the software needed to keep the backlight on whilst in holder, or whether you will have to install the application "Lights on" from the Nokia Software Market!

  • Another Car Stereo Question.

I know many of you guys still have problem connecting iphone to car stereo and
there's no clear solution for this issue. But,i'm still posting the question about this. O.k. Here's thing. I've been connecting 2nd gen nano to Alpine Car stereo using Aux cable with dock connector. But, Iphone does not work with this cable due to different pin layout.
    So My Questions are:
Will Apple Universal Dock solve this problem?
Is there any cable or connector that changes pin layout?

The 30 pin connectors are not compatible with the iPhone when it pertains to transfering data like music. It will charge your phone but will not play music.
I have a Premier Pioneer deck and tried the 30 pin connection since the deck is compatible with iPods. However, it would not work. The only solution is to take advantage of your auxilary port and connect it to the headphones jack.
I do have to add that I had to grind away the plastic so that it would fit in the iPhone's headphone port. Only Apple would create the best phone out there and then neglect to allow us to use it like an iPod. Sigh.

  • CR 122 car holder problem

    I bought a CR 122 for my N8.
But allready the first time I rotated it (to get the phone in "portrait mode")
the center pin (from the phone holder to the suction part) became "loose".
It's stable up/down and sideways. But rotates 10 deg each way.
Quite annoying. Is this a common problem? Anyway to thighten it
(must say I liked the old holders with screws and metal parts :-)

I know what you mean, but I stick mine to the screen and adjust it so the bottom/side of the phone is touching the dashboard ! Problem solved, cheaply
Well at least with the N8, you couldn't use the car charger, then - plugs into the normal power socket at the bottom of the handset.
Maybe OK if you're using the USB socket for charging.
Have to say, it was one of the downsides of using a 5230 in the car - if you wanted to use power, you had to plug it into the top of the phone - cable going up the screen, with the phone in portrait orientation - and I have to say, I much prefer sat nav on phones using the screen in portrait mode - as you get to see more of the road ahead of you, rather than a big wide view.
I don't really get the point of using "widescreen" sat navs in landscape mode - I know some roundabouts may look to be complex junctions, but I'd much rather have more view up the road, and more advance warning of where I need to be.

  • Car charger question

ok, they apparently have no car chargers made specifically for the 3g, and some of the older ones are coming up with error messages...I went to the apple store and they said they don't know for sure and can't garauntee anything but sold me one that is basically a carcharger usb converter...He said these have been working...
It seems to work with no error message, but I do hear a VERY FAINT high high pitches hiss(similar to a misquito ringtone) when the phone's screen is on, coming from the charger, not the phone...
I remember this happening with my old clickwheel ipod car charger.
Main question...Is this ok, or is this abnormal? I only got it for emergency use and don't plan to use it unless I have too, untill the new ones come out...Also, where the heck are the 3g cases...They had a bunch of cases my grandma would wear...
***Also, I already lost my cloth, do they sell replacements.(I know any microfiber will do, but I liked that it said iphone on it and was the same size as the phone...lol

The hiss is ok, but you need to be aware that you need to turn your phone feature off while listening to the iPhone in the car radio (that is, put it in airplane mode). The iPhone is not shielded and will cause terrible interference with the car radio signal.
